i have not seen it this year too..

so if the condi builds replace the power builds, how will the mesmer compare with other heavy condi classes (engy and necro). or our role will be more utility based (with the quickness and alacrity things)

Do you think the mesmer PvE builds will chage after HoT release? Will bunker staff mesmers be viable? I would love to be able to play more supportive and tanky builds, I’m bored to play full zerk. Share your thoughts.

So I just made myself an endless plush griffon tonic and I noticed some animation glitches when I’m jumping. The wings are not moving correctly while jumping making it look like the flappy bird. Its kinda cute but I prefer the normal way the griffon is jumping, pls fix, love you, good day

I hate when this happens. Ppl like those must be banned. Also its very stupid to loose all the “/p” chat when you go out of the party… that way you cant even report these ppl. Also (2) add more options to the report system so we can add a note to the report about why are we reporting. The whole system now is very broken and stupid and it makes me rage sometimes.

i’ve done 336 fractal runs = ~ 100 daily chests (at least 80 of them are 10 lvl+) = 0 fractal weapons, 0 asc armor, 0 asc weapons, just a ton of rings…

I have one molten and one bone pick, but i changed them to acc bound before reading that refunds are possible, can I refund the bone pick? because I dont need it now..

So I have a friend that has won a gw2 acc through some kind of giveaway, but he didn’t play a lot and he forgot his email/password, now he wants to reset them, he only knows his activation key, what does he have to do (what information must he provide), to reset them, because we really want to play together.

Every profession has what to offer you, If you love to play PvP/WvW, you can go Any build on mesmer/thief (it’s so fun to play mind games with the other players) and condi necro, if you want to play PvE go warrior/guardian, if you want challange, go Elementalist and maybe engi (i’ve never played engi but i think its hard to play with all these kits) This is my opinion

I just may go and play with full zerk warrior for the all speed dungeon runs, but i hope that they will add new long endgame dungeons that will need the party to have support, like the new TA path but with worthy reward.

Yes, i really want to see changes in PvE, now i’m afraid to say that i’m playing support ele (not full berserker) because they will most likely kick me. Make supporting valuable, now its just “full berserker or GTFO” and there is no reason to play anything besides Warrior/Guardian (and Ele for AC (frost bow)/ Mesmer for CoF (portals) and sometimes Thief and Mesmer for higher levels of fractals)

I absolutely want to see wings with feathers. T3 cultural human armors on guardians + sunrise + that wings = angel witch will be very cool, something like red demon wings will be awesome too, i like and want more backpieces, no matter what are they (wings, quivers, books act. )

THATS IT IM DONE WITH WVW!!! I keep on getting killed because i have 3 seconds delay on my skills, i can’t do anything in wvw, its NOT FUN, i really want to get the achievemnts and the rewards but I wont, the lag is insane……

I’m from Gandara and I was trying to fight with one guardian, but the lag was so big that we missed most of our attacks.. at one moment we just stopped fighting (because there was no reason to continue with this lag), I added him to party and we started laughing and talking about the lag

But seriously, I (and almost everyone from what I see in the chat) have too much lag, I can’t fight, I’m getting disconnected from time to time and i have to wait for another 30-60 min to get back in the borderlands…

I hope that you will fix it, its hard to get the achievments under this conditions. My hope is that in the next patch things will change for good

I’d take a support ele over yet another zerk guy… the contribution and difference they make, specially while pugging with random people is amazing.

Most of the support in this game is hard coded into skills/traits with little scalability from gear. Gearing for anything except dps only prolongs a fight opening the party up to further attacks. A berserker ele played well can support just as well but also deals like 5x more damage so the threat is eliminated faster.

I mean that sometimes they don’t want me only because im ele (im talking about this “Need 4 warriors and 1 guardian speed run” groups that dont want any other class in their party), not that they don’t want me bevause of my gear.

Im using Knights armor + mix of celestial/berserkers trinkets on my ele but with support traits (0/20/0/30/20) with staff, I know my combos and i think im useful in the dungeons + in AC the “Frost Bow” is OP ^^

+1 I’m still regretting for spending that 100g + 10 euro for BLC (35 of them) and get only 7 scraps (i was lucky that I had 3 scraps before that) Its better just to buy the skins from the TP or just exchange the gems for gold…. Now its just not worth it to buy the chests…

I keep on getting kicked from dungeons/fractals when our “party leader” leaves (mostly when there is someone that don’t know what to do), I keep on missing the rewards in the end of the dungeons because our “party leader” left (so you died 10 sec before killing the last boss, the boss dies, the party leader gets the chest and leaves immediatly and you don’t get the chest). It’s stupid, there is no sense for that. I’ve seen more people complaining about this issue so just REMOVE IT, or at least make it so it wont kick everyone when the leader leaves…………..

