Once you have chosen a skin it gives you one to that character your on AND it puts it into your Achievement panel so that you can give them to other characters. Also as stated above you get more than one of them every few chests. Pick one that you know you want and then pick another later and then pick another one after that and so on and so forth….
But But But I can’t I am a completionist.
I have a OCD issue where I must finish things. And it annoys me badly when I dont finish things. And I cant walk away cause I have to finish things. I have missed a few things through being away and it makes me very sad and stressed
And yet the cutscene in the latest patch still looked terrible. And the amount of bugs reported in the new content is rather high. So I wouldn’t call it polished at all. That’s fine, my opinion is mine.
My main point was that people wont have time to do it all, especially if its like 48 achievements a month. On top of any others people might be doing. Or any other new ones Anet add in as well.
Also something that occured to me after my first post is that the teams will burn through ideas way to fast. Also and this wont seem the case at first but it will happen, players will burn out on content. Might take 6 months, might take a year but people WILL find they can’t keep up playing new content constantly every 2 weeks.
I didn’t need to watch the video the text said what was needed to be known. I did also read about the 4 groups but im not sure where I read that bit. To make you happy I’m watching the video now.

The previous system of new content once a month was perfect. We had time to get through it and didnt have to rush to make sure we got all the achievements while not enjoying what you have crafted with the latest update, yes if some of us are faster than others at completing the content you could argue that they could be bored.
And yet people with jobs or kids can’t spend 2 weeks doing the content only to just finish in time to have the next set of content come out and have to rush through it all again and AGAIN miss the beauty of what you have crafted.
One of the ways you can slow people down and buff the content to a month is to do what you did with the storylines of the Aetherblades, release it on set days of the month, or as you have done with the crystals in the Zephyrite content.
The other thing you can accomplish by doing this is to have 3 – 4 teams working on a 2 to 3 month cycle each which gives the teams real time to polish and bug test your games. I bring to comment the Zephyrite cutscene, in my opinion it was one of the ugliest things you have done in this game, I can see what it should have been and yet because of the lack of time it wasn’t. It wasn’t clean and clear like all the other cutscenes you have done, instead it was blocky and blurry and didn’t look anywhere near the normal standard you put forth.
Again I please ask you stop and reconsider the 2 week cycle and return to a monthly cycle.

Nope. Please dont, it add’s elitism and makes people demand certain builds and if you dont have it you cant do game content with them. Which is the total opposite of what Anet are going for with this awesome game. Wanna know what armor they have on? Ask them.
I should amend my suggestion slightly… As we don’t have quests as such and really we don’t want them added to the game. Instead make specialized Heart Event people where when you complete the task you can purchase a skill for your character and it’s profession. Make the Heart a little tougher than other Heart Event’s and I think it will be fun.

It Should be if there are 5 people in the group 4 have to agree…. if 4 then 3 and so on….
Also It should be if anyone leader included leaves the dungeon you get to stay until you are finished doing what you need to do
But what if I want to kick 3 out of 5 real quick like (I have hehe)?. Don’t work for me, I don’t want to leave to start a new group. Actually I’d like to be the leader and have all the power to kick at will. Sounds better to me, forget votes.
You say that until the day your not leader and 2 people either leave the group before you get your chest or daily bonus from FotM and you miss out on them completely.
Happened to me just recently. 2 people in the same guild got their reward and then closed the FotM making it so the other 3 people didn’t get anything.
I activated the Bounty Hunt Training and all that came up was “The Bounty Hunt Training has begun”.
Nothing else till 15 mins later it said “The Bounty Hunt Training has failed”
Is there a icon in the map that you are supposed to go to? Cause I sure didn’t get any clue…
One or two days ago at 11.10pm I finished a FotM lvl 10.
I was experiancing lag. We killed the Maw boss and as he always does did his big group kill move.
I couldn’t get to a crystal in time so I died.
I had 2 people come over to res me before they got the chest. As I came up the leader and his guild mate left the group which in turn booted the rest of us making us miss both the chest and the daily bonus.
This is an unfair thing to happen. I would like the items I didnt get and I would like the devs to fix the issue of being forced to leave before we are finished.
The idea should be you are free to stay until you want to leave. Also the idea of voting to finish the dungeon needs to be fixed as well if 5 people are in the group 4 people need to agree, if 4 people then 3 people and so on….
Again I want my items that I played for and I think the other 2 people deserve theirs as well.
Life happens…. Breathe in and breathe out….. the only thing that would count is if you had a precursor drop and got a rollback….

