If I wanted to gamble I’d hit up vegas. Games are a place for me to get away from real life crap.
Inflation also plays a huge role. As it sets in, everything will be valued higher. BUT, you will still get the same amount of silver for completing dungeons and doing DEs, creating a bigger disparity of income and gold sinks
Right now the gold botters control prices on the tp. They make tons of money through bots, then monopolize markets on the TP and profit off big time in real monies

2. Do the weapons have to be the same type? so to get bolt or zap or whatever, do I have to put in ONLY swords or can I just use any weapons (sword, shield, gs, mace) and still have a chance to get that?
3. How do you make 20g? I have some investments in my bag that I want to sell for christmas but I can’t even put them on tp cuz of the taxes.

Legendaries have always been about the skin. That’s why you get them. I’m sure by the time you have enough money or enough time to make your own legendary, that you have enough leftover money to buy fine transmute stones (through gems) and 1g weapons to transmute the skin onto whatever stats you want on the fly.

I’m hammer/rifle warrior asura, rarely see warrior asura although I do see asura gaurdians. Another really rare combo is asura rangers female
IMO the biggest problem is that the suit health is YOUR health. If the suit dies, you die. I think the suit should be seperate armor, so once it dies, you just jump out still at full health.
Yea, either 2 high end desktops for 1.5k each, or 1 high end desktop 1.5k-2k, then use the remaining monies on a laptop. I run gw2 on high with decent fps on my 1k laptop from 4 months ago. You can’t really buy a future proof gaming laptop so spending more than 2k on one is a huge waste
The way to justify asura warrior? Little midget roflstomping 8 ft char and norns in pvp

Why can’t they just have a list from all servers from your region showing who is up for a dungeon and which dungeon. Then you can still pm them to make a group but don’t have to go MAP TO MAP or sit in LA ALL DAY spamming LFG

He means making mystic weapons, which require 50 skillpoints for the elridtch scroll. This is a good idea, I’ve sold 3 mystic weapons so far (through chat to avoid stupid taxes) and you make about 3-4g profit from the mats alone. But you probably make less since you are basically selling your time (to level up to get those 50 skillpoints) so doing this is more like making money on the side while you do other stuff (like I run dungeons for the karma but I do get exp so I just put it into mystics)

so will 6 emerald orbs give more power/toughness/vit than 6 runes of the soldier which only gives power/toughness and 1 effect?
So my warrior build as follows
I have a full exotic gear with power primary and secondary vit/toughness. These pieces have superior rune of the fighter (power/toughness). My trinkets are all beserker’s with beserker jewels in them too (power/crit/crit dmg). Yet I still have only 20k hp and 2.8k armor with 3.4k attack and 34% crit (running 30/20/20/) and I feel squishy in dungeons.
This other warrior has;
24k health//3.2k armor//40% crit chance//3.3k attack
Armor: All “Soldier” type (Power + Vit + Toughness) with crests of the soldier.
Weapons: All Knight (Prec + Power + Toughness) with various sigils.
Trinkets: All Emerald with Emerald Jewels (Prec + Power +Toughness)
Spec: 20/20/0/10/20
He’s using crests, I never even thought of those and they’re much cheaper. So how can I get tankier and do more damage? Do I need to use runes or crests or a combination and what’s the difference? Thanks!

I saw this one guy with full beserker’s armor but runes of divinity instead (+10 to all stats) would I get overall better stats with this build?

