And if they still don’t like the mode , they still have to play it anyway if they wanted to complete the daily. I don’t pvp and i don’t like wvw even though i did do it for sake of world completion and achievements. Luckily pve has enough daily to complete daily by itself but others might not like it too much.

Anet just don’t seem to get that some people only like 1 mode of the game. They keep trying to make the players “like” the other modes. Sigh. What is supposed to be more options became less options. Going backwards anet.

Nope, the old traits are locked as well (even on characters created before the update). Either the statement that “existing traits will be available on existing characters” was an outright lie, or nobody in the implementation team was told about it.

I didn’t know pre existing chars also had to unlock the old traits.(Havn’t got the chance to play yet.) If so , anet messed up. Hopefully they can fix it soon.

Gw2 isn’t supposed to be that kind of game where you get progressively better gear. End game is promoted as getting more skins and cosmetic items for your character. ( Though the designs is somewhat underwhelming) I think it would be better if you recognise this and start looking for other games to save yourself the disappointment.

They must really like your name or something. I only get 1 every few months. I always blocked and reported them.

Once you get used to the layout, each city doesn’t really take that much more time than any other city. So just do them all.

If the system works as advertised then it would be much better than the current system already. Can’t really ask for more than this.

If anyone is worried about charges then they can try farming for transmutation stones now and convert them when the update comes. Currently stones are pretty much wasted items since few people stay at sub lv 80 for very long with the levelling being so fast in this game.

They might not even recognise you. Its not as if your face appeared on tv or anything.

Most challenges in this game have become race against time. I think its unlikely to change as they seems to think its more fun for events to fail this way. So better get used to it.

Poor achievement design but just let it go. It is less stressful this way.

Your leveling speed is quite ok. Although the first few levels are generally easier to level, it doesn’t take much longer to level at the higher levels. That is to say the rate of leveling is pretty constant. So you could probably reach lv80 in a few more weeks or so. Probably faster once you get used to the game.
The way i did it was to first finish map complete on all the starter cities (LA is currently dangerous though) then go to the starter zones 1 by 1. Map completion (hearts, poi, vista) give quite a bit of exp as do gathering( mining, logging and harvesting).

Since you heard train i assume you must be in queensdale. Train in this case means the champ farm. When players do this farm they tends to run from 1 point to another some faster than others so it looks like a line of players hence a train. At your level, if you choose to join them, your loot wouldn’t be great but exp gain might be faster. Probably more boring as well though.

You don’t have to save the skills points( blue tokens). You will have enough to learn all the skills if you so wish. But since supply at lower level is less you might just want to pick out the ones that you think are good first.

There are no rules against afking.

Now that scarlet’s arc is more or less finished, lets talk about what is going to happen now.

Will the captain’s council be dissolved for their gross negligence and incompetence?

Will punitive actions be taken against the aetherblades, molten alliance and toxic alliance?

Will the Grove (pale tree) be held responsible for withholden information regarding scarlet’s plan.

What is the diplomatic consequences of the tengu shooting at refugees and rescuers during the invasion?

Such a cliche storyline. Its as if anet just took the speculation and say “hey, why not?”

The problem I have with it is that the Lionguard has NO authority over Evon right now. None what so ever. They’re in Vigil Keep. They’re not in any holding of Lion’s Arch nor the Lion Guard. They’re are under the protection of the Vigil, taking up space in on Vigil ground in Kryta proper. Evon may be a resident of Lion’s Arch, but right now, he’s not and for all they no his residence doesn’t even exist any more. As such he has no reason to be beholden to anything they say.

Evon is a citizen of LA even if LA is currently occupied. As a citizen, he has to follow LA’s law. And LA’s law allow them to conscript citizens under martial law. Once conscripted, they are soldiers. Any soldiers who desert are punishable by execution.

It doesn’t matter that they are staying at Vigil’s space at all. It’s like saying soldiers who desert in enemy or neutral territory cannot be punished.

Gw1 is definitely not the same as gw2. I liked gw1 but gw2 isn’t bad either. The main problem is there really isn’t much to look forward to. No new unlockable skills or traits. Supposedly skins should be something to look forward to but after the phoenix light armor there isn’t any more good ones.

Staff guardian makes tagging mob for loot very easy.

Indeed, the escort achievement is particularly frustrating. Having done them multiple times yet still remain at 5/6, i am no longer sure which one is the one i actually failed to get.

Suggestion to Anet. Next time you have achievements like this , please indicate on the achievement the parts cleared and the parts yet to be cleared.

Probably because many players complained that they keep getting back pieces but could only use 1 at a time. Unlike pvp where skins can be stored, in pve extra backs just take up more space. So they gave us the material instead and crafting the back is optional.

I like that it is always boss thumper. Doing the things you listed is just boring whereas the marionette fight is good.

Not really. It doesn’t take too long to max level an alt anyway. I just do the hearts and map completion. By the time i reach orr, it is lv80 already but probably still in greens.

Switchable stat would make ascended worth it price tag more. However, that will make legendary seem less worth it. A compromise will be for ascended stat to be changeable through a npc merchant that charges about 1g per item. Low enough that it wouldn’t hurt too much to change build but high enough that players cannot simply switch on a whim.

It will just be temporary. We will retake LA soon enough.

In my opinion, we are just part timers so the failing really isn’t our responsiblity. We are just called whenever they need an extra hand. While we are supposedly the commander of the pact we are kept out of the loop most of the time. I think we got demoted sometime after zhaitan’s defeat.

The pact and lionguard had lots of opportunity to investigate scarlet’s plan. Plenty of opportunity to capture the enemy and interrogate them. They even had Mai Trin in custody. Refuse to talk for fear of their life? Just execute them and call their spirits for interrogation.

Or we found out scarlet have also somehow recruited the tengus to help her.

If you don’t like to stack then don’t stack. Why do you want others to follow your restrictions?

I suspect Evon is a scarlet collaborator. In the midst of the chaos, he will absconded with all the items from the trading post and disappeared. He already prepared a total makeover kit to assume a new identity.

Maybe she just have about a dozen of them each but she cloned them with her vast intelligence. Seeing as it is possible to make holograms and hallucinations real, it is not too far a stretch.