My basic idea is this. Hopefully I haven’t missed a post from someone before.
In a upcoming expansion allow us to buy new skills for our current weapons.
IE: a Rangers Longbow skills are: 1 Long Range Shot. 2 Rapid Fire. 3 Hunters Shot. 4 Point Blank Shot. 5 Barrage.
Say I dont like Rapid Fire and Point Blank Shot. Instead I purchase or even better have to do a skill quest where I get to choose 1 new skill upon completion. (You could make quite a few story skill quests out of this).
I get say Glass Arrow and Debilitating Shot and in the weapon skills tab I get to move them in.
So now my Skill set looks like this: 1 Long Range Shot. 2 Glass Arrow. 3 Hunters Shot. 4 Debilitating Shot. 5 Barrage.
Now I think to keep things balanced the setup would be if you wanted to change skill 2 you have to get a new 2 skill you couldn’t put skill 4 into skill 2 otherwise people would go for the strongest hitting skills they could. That bit might be hard to understand as I know what I want to say but can’t seem to type it out right.
Anyway this would give us more in the way of skill choice for weapons and also give us a skill quest that has been missing so badly since Prophecies. ( I don’t know about anyone else but I truely loved getting my skills via quests and missed it so much in the following expansions).
For shame….
This is totally ridiculous.
That we can’t get into our own dragon events because of all the guests on our own servers.
Anet you need to please tell us that this is going to be fixed and not by cutting down the chances of Rares again.
One of the best suggestions I heard was put all guests in an overflow and then IF there is room left over allow them to travel to our main….

Your end of game skins from GW’s 1 were to fight for. Some of your armors here in GW’s2 are to cry over. The temple armors from Orr are a major sadness. All the same look. Only the Runes are different.

And while I do really like some of the armors, some are really sad. And that includes the HoM armor.
These definately should have been proper GW’s 1 armors. Not whatever you put in there.
I think the armor should get a revamp in looks cause at the moment it doesnt look anything much better than early in-game armor….. It should look like some of the armor from Guild Wars 1…. FoW armor or 15k Elite armor from the end of games…… It was suposed to prove that you put some effort into the first game….. You can buy Primeval armor through the Gem store but only for heavy classes, I would like that look for my ranger not the poor design choice light or medium classes get…… Some of the weapons should have been moved across from GW’s 1 to GW’s 2…. IE: Icy Dragon Swords…. Eternal Weapons…. Celestial Weapons…. To be honest those who got the 30 points really got ripped off for about 80% of the items that should have looked UBER…. Those who got 50 points got really ripped off cause we were told that the GWAMM title would have a UNIQUE reward for completing it….. And all we got was the title here in GW’s 2…. Most places don’t say you get a reward or have been changed to say you don’t, but I remember tem saying we would…… I’m trying to find it and if I can I will add it in later…..

I find nothing wrong with PVE in this game…… Either you’re doing it wrong or you’re in need of more practice…… You want to talk about “broken PVE games” try playing Aion…. 2 years before the first main fix that actually made it worse and it took a further 6 months to fix that….. that really didnt fix it either roughly 4 years after launch and that game was STILL broken….
I hear Terra isnt great…. I hear Rift is frustrating….
GW’s 2 is a fantastic game that is fairly well balanced and challenging at times…. Yes it has some things to be improved apon but nothing close to what you are hinting at….. It sounds more like you are trolling….. Just play the game….. If you are stuck or having problems try wiki’ing it or ask people

