Okay, since Wethospu always talked about trying it, I went against Lupi in a GS + Mace/Sword setup to try Warrior reflects.

Mace’s is too short to be reliable IMO. Sword’s ok but you only reflect the projectiles in which aoes you stand.

When using 4/5/2/0/3 I got 15-20K reflects on Lupi, but well, its not woth trading the power I think :/

So due to the fact that I’ll be on week-end in exactly 20 minutes, I hereby announce a guild event. I’ll teach anything, be it on EU or NA, whatever the hour (well maybe not past 5 am) for the next 50 hours (starting when I get back home).

I’ll also solo some paths and do giveaways. All of the above can be done on stream for those who aren’t on week-end :>

Recently a bunch of arah sellers got banned for selling exploited runs, there was even a guy named Dolan who got banned too, and he was quite known here in the dungeon forum, so i believe if you keep reporting that scammer you can get him punished for selling exploited runs.

Except that some of the banned people were “light” exploiters. And Dolan, as far as I know never exploited to sell.

But yes, keep reporting that guy and hopefully he can get banned. Less competition is always better :>

The only risky comp i can think of is 5 necros in a high reflect situation. But thats a low dps group so you wouldnt run it anyway. Every class has ways to deal with pretty much every encounter with little to no risk. Dungeons arent that hard in their current state. :P

And even according to elitists, I’m a kitten for complaining when people don’t fill them. I should kick but I’m a tad too nice…

So I’ll answer in order :

1 & 2) Yes, gw2lfg is dead, for the ingame LFG sytem works well (friend panel, second tab). Only use gw2lfg when ig LFG system is down (happened once so far).

3) Ranger is starting to be accepted in pugs, but you need to play it well Do watch the videos, it’s nice advice and if you follow them you’ll peform better than so called “pro pugs” (personal experience there).

4) As far as playing ranger goes, please play fully in melee, at least in dungeons. The combat system of GW2 emphasizes on meleeing to make the best out of the boons and damage, damage that is basically the only thing you’ll need in dungeons. Non basic explanation is damage + necessary support, in the form of traits and utilities, not gear.

5) If you want to play ranged, you expose yourself to :
- getting kicked on spot.
- having nothing but first-timers or noobs with you (which gets rther annoying as you repeat the content).

Like everytime I put time into SOLOING content, to the best of my skill, which is still so hard and for very little reward, and I hope for good SELLING RNG, there are always trolls who join my party to attempt kicking me.

Like really, these guys can just make my progress disappear, all the solo done for nothing, it’s so horrible ANet should do something ASAP IMO LOL XD

If only I could get seller protection and know their names to be able to report them, but I can’t see anything, it’s impossible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some players actively ruins your solo strategy.
Solo strategies works only due to an indecorous AI, when other players makes so the AI is slightly less predictable, you can t rely in positioning, LoS and stuff like that anymore.

It takes on average 10-30 seconds for a bad to die in a fight he/she doesn’t know. Let them lie on the floor while you solo. You lost 1 minute on a full run.

Best one I’ve seen so far was during the Attack on LA event. Someone recorded themselves being pulled by a watchknight from the water and up into the skies. It was amazing :p

They nerfed it because dungeons became stupidly easy. A fight that lasts more then 20sec against a boss is considered long.

Either dungeons need to be harder to justify giving 1.5g + benefits everytime, or you simply have to accept that the reward has been adjusted to meet the very low effort required.

It’s good that the dungeons stay fast IMO.

If you do regular farming/WB train gold per hour for a PuG (not experienced speedrunners, nor pro farmers), you basically get the gold per hour amount for dungeon running. Which is 6g/hour + mats.

I worry for the future. This isnt just about how people like to quickly farm gold, this damaged the communities ability to deal with future content, or the future content will be a similar farmfest thanks to cornor-cheese.

Same trick, exact same tactics, different environmental setting.