I bought 35 keys (100g + 10 Euro) too and i got 10 ticket scraps so i made 60 gold of them but its not worth it. BTW look at the gem prices before and after the event started, they dropped so hard

The thing is… those dungeon tokens that you get for doing the dungeon are for level 80 items only, so yeah…. It’s a shame there are no low level dungeons for new players, but yeah… your best bet is to level to 80 then start doing dungeons.

Umm you can buy low level rare armor for the tokens………

He is in the next door, he is like fammily member to me, we have been together all the time, its like giving your little brother to play the game in the next room, however I didn’t give him to play GW2 because i want him to buy it so we can play together, its like “here, try GW1 from my account, if you like it go and buy GW2 so we can play it together” buut he is playing GW1 and he has no money for GW2 for now (he is younger than me so the only way to buy it is his parents) and since i dont play GW1 anymore i decided not to cut his access, i really hope that ANET will not have anything against that but if they have, ill do whatever they say, even cutting his access to GW1, i hope you and anet understands me and thanks for the reply

So I have a very good friend IRL and I gave him my Guild Wars account info (email/pass) so he can play Guild Wars 1 while I play Guild Wars 2, both games are on the same account and they are linked. The problem is that I keep on getting tons of authorization emails every day (3-4-5 or more per day, that look like this “A log-in attempt from the following location is currently awaiting your authorization.” and than the IP/country and the link to accept the log-in attempt). Is it possible that these emails are send to me every time my friend tries to log-in to Guild Wars 1, because i tried changing my passworld and the emails stopped and when i gave the new password to my friend again they started again too (the emails)? The Log-in attemps are made by several IPs, I never accept them but my friend has no problems with loging in Guild Wars 1. Is it possible that my friend has Guild Wars 2 client and tries to login in it every day since the launch of the game? Should i be afraid of something? Or just ignore all the emails? Tell me if you need more information to answer me and i will give it to you + sorry for my bad english.

Ohh I missed the last Halloween and im so excited about this now AWWW

I really liked the new dungeon path, I had the luck to be with awesome guild party + voice chat and we did it. It was so fun, the dungeon was hard, with interesting bosses with great mechanics, very well designed, but everyone were good with their characters. So I hope that you ANET will do more content like this, but dont change the easy farmable dungeons ^^ The only thing that stops me doing this dungeon path again (since I’ve done the achievmets) is maybe the small prize, now its not worth 90 minutes, if you make it a little more rewarding maybe I’ll do it again and again, but that doesn’t mean to cut the rewards on all the other dugeons Soo, that’s what i think about the new dungeon path, I’m waiting for more stuff like this

I think the elemetalists and the guardians (i dont play guardians) are the main suppor rolesin this game, i realy enjoy playing with my ele in dungeons, I can remove tons of conditions, give tons of boons to the party (stacking might, protection, regeneration(that removes conditions), use ice bow/FGS when needed (icebow in AC so OP) + i do a fair amount of damage. Knight armor (runes: 2x monk,water,fire) and a mix of celestial/bersecker trinkets and 0/20/0/30/20 traits

I don’t know how much time have you played, but the skill points are NOT useless, u can use them for making exotic/ascended weapons, lodestones, crafting materials, legendary weapons and WvWvW siege. However i like your idea “1.Make a craft able bottle-o-leveling” or at least bottle-o-expirience, it will be cool, but the insta 80 booster is not a good idea bcause people wont even know their skills at lvl 80, and I’ll be not very happy when i see someone like this in my group while doing dungeons + it takes ~80 hours to level up from 1-80, its much more faster than the other mmos

Im going for Bifrost and i was going to make a topic about other players opinion on its effects because I think they are too small (the footsteps) compeared to the other legendarys too, looks like im not the only one with this opinion.