My issue with the Dodge achievement is that it seems to go against one of them most basic ideas of Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars 2, as it was built, encourages players to always help each other. If we see somebody fighting a mob, we jump in and help and everybody gets something. Nobody loses experience or loot or anything if somebody jumps in and helps them. This is one of the most basic points of Guild Wars 2.
But now, we have an achievement line that changes that. Other people have said how to finish the 15 dodges. Find one enemy, get him agroed on you, and then dodge his attacks. What do the rest of your group do? Well, they find their OWN enemy to dodge. What do you do if someone comes along and wastes the guy you are dodging? You grit your teeth and go find another guy. Unless the other player goes through and kills everything in the area.
For the first time, there is an achievement that forces us, for a short time, to STOP playing with other people. I don’t like that. I don’t want to look to another player as someone who is going to threaten my achievements. I want to enjoy playing with other people. I want to see someone coming and smile in realization that I’m not alone in this big world. I don’t want to be narrowing my eyes as I’m thinking “you better not kill this guy. He’s mine. Stay away.” That is too much like WoW for my peace of mind. And telling people to stay away as some have suggested doesn’t really work, because you are kiting around and dodging in the middle of a melee battle to GET the achievement.
Now this is a fair comment I have nothing bad to say against you…… a GREAT comment on the idea of what GW’s is about….. Fantastic point that is well laid out and explained beautifully…….
The Daily was something I enjoyed. Why do games insist on changing the things that players like? As a ranger it is almost impossible to dodge. I can stow my pet and make attempts, but if I get hit once my pet comes back. No way to put pets on stow until you want them back. Crafting? really? I ask you, Who gets enough materials to craft 10 items a day? I sure don’t. When I logged in tonight I saw the update and sat hoping the Daily had been changed. Stupid me, I thought it would change for the better. Not Good!!!!

Crafting…. Complaining……. Really???? you do know that you HAVE to gather right? if you gather all wood and then I don’t know……. Maybe refine it……. Crafting Done!

+1 for an acceptance pop-up upon being revived. This thread is a hilariously ridiculous example of how lousy this game’s community can be. You think people will stop reviving others if they didn’t stand up immediately? Grant the bonus experience to the reviver once per downed player at the end of his channeling, regardless of how long it is before the downed player clicks to accept. Problem solved. Put a 120-second acceptance timer on each revive, as well, and you limit a player’s ability to disappear for ages and still get the rez when he gets back. Disable the feature inside PvP/WvW, and this feature has literally NO downside.

I feel the need to comment on this statement too….. A bad example of parenting is to stay at your PC for even ONE second after your child starts crying…. And that is the truth….. Don’t believe me have your own child….. And to stay at your PC to close down your game or whatever is the true definition of bad parenting…..
I can tell you without asking as remember them both omne was an eating contest and one was at a buffet . Knowing what i do of buffets now the food likely sat too long or wasent heated to the proper temperature causing the issue . I may have thrown up a time or 2 after a seizure when i was younger as violent as they are but that would be rare as its not a typical response for me .
Again go ask your parents about throwing up as a child because everyones memory as a child will always be distorted from the actual truth. But you didn’t comment on what I said about my child versus what you claimed is the truth about my cooking skills and parenting skills. Children are ALL different, all 3 of mine are different to each other. So please don’t make statements that are not based on fact.
Back to the original point, I know of at least one other game that has this feature and is appreciated, it does however have a time limit of 5 minutes.
The only kind of example these are is examples of bad parenting . If your kid is throwing up its either because they got into a chemical or you under cooked their food both of which you should have a handle on .
BWHAHAHAHAHHAHAH and that truely proves you have NO idea what your saying…. I have a child who vomits a lot and its not because of “undercooked” food or chemicals…. He gets a headache he throws up…. He gets upset he throws up… He eats rich food he throws up….

The problem is that changing traits comes with a price, and gear is way more impotant for builds than in GW1, because of the greater stat bonuses.
So it’ll be better if you could get ‘equipment+build’ slots. Let’s say, starting with 2 or 3 and getting more for a few gems.
Then you would be able to set the traits and the gear, and only have to pay to change the traits on a slot, not for changing slots.
It’s not so much that Gear is more important than Traits…. Its more the time wasted re-traiting each and everytime you want to do something different, when with a few clicks of the mouse you could change your setup in seconds instead of minutes and be playing the game (which is the proclaimed idea of GW’s2) instead of fumbling around trying to remember if you used that skill or that skill…. And also if you should accidently click a few to many points in a single trait you have to repay to have the whole lot removed.
Actually it would be better if the saved trait build did everything at once…. Armor, Weapons, Accessories, Traits and Skills. Again a limit of how many saves you can have but as suggested perhaps you could buy more from the Gem Store. A one time gold fee and then you can switch between them whenever you like for free (outside of combat of course), if you want to make a new one and you have 3 saves already then you either buy another slot from the gem store or you pay gold and save it over another trait save.
The other good thing about switching them all at once is that your items would be out of your bags and free more room for other items….

