Last time I checked Guild Wars 1 is still on the market and considered an MMO. So yeah, I’m afraid Guild Wars 2 isn’t gonna get the cake.

Sure a lot of you will beg to differ about GW1 being a MMO, but I guess that makes GW1 even more awesome. You know why? Because it has won trophies for best MMORPG without being one! Epic huh?

100% disagree. I understand where you’re coming from, guild loyalty and what not but I love being able to switch guilds easily and see which fits best. Without all the drama of actually leaving a guild.
I LOVE this system.

While what you said makes perfect sense, I wonder if you’re aware that your comment has likely left many readers (including me!) with a look of disbelief on their face, being shocked that people actually approach being in a guild that way. Heh.

I’m also in favor of a 1 guild per character system. It just makes no sense when you see a guildie turn around, turn back and go like… wasn’t he in our guild 5 seconds ago?

Perhaps I’m just to loyal in comparison to the new generation, but to me a guild is something you stick with. Even if at times it goes bad, I don’t pack my bags and leave, no I try to help and get the guild back on track. It’s not something you go and join for the lulz imo.

I suppose it’s a great system for the (seemingly) newer generation that don’t take a guild very serious and just try and get as many personal advantages as they can. Well, now they finally got a game that actively promotes guildhopping, a kind of behaviour that usually sickens me.

I’d love to see an elementalist solo kitten without any spells. That’s some MLG-tier bullkitten I’d love to learn.

Oh they would. They’ll tell you how you can solo all PvE content using the two elemental summons and use Arcane Blast + Signet of Fire as back up dmg. That’ll get any Champion down in 2-3 casts!

So what caused the BWE3 changes? Were Eles that mighty? That seems odd to see as an issue, considering out of my 4 professions played, the Ele dies more often. Clearly the changes were too draconian if they were needed.

The cause apparently was that Elementalists could kill to fast. Considering the state Frenzy 100B Warriors or Haste Pistol Whip Thieves are in at the moment I really wonder what kind of insane killing machines Elementalists must’ve been to be considered faster at killing stuff than those two combos. Even with increased damage and if you used something like Flame Ring + all your blast finishers to stack might you’d still need loads of CC to make your combo actually hit and it’d take a lot longer than the Quickness combos. I mean Dragon Tooth you see a mile away, Flame Grabs aiming is just awkward at times and Churning Earth takes a year to cast.

I’m also kinda interested in the complete change list on the Elementalist nerfs. From what I’ve heard the CD on Arcane Blast/Wave were increased and Flame Grab damage reduced?

I think Meteor Swarm just does damage so that if you want cripple/CC you have to swap over (of course, Lava Chains underwater sort of messes with this reasoning, but, whatever.) I think really all Meteor Swarm needs is some way to make it more consistent (maybe give the meteors some more splash so even indirect hits still do something to anyone in the AoE?)

And here again we have the issue with our 20 skills!

Rangers Barrage is damage AND CC.

Elementalist? First you cast MS which takes a year, swap to water and cast Frozen Ground and pray there’s someone still standing there. On second thought, skip the Frozen Ground, anyone that’s still standing in your MS by the time Frozen Ground has cast wouldn’t move anyway so there’s no need for the Frozen Ground. If you do it the other way around by the time your MS finally is done casting Frozen Ground is already gone.

Why have 20 skills when we need 2 skills to do what other classes do with 1 skill?

survival : toughness or vitality?

I prefer using Toughness in PvP. I’ve tried the Knight’s Amulet and got over 20k hp, but that HP was gone way to fast and your heal simply can’t keep up with the amount of HP it has to restore.

Toughness you can get in trouble against heavy condition builds yes, but with the current FOTM being quickness Warrior/Thieves I’d say you have to worry more about direct damage than condition damage.

Should I stick with Ele and ride it out or is the balance we need only a pipe dream?

