One of the best things about the original was tinkering with builds , compiling things from your primary and secondary skills to create something to test, either it worked, or it didn`t but at least you`d tried it.

I`m growing increasingly def up with the lowest common denominator, lets make it simple for the kiddies to play build system in this game. Equip this weapon, you can only do this with it …..crap ! Press the same skills repeatedly cause thats all you can do with this, crap !

This is a Sin/Nec build i was working on , just look at all those dagger skills you who`ve only played GW2 . Every class was like this, and once you put one together that worked, you saved the template, all it`d need to reinstate a build, including all the skill stats, was cut n paste the template code in.

Builds for every scenario, every class , different weapons, primaries and secondaries , real gaming .

This just in! Guild Wars 2 is a different game than Guild Wars!

No. actually read what I said before replying please. It was not a queen jenna mini. that happened like last week, on my actual 1st Birthday of characters.

Last year around this time I was a fresh little nooblet with maybe a week in gametime. I got some kind of birthday gift due to the games anniversary. Cant recall what it was. A dye? something. I notice theres nothing this year, so far. Was that a one off or have we just not reached that point in time?

So on the day i decided to buy gems, this happens?
I had just started playing, was doing some Bloodstone fen for masteries while waiting for my brother.
So pretty much a few minutes after spending money on GW2, i got booted of the game, having barely played. Lost my chance at progressing Year of Ascension, whatever i did manage to get is now lost.
So sum of my GW2 play session today, 35€ less on my bank account and nothing on my game account.
But for me the worse is losing the chance at progressing the Year of Ascension metas. It was already a pretty impossible task to do 3/4 of them in this season alone, not lessened by the BAD matchmaking i’ve been getting.

All this to say that Arena net needs to throw us some love back, and give us back some amend for our loss.

dude youre losing a couple HOURS of gameplay. they are rolling back to THIS MORNING. at PATCH. which was like noon eastern time. chill out.

like i said, i looked at the wiki. none of the events match the ingame text. one tells me i have to escort ogres to the blighting tree? which is in kittening DRAGON STAND for cryin out loud. what the kitten? i did the entire frog events and 1 in the middle just didnt happen at all, so there goes that one. its kittening me off, th entire kittening thing

Can someone please kittening explain to me how this works and which event is which? I looked at wiki and dulfy and none of the event titles match up with ANYTHING on my achievment list ingame. I even sat through 4 TD events in 2 different lanes hoping to accidentally get the things I needed, and nothing happened that checked anything off my list. Wtf? how do you kittening make sense of this

Do two PvE dailies, and 1 of the super easy brainless WvW or PvP ones (guard killer, capture a point, or the pvp daily rooms where you get free easy wins)

this isnt hard. you dont have to enjoy or be good at or invested in wvw or pvp to get those dailies done. there are multiple ways you can do this

is anyone else having trouble with this? done the fire elemental boss in ascalon, and the fire elemental world boss 5 times today, none have dropped this item. is it just a normal drop or am i doing something wrong?

i reached that right before the new bloodstone fen hit, and now i have that to keep me going. i also started all the legendary journeys, so i always have things to go kill and pretty cliffs to stand at and sigh dramatically into the wind like a starving artist

It does get brought up a lot but you are ignoring the arguments brought up in this thread that you can make a new race part of an expansion. Normally I’d forgive you for not reading but I brought that up in the very first response and it was brought up multiple times after that. No need to redo everything.

backpacks have never been dye-able. this isnt something new or unique to the shining blade backpiece. there have been several matching gliders/backs that have color discrepancies. none of these are bugs or glitches.

play something else if you dont like the pet. the pet IS the special mechanic of the ranger. like stances are the special mechanic of the revenant

you knew before getting the bloodstone visage that helms do not work with outfits. i dont know why you want to pretend you were shocked and outraged, and rant about something that has literally never changed and that you knew would happen.

its also a testing ground for new mechanics like aerial combat. i forsee a volcanic battle where to land is death

On the topic of Legendaries – I heard somewhere that it takes months to even a year to develop a single legendary item. If that’s true, and with MO disbanding the team in charge of the production, we won’t see anything new for a minimum of a year. By then, the Cantha expansion will hit.

Worst post ever. I love the extra mastery points because I fail miserably at the vast majority of the mini games, and am incapable of doing them for the silver or gold needed to actually max out. Im sitting at the last tiers of 2 things and need 24 more points and guess what? Im SOL. this at least gets me closer, and maybe when they release more episodes I can finally finish maguuma masteries entirely.

most are not “severely disoriented” by these effects. im sorry they are affecting you so much, but youre very much in the minority and most people just see them as lights, not things that physically affect them.

backs have never been dyable, this isnt new. if you didnt know about it after all these years, thats your problem. they shouldnt refund you.

…and since this isn’t my first or only MMO and my son is a programmer I know that is total unequivocal cow droppings! The one and only real reason is because outfits are far simpler, cost effective and make more money in the gem stores then armor, period. You can choose to believe whatever is thrown out for reasons but don’t expect everyone else to accept it at face value.

Armor sets, when Anet still put forth the effort to make them, were priced the same as the outfits are.

and now that they are so many more, that makes thousands more combinations that have to work. it baffles me that you people dont seem to understand that they have to make it work and not clip with EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE COMBINATION OF 6 PIECES + WEAPONS + BACKPACK. thats millions of combinations that they have to troubleshoot and match. what part of “this isnt feasible anymore” is too hard to freaking grasp?