Trait Saving would be a useful tool as I said 3 saves would do what we needed. Someone in my post suggested a PvE, a Dungeon and a WvW/PvP save so again only 3 trait saves.
I dont think a fee is needed except when you first create the Trait Save… and if you make a new one to be saved over the top of another …. after that it could be free to switch between Saves…. Make the initial Save a little more expensive
Also I agree with the post from domxnik about a item switch tab and how about a armor switch tab too….. I have 3 sets of armor that I use for the 3 sets of builds I use tho I have been thinking of a 4th build and as such Trait Saves, Armor and Item Switch tabs would be great……

I know what the OP was meaning but in all reality very few MMO’s do specific region servers which is a good thing….. If we had a all Oceanic server then the playtime would be roughly 12 PM to 11PM (give or take a few hours either side) and outside of that there would be very limited players and so the server would grind to a halt and cause the ones on to be unable to do anything major…..

Answer these in a way that allows you to close the game down in a hurry…. A child walks into the room carrying a snake thats getting a little upset at being carried…. what should I do close my game down or run for my kid…..
A kid walks up a hallway and starts to throw up….. Close the game or get to the kid….

Ok the idea is this:
In Guild Wars 1 we could make skill builds and change between them at will in towns.
I would like to suggest a similar system for GW’s 2 but limited to only 3 saved trait builds per character which can be switched at anytime…. If you want to make a new one then you go to your trait trainer and for an increased amount you can make a new trait build and save it instead.
I myself have a few trait setups that I like to use for different areas and its annoying to have to go to a trait trainer EVERY time I need to change it.
Maybe someone can expand apon the idea but that is basically what I suggest… Thanks
Action Bar…… I totally agree….. I’ve been thinking about it for a while….. Put whatever food or buff tokens or drinks so you can use them when you need to without having to search for them in the middle of something……

I agree this is a good idea for thought….. Life does get in the way from time to time for people with one (and they are just as important as those without)…….. Other games have this feature so I don’t see why GW’s couldn’t too the other thing it would help with is when a Champion or Legendary is standing over you and you res only to die again immediately….. and again and again….. confirmation would allow for you to wait for the enemy to be pulled from your postion….
One thing I would like to confirm with hithlain is that revival confirmation is when your dead and not downed right……. downed I dont think is worth it…. but dead yes
Can anyone tell me and others wondering the same thing….. What are the changes that ANet are doing to the Legendary Weapons?
I know that they will be upgraded to whatever the best stats in the game are when new items come out but what about if I don’t like the current stats….. I run a power, precision, crit damage set…. and I want that on my Legendary…… but I dont want to downgrade the bow to Exotic……
What has Anet hinted at or out-right said? Is there other things we should know?

I don’t have any pets parts missing but I have had no items from the chest….. In the Rata Sum Chest I got a ugly hat and a wintersday gift.

I would like to suggest a Dance Broker or Merchant where you can buy new RACIAL dances for your characters.
Something simple to start 1 or 2 more dances per race. And as new expansions come add a few more in. Sell them for Gems…….
Adding some of the original dances in would be great like a certain Necro dance from Guild Wars and a certain dance style thats quite the rage thanks to youtube would be great too, one or two of the better bollywood dances would be great as well ie Bride and Prejudice and Kuch naa Kaho (otherwise known as Dont Say Anything). The dance I mean in Kuch naa Kaho is when the main two actors are restoring the relationship of two other people (about half way through the movie).
Im sure others can suggest some other good dances too…… and I hope others will promote this idea too

Yes I also have this problem. It seems linking to having to many people in the area as it only happens to me when I am surrounded by people…
It Happens in WvW and at the Shatter and at Jormag….
Those are the three places I can think of off the top of my head it has occured
I got my new alt up to lvl 12 just in case… give her something of a fighting chance if a battle is to occur!
I want to get her the Mad Memoires too, but I think lvl 35 areas may be a little bit much. When does that event end?
Get a Group of guildies to help you….. Just remember that low level Characters have a much LARGER agro area and can pull enemies from 2 to 3 times further away….. Thats what happened to us and a guildie we helped to get the book…..
