While I would love to see sales on bank or inventory tabs (would finally upgrade my characters), they’ll probably be on consumables and things that nobody really uses unless they get them from story rewards or chests.

My impression of the new content notes is that there is indeed intended only to have 1 last new tier. From then gear itself wouldn’t change but the infusions will get stronger and stronger ones. Maybe normal pve will remain static (after ascended upgrade) but dungeons will get harder and harder.
I am not too excited about the new update since it meant all the exotics in my bank just became the old rares. Nevertheless, i will be continuing and see how it goes. Its just a game after all.
All this negative reaction is not without its merit though. Anet wouldn’t stop the update since its already made and announced and after the first time, it will be easier for Anet to make a second or a third additional tier. But the negative reaction will make them think twice.
I only bought 1 because i don’t want to waste storage space.
High lv bots i see nowadays have normal names. But the low lv ones tend to have random names. Rangers are most common followed by warriors. It is not to hard to tell they are bots from their behaviour. They follow a fixed route. Always the same sequence of attack. On the off chance they are down and don’t get revive, they spam attack instead of heal even if they are no enemies.
Just report them when you see them. Their termination wouldn’t be immediate since there are so many reports and Anet has investigate each case. Maybe 1-2 weeks perhaps. Unfortunately, this is just the window the bots need to earn their keep.
Oh i have only ever received like 6 gold spam mail since the start and i havn’t received anything for a month now. I always report the gold mail spam. It should be easier to ban such accounts since there is hard evidence.

Afaik the wizard set light armor is also not available. It is however worn by some risen wizards in orr.

There was a time when city explore completion gave 1c. When people express concern over it, they simply removed it altogether.
The event will probably be on until the next act starts or at least for the whole of that day.
Irritating. They keep you in a battle state and then you walk slow. The mesmer field one is particularly dangerous though so i avoid it whenever possible. I guess it serves it purpose though to show the perils of Orr.
Is there an armour with the same skin as the 'Stalwart's/Slayer's/Caretaker's Armour' you get as a personal story reward at lvl39?

They could still trade in expensive staple items like ectos or whatever. Just like how ectos is treated as currency in gw1. With their vast wealth they could even drive the price up. Then what? Restrict all mails. Then close down the tp?
There is a lack of skill choices atm. Hopefully it will improve as it goes on.
I agree. MF is fine in a farming game like diablo but just bad in a game like gw2. Whatever possessed them to think it is a good idea to include it.
Those normal craftable exotics are affordable enough. Those sets that are out of the 7 will take more effort but should still be within reach. Their are expensive things but you shouldn’t need them to be effective. In fact when i was playing with my alt character at lv50+ now i just give it stuff it pick up himself i didn’t even bother to repair them.
I had played this since the headstart and it had been more or less fun so far. I have never been rich and i don’t know how other players managed to afford those 10s or 100s of gold to buy stuff but i am able to afford my exotic armor and gear. Map completion is especially fun for me as it gave sort of an objective while exploring.
However, I do have things that i dislike.
1) Magic Find. Not using this is too disadvantageous for normal pve thus most everyone will use this once they learn of it and thus greatly restrict diversity. I dislike the concept but even i use it for economic reasons.
2) Transmutation system. The system should be something like a conbination of the pvp locker and hom item transmutations. The current system is too wasteful and most people will be reluctant to use it much despite cosmetic skins being a major part of this game.
3) Double penalty for dying. Repair for dying is fair enough. Paying for teleporting is fair enough. But dying requiring repair and porting fee is not. Dying should give a choice of ressing at the nearest wp for free or any wp for a fee as per normal.
4) Gathering system. Metal pick mining their respective ore with a few exception is easy. But the various woods and plants is just annoying. Please have something like a L1 to L6 beside the name so its easier to choose the right tool. Or better yet abolish the different grades of tools altogether.
5) Veterans and champions do not seem to drop better stuff. Vets i can accept as they really too much more effort to bring down but champions take too much time yet often give nothing.

Ran caudecus manor with my guild explorable for the first time with my guild. 2 guys get 60, 1 get 45, 1 get 30 and i got 15. The system is just really weird.

