I totally agree with you, but ill personally w8 untill they nerf it or someone find a new (or at least better) way to defeat him, because for me now its just waste of time with 0% chanse to beat him + no reward.

Yes, just like the scarlets invasions, and it was very unrealistic too (scarlet attack a zone (she wants to captute it) and 45 min later even if she is not defeated, she just go away), but it was still doable.

I don’t see any other reason for him just to go away after 15 min, he is there to "to devour and destroy", not to run away after 15 min. It was going to be more plausible if there was something that keeps him there, that he needs to destroy to go away (that we can defend, like in the Greth temple). What do you think, is that going to be better?

There are many things to do on this fight. You can use your shattering build to protect the people that are using the turrets, for example.

and not get enough damage tagged on tequatl to get credit.

Im afraid of this too, i hope the devs will give us some info for the conditions for getting the rewards (sorry for my bad english btw, i hope you understand me)

Im mesmer and i agree, but since i cant really damage him, i just stay back at the turrets and protect them, im killing the fingers and helping to DPS the bone wall if he manages to make it, thats a little more safe (you dont die so much) and you have better fps, be happy

I see that you post this on every thread, stop spaming, i dont know where do you live but for example im my country (Bulgaria), the payment for a normal work for one month is ~170-350 euro (the best jobs go for 500-700 euro max) so not everyone can update his PC frequently

Champions does not drop any loot, so ppl dont have a reason to defend the turrets

Full knight armor mesmer here and the same story, im with this stats (power/precision/toughness) because i wanted make myself a bigger room for mistakes, so if something big hit me ill still be able to blink back and heal, but now with these bosses there is no matter if you are full dps or tank, you die in one hit no matter what…

How about this to be like wvw armors/skins:
You want the skins? → Get them cheap
You want the stats? → Get them with the tokens like they are now

Why solo armor less good, it must be the opposite, since you will do everything by yourself + if you do group dungeon, you can just join at the end of the dungeon and get the reward for doing nothing. ANET made the scarlets playhouse and SAB doable solo so i have hope that they will add some solo dungeons witch will be nice

I really want to see a very dark forest with no minimap allowed, so you must find the way to something, but this forest must be huge, with few houses/camps with torches, in that you can buy stuff, but i want it to be open zone, not like the southsun survival, so you can see other people and go with them + there must be no waypoints, ooh that would be nicee, im thinking on making a new topic in the suggestion forum about this.

This is my Mesmer, i like that armor combo:
ARAH Shoulders
TA Chest and Legs
and the 400 lvl crafting gloves and shoes

I see that colesy is very experienced player and see his point, i was going GS+sword/focus for a while, now im with GS/staff to bring more support to the team with the null field/chaos storm/time warp on one place. Double melee seems good, I may try it, but I like a little more safe play style that gives me more room to do mistakes, so ill go with full knight armor & trinkets for now, maybe later when i get better with FotM i may try your build.

I have asura here that i want to change to human and i really hope that anet will make this possible, no matter how high will the price be, I (and Im sure many many other ppl) will pay to change their race

Yes, the weapons are very small on asura, but its my main char and i love it + its mesmer = i have 3 more clones with that weapon that shoot rainbows, and also the foot effects are really cool, i wish i could change the race to human ( i was going to pay even for 1000+ gems in real money to do that if it was possible) but anet dont want to make that option ;( soo ill make my bifrost for my cute little asura

Soo i play mesmer and recently started playing fotm, now im lvl 8, i have done lvl 10 2 times, and i wonder, is my build good for more higher levels of fractals (20+) and here are my questions about the build:

1. Im using full knights armor (centaur runes) is that runes ok (cuz i like the speed buff on heal), or I MUST have different runes
2. trinkets, what is better:
full knights or mix from berserk/soldiers or something else (I dont want to be condition mesmer)?
3. Traits 20(1,10)/20(2,10)/0/25(2,9)/5 i like them this way, but if there is better, please tell me about it and why its better.
4. Weapons: GS and Staff.
5. Slot Skills: Ether Feast|Decoy|Null Field|Feedback/Blink|Time Warp

Help my mesmer be happy and useful in FotM :)

I have mesmer asura and im going for Bifrost.

There was one bot when i was farming in Orr about a month ago (im sure he was a bot, he was going and killing random mobs while spaming all his spells all the day and he didnt reply to my massages even when i pm him “i’ll report you for botting if you don’t answer”), i reported him every day, about 3 or 4 times and he was still there weeks after that, then i stoped farming in Orr, but im sure he is still there farming all day… so there is no reason to report, just let them farm. Dont think about all the money and good stuff they are getting for doing nothing or you will get upset.

As a condition mesmer i can deal with one “Perplexity Engi” in 1v1, but i was totally surprised of the damage it deals when i had to deal with one for the first time (note that i play only mesmer), but if you dont have condi remove, the engi wins!

+1, I really want to have a toolbar with 2 slots for food, one for minipet and one or two more for things like Ash legion spy kit, Order of Whispers spy kit ect.

I have ~230 queen’s gauntlet entrance tickets, but the arena is too hard for me and i dont want to farm in it, so my question is: Are we going to be able to sell the tickets (like the support tokens)?

80ppl = my CPU melted…Please ANET, before you do this, optimise the game so it uses more of our video cards and less from our CPU, or we will watch some kind of powerpoint slideshow of Tequatl when we fighting it!

Blink- sometimes it teleports me at the same spot where i was (mostly when i’m runing while casting it) = no teleport, and im NOT talking about places in the JPs.

My argument against the scrolls as they are now is that they will very rarely aid the character that is celebrating the birthday. The scroll will most likely be given to an alt.

That’s the most correct explanation about the birthday presents… I’m still waiting for the mystic forge recipe for these scrolls, they are USELESS for at least 70% of the ppl playing this game. and the indentical minis.. WHO THE.. gave you that idea ANET :@

The exploration in GW2 is so well rewarded, that even when you done it once, you still have a reason to make it again with other chars, thats nice, I’ve done it on one char, but i’m doing my 2nd one. GJ to the OP!

Well, i don’t really care about the minipets (i have my raccoon and i dont want and need more), i want to know why do they decide to give us only “up to level 20” scrolls, and not +20 levels ones… these scrolls now are useless for maybe 60-70% of the people who has 1 y o chars. It’s meant to be hard, it will not be interesting if you can complete all the maps easy, and what is that “GW2 makes me rage” have you ever played League of Legends? Not really. I have 4100~ AP, and only have 2 characters. I’ve played since release. It would be very useful if I decide to roll another in the near future. I do not like leveling at all, so anything that reduces time spent leveling is good.

Or if they make an asura gate that teleports you back in time through the mists to Orr, when the gods were still in there and everything was green and beautifull = new zone+city + maybe a dungeon, or maybe a possible new fractal, who knows, its just an epic idea, i always wanted to see how does the Orr look before the Charrs attacked it.

Guild Wars 2 is SO rewarding game, you get rewards for everything you do in it, and they are not small, that’s why i expected much more useful birthday gifts from ANET and disapointed.. a number of identical minis that everyone will have, useless xp scroll and booster… I dont know why, but i still have hope that they will see all the people in the forums and change the presents.