The world of Guild Wars 2 is so beautiful, but when i play i watch only on my minimap, not on what’s around me, so i miss the most of the beauty of the game, if there was an option to hide the map (i know that there is the ctrl+shift+h, but i want to see my skills/chat ect) so i can just star going without staring at the map all the time and watch everything, going without any direction, just like in Skyrim, the wolrd there was amazing too and it was so much more experiencing, I was in love with the game, guild wars 2 is the same, just help me get my eyes out of the map, i can’t stop watching it while playing.

There was a HUGE topic with this when the first players started to get their bday presents, but there was no reaction from ANET, i was very disappointed of that..
In the other topic there was a coment that i realy liked:

However, they will do nothing about this, they just don’t care :)

why don’t they put a “new asura technology” that is a machine that can change your race, you go in as Human and come out as whatever race you want, to use it you will need a “soul stone” or something like that that will cost 1000-2000 gems (or more) and you must have finished your personal story so there will be no need for change there (i hope so, i dont know what did Anet did with the sync between your race, the personal story and the interact with the other NPCs but i dont think this will be a problem, the race is mostly cosmetic)

If you like the idea feel free to make a new topic with it if you think it will be better and more ppl will see it, i realy hope that anet will make it, i want to change my race on some toons too

+1, i will love to see that, it will be even better if they make a testing zone/room – a small place with bank golem and and an NPC that will show you the makeover window where you can change your hair/body/sex ect. in it where you can “test drive” your new looking character, this zome must be private so there will be only you in it and once you are ready to decide you can click “make changes” and leave the room.

The new ascended armor will come out to the end of the year and there are a lot of people who purchased armor skins that they will want to keep with the new tier of armor and since the only way (for now) is to transmutate the armor I have some suggestions about this:

1. Mystic forge transmutation stones into transmutation crystals (i’ve seen many topics with this suggestion). This will be the perfect time to add this option, many people will be happy.

2. Make the skins that you purchase with gems avalable in HoM for unlimited use, but only for one character that you use the skin item (that you buy from the gem store) on.
3. Give everyone that have purchased an armor skin 6 transmutation crystals for each armor set skin that he bought (the same you did with the legendary weapons).

4. If you don’t want to do any of these (1,2,3) at least make an option to buy 400 gems with 5 euro | 200 gems for 2,5 euro and make the transmutation crystals to be 6/200, not 5/200.

So what do you think about these suggestions, do you think they are possible.

And as you can see im not good at english and this post took me a lot of time to do it so please if there is something that is not currect don’t pay attention to it :)

I apologize if you feel I was attacking you. Apothecary armor is a flavor of the month set for the WvW crowd on a warrior and has had little use before, and will little be seen again after it falls out of favor. I pretty much assumed anybody who had apothecary armor got it due to WvW.

Anything except Berserker’s is a bad idea in pve except from isolated exceptions like Tequatl.

Seems like these type of threads happen a bunch where a guy buys a set of gear for WvW and then wants to do pve stuff and be effective without buying another set. Unfortunately, the playstyle of a warrior in pvp vs pve is drastically different so you’ll really never be competent in either realm with the same gearing.

umm… im just new with warrior, i have rare soldiers armor now and im looking to make a new set, i have never pvp/wvw(just a few times) with him (the warrior)

I play with mesmer in wvw and when i fight with guardian that dont want to die after 5 min fight i just walk away, its a waste of time.

Using Sword/Sword + Longbow would be good much better because you have basically 0 power.

Could go with Clerics (Healing/tough/power), but you’ll still hit like a wet noodle.

I’m using sword/warhorn | GS because i can run fast between the nodes when im farming, I can change them if i do dungeons and since i have no power with this build i focused on condition damage to compensate

So, i’m using my warrior to gather resources (orichalcum, ancient wood etc) because he is very fast and i got an idea, what if i made my warrior with:

Apothecary’s stats armor/trinkets (healing power/toughness/condition damage)
Dolyak runes (toughness/vitality+hp regen)
Traits 0 | 30(1,3,8) | 30(3,9,11) | 10(1) | 0
5 signets for the crit chance
+ hp regen food
Weapons: sword/warhorn | GS

My idea is to have lots of armor+passive health regen, so i can farm nodes witouth to care about the mobs.

So what do you thing about it, will i be able to do dungeons with it, is there any more useful stat combo for my wish?

Please help me with this build with your opinion :)