Well I have little interest in getting another character to 80 and getting it exotics, so in PvE I’ll stick to my Elementalist. Not that hard considering I haven’t really done any PvE lately anyway.

In PvP I tried a Mesmer today. Well, lets just say that my Elementalist will be gathering dust in PvP for a while.

Sorry, but holy crap. Where did you find such a large heap of morons at once? Half of them didn’t manage to damage you (the fact they were uplvld and therefore prolly not close to you in stats didn’t help I guess) and didn’t seem to have any idea what they were doing.

That Warrior just seemed to aimlessly run around and hit his auto attack? Then they decided to go res some dead guy instead of fighting you off first and even though they were outnumbering you they basically came at you 1vs1 or 2vs1 and giving you enough time in between each fight to recover.

Stopped watching at like 2:30 because there just was no point to it. Beating a bunch of people that seem to be occupied by being fascinated how their drool is falling all over their keyboard without actually realising it’s them drooling all over it does not show the Elementalist is fine.

Using Magic Find gear, so that brings my total stats down. I got 100%+ find so I could get quite a bit off extra stats if I changed sets. Using full glass cannon as well, since I don’t really do organised PvE atm. Just dailies and for that I can engage mobs at places where I want and know all I have to worry about is killing them fast.

It’s also effective in WvW when you know when to hide :P

WTF is a vid against an obvious TROLL squad going to show us? They had 4 Eles and heck, it failed. Whoop de whooping doo, I could’ve told you before, that it wouldn’t go well. It probably is fun, but you can hardly take a match like that serious.

Well I guess that last fight did show us one thing. At least Ele vs Ele is VERY balanced, neither is ever gonna die.

2) Immobilization skill. REALLY useful. In PvE, it’ll keep melee enemies at bay, and in sPvP, it’ll keep foes in place so they can’t run up to you and use a finisher before someone else knocks ‘em out. I’d cry if we lost this one.

Lolwut? The reason you died is because the melee mob is RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. Why would you want to ensnare it some place where it has no choice but to hit you? Not to mention it’s absolutely useless against ranged mobs.

Also what are you gonna do in sPvP when there are, I don’t know, TWO people? Alright I got the ranger that killed me ensnared! I bet his buddy totally won’t stomp me because that’d be KS or something! Think again.

3) MIST FORM. In PvE and WvW it can get you out of a huge mob. The biggest perk about this skill that not enough people realize is that, when you’re downed and low on health, it’ll restore your health once you go back to being downed. So if I use it right as I’m about to be defeated, not only do I have a chance to escape while invulnerable, but I also get the health bar restored back to half to have a fighting chance. My only qualm about this one is that they should reduce the cooldown on it by one or two seconds. The thief can pop that pesky teleport before a finisher can go off, but we can’t pop Mist Form in that span of time.

Nice, just that inside a huge mob you’re long dead before you even get to activate Mist Form. Even if you manage to pull it off the mob can still follow you, you can get dotted to death or simply ensnared on the spot.

In PvP you get stomped long before you can activate it, unless you got buddies helping you out, which is kinda the point we’re the only class that can’t do anything without somebody around us to save ourkitten

Also the regen on Mist Form also works the other way around. Friend is healing you, you see boss AoE popping up so you have to move and voila, you respawn with low health again and got an additional downed counter added for free.

tl;dr our downed skills are great, learn to use them properly.

Yeah it’s great that we’re the only class that can’t do anything about getting stomped the moment we have died and got to pray our enemy forgets about us after downing us so we can trigger Mist Form, which results in nothing more than us returning into the down state with slightly less hp than before.

Sorry but how does a single target ensnare measure up against AoE push, the ability to RALLY for 15 seconds with all skills available, AoE fear, loads of illusionary bodies, teleport + stealth or an interrupt + pet skills?

Bought full explorer exotic 80 set, except gloves as I got a bunch of 76 exotic traveler gloves as map completion reward. Weapon I got an exotic 80 explorers staff I crafted myself and 2 rare traveler daggers I bought.