I mean, look at all the open-world zerg fests, the megaserver kitten that puts you together with everyone and their mothers to farm the same mobs for hours…Stack and auto-attack lol. No ned to dodge or anything, tere are enough meat shields tank wannabes for you to AFK :/

Good part though, the dungeon community remains strong and we can still solo paths or strive to get better times with a clever use of what is at our disposal…

Just joined an EXP only Arah p3. This happened while I was soloing lupi after they all died (forgive my spelling mistakes, had to dodge during typing ^.^).

Needless to say I kicked him immediately (glad I quickly opened it before he could).

Yesterday I upset my PuG on NA so bad m8. I basically rated them while they were failing to do skips based on their weapon sets and playstyle. They were bashed by mobs and me at the same time :>

There is not even a discussion, every party wants 1 or 2…while you can play without any other, 99% of high level fotm parties won t even attempt a run without 1-2 guardians.

Based on experience, I can say that the reason why they want a guardian is because they are bad and want to be carried. You might not want that.

Go with a dps build in AC with an unexperienced party.
Don t use chat (or be sure pugs aren t good enough to do what you tell them).
If you succeed, then AC is easy.

If you don t, then it could mean tricking AI (calling it AI is even too much) is easy.

People solo AC my boy. Add 4 meat shields pugs, it changes from soloing to carrying.

So I’ll share my experience with you guys.

From farming like Vol said to I had about 100 of each tier 6. I had a left over gift of exploration and farming in eotm got me quite some karma and badges. I made my 77 clovers in one go for my next leggie about a month ago.

Two weeks ago I thought I wanted to make Twilight as I already had Sunrise, in order to unlock it and sell Eternity.

So It took me 1 week to make 1Kg, sadly I wasn’t lucky at the forge with 700g of exotics. I thus remade 1Kg the week after to buy everything I needed. It took 24hrs for all my buy orders to fill, and a hundred SP to get tier 6 and lodestones the cheap way. After I had all of this I farmed a bit more in eotm for my last 40 obsidian shards, but as Balthazar is almost contantly bugged, I carried in low level fractals to grab relics + used 21 laurels.

Borrowed 600g from a rich guildie and with my own 500 left over I bought Dusk at 1Kg yesterday (said guildie got it at the MF 4 hours ago though :s).

Crafted Twilight, account bound it, insta-made Eternity at 3 or 4 am GMT+1. Sold it at highest b/o which was 3,3Kg, which after fees and reimbursing my guildie was 2,4Kg

So I got a twilight skin + 1kg at the cost of my sunrise. Definitely worth it.

Was it any of you guys that I sold it too ?

As I was wandering in the dry lands of the Charr territory, I stumbled upon a strange structure tearing up the ground. I had heard stories about the remnants of the City of Ascalon, but I wanted to see it with my own eyes, and I thus decided to let myself fade within the shady ruins of what was once the Gem of all of Tyria. As I started fending off some of the monsters that made this beautiful place their nest, I stumbled upon an old figure that I hadn’t seen in years. Who would have thought I would rejoin with my long lost father in this place so far away from ou little town of Shaemoor… I felt our incredible bound forming again as he told me about all of his adventures as an explorer for the Priory.

We finally ended up taking a picture with our magic to immortalize this blessed time

Samxperiment day 3 :
- Joined a CoE LFG labelled :“P1&2 ZERKER GODS ONLY”
- They wiped at first Alpha.
- My muscles are sore from all the carrying :/

Also got kicked 7 times from an Arah “P2 Zerk, exp, melee Lupi – fast run”. They even blocked me while I tried to explain :/

Made an LFG for SE : “P1&3 AP means nothing, just wear a berserker’s set and perform well” :
- 2 people at 1K AP, 2 between 5-10K
- Monitored party deeps + people’s life with my keen Sam Ajesté Eyes. Guessed one was in soldiers and one had a mix of Knights.
- They were upfront about it : one wore soldier armor and cleric trinkets, the other actually had 3 Cavalier Trinkets.
- They were super nice
