I love Turtle Beach sound, but if you’re doing voice chat be sure to avoid any headsets that play back your mic into your earphones. I have some Turtle Beach ones that do that and while it seems convenient because you can hear what you sound like, what it really keeps doing is causing a weird echo many times when I use VOIP because the headphones are not soundproof and some sound leaks out that the microphone can pick up. this voice feedback irritates me as well, but you can turn it off on all Turtle Beach models. this is the 3rd headset from this brand Iv owned and they have have been able to have that turned off

I use Turtle Beach Stealth 450, because theyre wireless. i have some significant hearing loss but I can hear almost everything quite crisp and clear with these, and the wireless is nice for being able to walk around sometimes

I started the Kudzu precursor journey, and step 1 was expensive but fun, since the collection actually sent you on a journey and required me to do new things I wouldnt have done, like JP. It was a bit expensive with the ascended mats, but I did my math and it sounded like it was going to be cheaper than buying the pre on the TP for 700 gold

NOPE. Step 2 is no collection, the “collection” is just a bunch of endless kittening crafting of billions of kittening stick and strings. Hundreds of gold and days of farming later, and Im still only a third of the way through. Who the kitten thought it was a good idea to mouth the words “epic journey” and “discovering the soul of your weapon” and turn around and shaft the community with a kittening grindfest that takes months/years, or costs upwards of 1000 gold? Comparable to the market price my kitten .

Has anyone done this lately? I am on phase 3 of Vorpp and the timing is atrocious, but when I do get everything lined up and a generator destroyed, and Vorpp right on top of it, there is no option to disarm him (no F actions available at all) and he immediately rebuilds a generator and moves on. I cannot proceed.

Iv tried doing these solo, and Iv tried doing them with 1 other friend, and I keep failing every requirement and losing the achievs. Anyone else also need these achievments that would be willing to help each other out?

there are exactly zero mandatory JP in the entire game. so no, you are not forced into doing them, and you can avoid them.

to the OP: if you are looking at reaching level 80 as being “done” with the game, and that being the final goal, you are looking at the entire game wrong. in the grand scheme of Things To Do, 1-80 is literally 1% of the available content. Do some WvW, do some hearts, do some PvP, explore what there is and level up along the way, and then you get to the real meat of the game, the good stuff. Do not, on the other hand, do everything wrong and blame the game for you being bored because you are deliberately ignoring 99% of the available content.

Is there a resource or guide anywhere on this, what the actual cost is to do the precursor journey vs buying it on the TP? I have checked the wiki for a few but the guides are incomplete and many ingredients have no information so I cant factor in those costs.

I have looked at dulfy and youtube and all information is 3 years old and still doesnt really explain to me how Im supposed to do this. Is there a trick? I have 2 correct notes (by sheer dumb luck?) and I cannot imagine getting 500!

I run a condi rev with no Herald and I love it. im not squishy, i can go toe to toe with many things in HOT, and its fun.

I am getting my herald facets deactivating constantly, for no reason. In combat, out of combat, moving, standing, mining, idling, whatever. Sometimes it will do it when I WP, sometimes it wont. Very annoying. Please fix.

I am currently running carrion with Balthazar runes, no sigils (yet), Corruption down mid up, Devastation up down up, and Retribution mid down down. Using Demon and Assassin. Hammer with a switch of Mace Ax. I think thats all the details

Wondering if my build looks okay or if Im missing somethign dramatic, and also what Sigils would be best for my weapons. I was thinking Frailty and Bursting, but am open to suggestions from wiser people than me. Im new to the game and have a hard time “reading” builds. Thanks very much in advance

After the 250 HP update, people won’t get their Elite Specs right away. 250 HPs still require time and effort for most people to get.

In fact what we’re seeing is that only “hardcore” players who likely don’t have jobs, or are students, or are generally people with a lot of time spare to play this game were the only ones who were able to unlock their Elite Specs straight away.

People such as yourself who make childish non-arguments towards “whiners” (and by “whiners” you mean the majority of people criticising a legitimately bad game feature) most likely fall into the above category, and as such ignorantly fail to recognise the fact that many players cannot afford more than 1-2 hours per night to play this game due to real life responsibilities that consume a lot of time.

Many of the, as you say, “whiners” on here have in fact been saying the same thing: keep the “earning” aspect there, but reduce the unnecessary grind. Not a single person on here has asked for their Elite Spec to be handed to them straight away. Grow up.

Complete rubbish. My first character/main had 213 after Map Completion and thats with maxing everything. at 250 he could have Druid almost immediately. An Elite spec, unlocked, 20 minutes into the release of the new content. thats bullkitten, thats too easy. it should be HARD. you shouldnt come out the gate at 90%. 250 HP to an elite is too easy and I hate that its to easy. Its not special anymore, it doesnt show you mastered Maguuma, multiple zones, and put 40 hero loci of work into your character. it cheapens it.

they are pretty experienced guild leaders. a group without me ran it today and the two leaders were present and did everything exactly the same as when we run it together, and two newbies got their achievment for that.

what are the specifics that are maybe why we are getting it wrong?

I have done aetherpath at least 20 times in the last few weeks, all with the aim to get this achiev, and every time my team pulls it off perfectly, with no one dying, and the boss dying first, and I have never gotten the achievment. Is this a known issue or what?

I have also been disconnecting in every event. Im not even going to try any more. Theres no point in trying to build 20 stacks to get good stuff when you are just going to lose it all every time.

Every event I get disconnected from the game server at least once, typically when I have managed to get 6 or 7 or 8 stacks. Of course, when I relog, my stacks are gone. Getting really sick of trying really hard to get Blooms for the event prizes, and being smacked in the face over and over again. Its to the point where I cannot get any rewards at all now, with the event ending tomorrow and every single attempt ending in a piddly 5 blooms. Really disappointed in how poorly planned and executed this event was.

I had downloaded the computer version (not the mobile version, as my phone was in the other room and Im lazy lol) to get that neat dragon mini. A few days later I uninstalled the authenticator app from my laptop. Fast forward to now, I have a new computer I am trying to install GW2 to and its unable to verify me on the new computer. No biggie, Ill just remove the authenticator from my account. Turns out I cant, without two codes that I need to enter, and I dont know how to get those. Do I need to reinstall the computer app and if so, how do I find it? Googles website is only showing me the mobile app not the regular one, and I dont remember how I got it in the first place! My heads a bit fuzzy with all the myriad things I have to do on this new computer so I apologize if Im being a bit thick

I am about to embark on a purchase quest for something better than my ancient sad laptop, in order to play vidya gaemz better. What are the things I need to look for for playing GW2 and other such games on High settings or maybe even *gasp Ultra? Budget is about $600? and building it myself isnt an option. I was able to get the first tier easily enough, but then immediately after it stuck and stayed at 235,885/500,000 and it hasnt budged since. I have not died in any way shape or form, or left this map. I havent even used a waypoint to travel within the map, I have walked everywhere.