I remember seeing vids in the summer where you fight zhaithan on foot with a bunch of people. How do I get to that? At the end all I did was spam 2 to kill zhaithan while he stood there crying. Soooo boring, and I get a crappy yellow for doing it. Also, if zhaithan is dead, why do dragons still spawn and why is orr still corrupted? (may have been answered in one of the cutscenes but the story is sooo boring that I skip them all)

Yea transfers cost 7 day grace periods. Can you just do a drawing or something. If you kept this up, we’d have to transfer and wait 7 days just to see you when you’re done with the game

Are you kidding? The tier 3 heavy is AMAZING! So is whatever zojja wears on her head. But back to the heavy. I’m going to get a full set , have it silver armor, with gold trims, and the glowing lines are going to be silver; so similar to a TRON design. I already have the pact warhammer and a pistol (forgot the name) that match the style of this armor (blue outlined TRON style). Only thing is I got the tier 3 shield/sword/greatsword nad they’re purple so it’ll be a little iffy, but those weapons are amaaazing just like the armor
I think magic find should be removed. The only people I see using it are the hundreds of bots in orr. Even if you have MF, they’ll be making more money so they control the prices, not you..
That’s why I said you can only change ur class to another one with the same armor. So no you couldn’t go from a heavy armored warrior to light armor ele. I think you’re reading too much into it..
Anet has this microtransaction thing all wrong. They don’t know how to price things. They could implement this and charge like a high amount of gems. They would’ve made a killing if they made the keys the right price.
I sold a mystic weapon to this guy. I priced it so it was cheaper than the ones on TP so he won, and I didn’t have to pay any taxes so I still got more money than if I had posted it on the tp, so we both won.
I know that they’re going to add name changes (in a long long time) and soon they’ll add the cosmetic changes pack. Also that they won’t release anything allowing you to change races due to personal story. But do you think that they would add class change? It doesn’t change your personal story, only your armor, like they could limit it so you can only change to another class of the same armor profession. Because I’m getting really tired of my warrior, but I don’t want to start a new char so I can play gaurdian because I just got 100% map completion and have already started my cultural tier 3 armor. Also, gaurdian is very fitting for asura compared to warriors. Thoughts?
I would rather have a class changer. Warrior is just so dam stale and guaurdian fit asura so much better
I posted a question in another thread but just to derail this a bit: I heard sylvari t3 cultural armors glow. Does the same glow for asura t3/t2?
Sylvari cultural armor adopts the color of the sylvari. So if the sylvari has green skin, the armor will have a green tint on it. This is to give the appearence that the armor is growing from the sylvari.
For asura, the tier 3 heavy has lines in it that glow, akin to a TRON theme. Which is what i’m saving up for. Even got a pact war hammer and azure rifle which also have the tron theme
I don’t think they should. Otherwise how would I tell a gaurdian/warrior from an ele? Sure they can add names saying that you’re an ele or something, but I don’t like that clutter. Also, the customization already implemented is INSANE

The gold site has this whole security system and is a middle man, you pay them, they pay the gold seller AFTER you confirm you got the gold in game. they even use mobile authentication. Anet needs to step up their game to be more competitive.
I won’t be buying any gems with cash till ANet can compete, otherwise it just seems like wasted money

Well derpitykitten you can tell by looking that the tp. All the skins have risen in price already. I wish I had about the chain sword skins at 2g a pop, they’re going for 17g now, could’ve made so much money, but of course as usual, i never have the money at the right time

So some of the times (okay, well at least twice per run) I kill the scarecrow with my rifle and watch as it fears my teammates off the cliff. Then I laugh while they curse at the mad king. Not many people realize that it’s the killing of the scarecrow. Anyone else do this? What’s your record, at one time I had 3 teammates all fall off, it was kittening hilarious!

I don’t think candy corn will increase in demand much. I alone have around 10k candy corn, from buying through dirt cheap prices and just mining/ToT bags. I’m pretty sure anyone who wants to craft some haloween item in the future has more than enough candy corns. Not even the haloween legendaries need that much cc
Too bad you’re not Asura, I have the bow, gs, and planning to get the sword/shield. Very nice electrical effect with a purple haze around it (I wish I could change the color of the haze though, but it’s consistent with Asura gates/technology).

Almost bought an item from this guy that’s normally on TP for 6.4g, he was offering it for 6.1g. Luckily someone in chat saw his name and told me that he was a known scammer. Just wondering if I had gone and mailed him the money and he hadn’t given me the item, could I have reported him?
