Guys, I must share something with you. Everytime I read things about casuals doing no deeps and running around like headless chickens, I imagine bosses eating them like a box of chicken deeps

I got temp banned from the forums so sorry I haven’t been here in awhile.

A few things now due to recent developments:

Some portions of this farm may not be viable. Metaevent guesting, for example, will be irrelevant now due to the scheduled timers. Believe me, I’m very angry at this development and it is a pathetic ‘fix’. Not only does it hurt hardcore farmers like me but it hurts casual players who do not have enough time to play the game. The benefits of the megaserver are nothing compared to the disadvantages to the scheduled format.

As for Orr farming, it will still be viable but very inconvenient. I don’t know if guesting will be eliminated completely, and how it would work, but assuming it remains in place, it should still work. The only problem now is the use of waypoint guesting, which kill valuable seconds and cost us extra silver for waypoint costs. I may have to end up parking my characters at certain spots.

I will keep this guide up until April 15th and may close it after that. I suggest everyone farm their materials and globs of ectoplasm before this patch, as it is likely we are going to see some significant changes in the economy.

Oh, and I got this a few days ago, which lessens the sting of megaservers.

I really find the megaserver idea to be bad. Even if the overflow management and the guesting systems had their flaws, we got accustomed to them and going back on them to do a total revamp breaks player habits.

I’m really sad that it broke your farming guide, which is really awesome. While I was already doing some of these events, I added some new ones into my rotation and i’m thankful to you for that. I’m making ~100 tier 6 per hour of active farming and the server changes are gonna mess up my farming style :’( There are some other farms though, especially for t6 and rares We will have to be cunning to make up for that loss. If ony they could go back on this stupid announcement.

Went back and checked spitfire dye. Pretty much the same problem as with all red dyes. By now I’m at the point where I believe there is simply no coulour that gives me a bright red with my female sylvari light T2.
But maybe someone will come up with something I overlooked, that’s why I asked here.
In the end, if all else fails, there are still some total makeover kits in my bank and maybe it is time for a new look entirely.

Dungeons are funnier though. PvP mobs are less dangerous than their PvE counterpart.

My guess on that is that you’ll have both skins yes, but is that really interesting when you lose out on the stats changing commodity and the ascended stats level ?

Moreover, it’ll look stupid to have a legendary skin on an exotic/ascended, in this way it doesn’t decrease the value of the legendary because only them will have the purple colored name.

Mmh, cooking mats to make dyes Iris, now. Sell yours/harvest for profits. The price will drop in the next days, but this patch opens up some good ideas for things to buy.

On a dungeon related note, I’m gonna make my other characters look good now :>

I approve of this. Drunk dungeonnering is one of the best things. And wine is awesome, especially red wine.

On a dungeon fail note : my best drunk run was the one where everyone in the PuG was stoned/drunk and we cleared all of AC P1. Even the scepter room :>

This isn’t in a dungeon because i also wanted to be able to use the Selfless potion, which only works in Open World. This however allowed me to take a screenshot in front of a skill point to have the halo shine brighter ^^
