regarding the sylvari, i wouldn’t call them “expendable soldiers”, but your theory sounds like mine. i’ve always seen the sylvari as sort of tyria’s antibodies against the dragons. besides all the reasons you mentioned, they also have dragon immunity on their side, meaning if they die fighting dragons, they won’t become minions. they fight dragon minions on a level playing field.

Funny you should say that cos i have a similar theory Except that i think the dragons are the anti-bodies. The slyvari are immune because they are so new. We know that humans are not native to tyria but perhaps none of the races are really natives. Maybe they all came from the mists at some point accidently or not.

From the omadd’s clue , i think scarlet met the original persona of the slyvari. Their creator made them for a purpose but due to some reasons, broke free of it. Perhaps the nightmare court also shows signs of this but not as crazy as scarlet.

In retrospect, slyvari are the perfect expendable soldiers. They multiple in massive numbers from a single seed, combat capable as soon as they are “borned”. They are capable of having an intellect rivaling the best of the common races. So i think they were created as soldiers but failed to be used before their creator lost.

I believe abaddon is involved but that wouldn’t fit the other clues that we were given regarding scarlet desire to fight a massive being with her marionette.

All she has to do is to directly attack The grove with her massive army. She has more manpower and firepower than all the allied forces combined.

I just hope anet have a really good explanation for her supervillain feats.

It has been a long time since i did my explorer(8x) and i no longer had any impression of any particular hard vista but i do have an area which i fail to discover how to access to.

The cliffs in iron marches near the fire shaman drakin cinderspire sometimes spawn platinum nodes but i have no idea how to reach it. I tried going from the waterfall and i even tried going from the branded zone further east but no path.

That is an ideal state. Unfortunately, there will always be players who is playing the event for the first time, have insufficient ability, crappy load time or various other reasons. The uneven distribution of players doesn’t help either.

The marionette event would have been fine if Anet had allow people who finished their platforms to help out on the other platforms.

Ultimately, the acidic environment is a result of Anet fight design decisions.

How about those veteran novices in the cliffside fractal. I always wondered how they could be veterans and novices at the same time.

Surely you guys exaggerated. My 2yr old off the shelf PC only takes 1-2 mins to load into LA on the first loading in of the day. Subsequent times are even shorter. Sure sometimes it the game fails to load in at all but its more because of my crappy internet connection than anything else.

Which means she has no stats and runes from armor. No wonder she died so easily.

I am musically inept so i can only get the notes by seeing the dots. The musically inclined people should have no problem playing the song without actually paying much attention to the dots which i think is how some people is able to get perfect scores on the songs.

Have you seen the wildlife in Tyria? They are super fearless. If you even hit them once they will fight you to the death regardless of the odds or circumstances. This pillars are nothing to them.

Its great. I already made back the gold for leveling craft to 500 and the cost of the ascended armor by selling Damask.

I will craft it. Its not as if there are better things to spend the resources on.

3 quartz is the norm for me since the start. I only gotten a charged 3 times a the 5 quartz <10 times. And i mine them everyday.

Everyone started out new and played the game just fine though. All they need to do is a play more.

Most people who wanted the mini mr sparkles are glad to get it this way. The alternative is not getting it or a $100 ebay purchase. They also have to be fair to those who got it the first time round. So please leave mr sparkles out of this.

Mini collectors should be aware by now mini collecting is expensive. The amount of gold i spend on minis is more than enough to buy a lengendary.

I think there is an over reaction here. A lot of people have been complaining T3 cost too much and/or cultural armor (and order armor) should be open to everyone. Now there is an opportunity yet people selfishly want to prevent others from getting it. Think of it as the first step to getting other culture armors.

We would have found out scarlet is responsible for giving abaddon advices that ultimately leads to his downfall. She got there by time traveling as a result of the thaumanova explosion.

She is also responsible for the dragons but that is another story.

Its a stable timeloop whereas the explosion cause her to go back in time so that she cause the explosion that made her go back in time. … maybe.