Champions and for that matter veterans never gave me any better loot than what i had gotten from normal mobs either. All the rare drops had been from normal mobs. I have never gotten an exotic drop in any case though. So maybe its just my luck.
I believe its the exalted armor. Lv80 exotic crafted set. You can try looking along that line.
I saw 1 in caledon forest and he told me to help and so i did. When i get there the event has just been completed. Kittens!
Those dragon events always make me lag like crazy to the point that i am practically a bystander.
The skill of riding has been lost when the last of the dolyak rider got turned into stone.
I am not disagreeing with you on the exchange rate of badges and exotics. Especially since that it is harder to get badges nowadays and more so when your server is being crushed. There need to be better ways of getting badges or the price to be reduced considering its not a particularly good skin.
I would like to point out to you that that pow/vit/tough is available in the 42k karma set albeit incomplete. According to the wiki, it is also available as dungeon reward but i havn’t confirmed it myself.
Yes, its incomplete. Same as the pow/vit/tough set. I have already posted about it but Anet did not leave any comments on it. Perhaps Anet wanted the players to grind some other set and transmute into this set.
Its easy to make it hard for yourself. Just self impose the punishment. Each time you die, you can delete the character or destroy the piece of equipment that was damaged. That way you get to enjoy your punishment while other people enjoy their fun game.
I am not sure what triggered that. I was just moving across the the land gathering and killing mob and it popped up.
From what I hear certain mobs don’t reward loot (not sure about exp) for the time being, Risen Grubs included.
That might have been it. I seem to recall a risen grub among the mob that tried to swarm me.
Never more than 21g in cash at any point in time. I always seems to spend them before it reach the point. I only earn about 1-2g per day.

I agree. I am quite surprised that the armors cannot be filtered by light/medium/heavy.
I would like to suggest that there be an alternate form of transmuting whereby through the use of a consumable item it will destroy the item entirely but unlock the skin to be taken unlimited for free or at a small fee. It will work similar to the HOM skins.
Full server restart will probably frustrate some people in the process of doing the event. The second option seems better. Maybe there could be a auto check where if a skill point/DE hasn’t been completed in over 12 hours or so, it will reset itself.
1) Pretty easy to spot. No armor, teleporting everywhere, attacking empty space when DEs is not active.
2) Normally it doesn’t but when enough of them camp a DE hotspot it becomes hard for normal players to earn more just the completion award and really quite ruin the play experience from the DE.
3) Can’t really comment about this.
Exotics may have the same amount of stat points but the combinations are limited. Crafting is the easiest and cheapest way but it only have 7 combinations. If 1 of them is the one you wanted then you are fortunate. For the rest they have to grind the karma, tokens, gold or badges for it.
I am currently working on my karma at just a few k a day. Still need some 70k for a full set. Gold i am earning maybe only 1-2g per day. Tokens and badges are negligible.
The one i have a real problem is the one where you have to use the slow mortis verge to protect the queen. The npcs allies all died and then the undead just gang up on me.
Maybe they have monthly achievement too.
As far as i know when i get knock down i am as good as dead. I am unable to do anything before i take another tick of damage and die. Did it once, took perhaps an hour, broke all armor and got no chest. Never did it again.
I kind of understand the frustration of the respawn time especially in orr. I am not using high dps build so it takes a little longer to kill and as a mesmer it makes it worse with the kiting/ clones and bouncing attacks that that attract the neighbouring mob as well. There are times when the incessant stream of mobs just makes me exclaim “ridiculous”. I had to retreat to a safer place ( hard to find in Orr) or break out my elite and hope it works.
That said though the main culprit of dying is still lag and gravity.
There are some things regarding armor that i would like to have some answers from Anet. I know they are probably not high on priority with the current problems in the game. I just need to know the intentions of Anet.
1) Will the magician set get the proper icons for its helm and mantle piece?
2) Will the cabalist set get the correctly named mantle.
3) Will the wizard and tribal armor set be available in pve?
4) The armageddon set has 3 types of stats spread among 6 vendors. Is it intended that some types would not have the full set. (e.g. Light pants do not have the power/ vit/tough combination)
5) The devout set is a karma set that is also partially craftable with karma receipe. Why make it partial?
6) Why have 2 similar (acolyte’s) names for 2 sets of armor.
Some of these are minor but it has been bugging me since i intend to collect the sets of armor.