Considering how fast you can get whiped in dungeons I’ve been considering getting a set with toughness, bit undecided on whether to go support with Cleric or bit more DD with Knight set though.

Ele good at 1vs1?

Ele’s have the lowest survivability. So first you start by getting survivability and all this does is put you ON PAR with other classes. So you sacrifice attack power to be as good at surviving as other classes that haven’t done ANYTHING about survival.

Ele doesn’t have a lot of dmg (when you got close to 2k power and your Churning Earth hits a war for 1k then I’d say that’s not a lot of dmg, screw the bleed you’re long dead before the Warrior has to worry about that). The damage abilities we have take far to long to trigger and/or got insane cast times (Dragon Tooth, Erruption, Churning Earth, Meteor Shower, Shatterstone, Lava Font, Ice Spike, Healing Rain, Static Field, ). Flame Grab is an exception but tends to miss 90% off the time when you and your opponent are moving. So your left with removing your survivability again so you actually do damage or sacrifice survivability utilities so that you can actually hit your opponents.

Then there’s the whole switching attunements which again costs extra time. You CC with Earth, switch to Fire, start casting fire skill and then half your CC is gone already. Then a year later your Dragon Tooth finally decides to land while your opponent is already halfway across the map. The ability of mashing more buttons doesn’t make us better. It makes us on par IF we manage to mash all our buttons correctly, but it’s still highly inefficient since the other classes can do just as much without all the switching and it pretty much forces us to take the Arcane trait so that we can actually use all our attunements.

What amused me the most was that the Warriors rush was fixed when used on running targets, while Ride the Lightning/Magnetic Grasp also have issues with moving targets but those are just ignored it seems.

Thanks for all the responses, you were all a huge help. I’ve solidly decided that I’m going 15 in Water and at least 20 in Arcana with 10 in Air for the speed boost. I’m currently trying to decide how I’ll spend the rest of those points but my question was more than answered so thank you all.

At least 10 in Earth. Like Yukishiro said that Armor of Earth trait is a must have.

Water Trait Line

15 into water is what you want. Beyond that is not worth it. The heal on switch to water is the best thing you get from speccing into water. Beyond that the returns are not worth it and the points would be better spent in arcane or earth.

I prefer 150 vitality over 150 toughness myself. I’ve used 30 earth builds before and I was still cut down on the spot by warriors, the damage reduction from toughness seems to be lower than the extra survivability gained from more health.

Also as a support build the XI trait (cond removal when applying regen) is pretty good in PvP. Especially compared with the traits you’d get in Earth (if you have at least 10 pts in there which you should really have for armor of earth anyway) I’d say water is a lot better.

I’d personally use a 0/10/10/20/30 build over a 0/0/25/15/30 build if you don’t want to max water. The extra speed from Air can be useful moving around the field and you can take a second major trait in water.

Nah, we should just be happy that we have to mash 20 buttons to achieve what a Warrior can do with a single 100 blades so that we can brag about how we are so skilled that we can be as good as a Warrior that is only using one skill.

Everyone who states that the ele is OP needs to start posting their builds so we can judge if they are trolling or not.

To be honest I’m more interested in footage of their actual gameplay, because the way some of them state they’re doing things it makes me wonder whether they’re fighting players or the dmg test golems.

This is a very big problem in a game without the supposed trinity.

Ele is pretty much forced to be a support class to be anything decent in PvP and unfortunately support is only as good as the people they’re supporting. Yes great support can be the difference when the DDs clashing are close in skill, but the moment the enemy DDs are simply superior there’s nothing whatsoever that support can do.

A good DD however can make the difference by whiping the enemy DDs and after that the support can either run or get killed by said DD. In a game that’s supposed to have done away with the trinity where every class was supposed to be a viable option there should not be a class that only becomes viable the moment you run with an organised team that knows what they’re doing and more importantly know what you’re doing to make the most off it.

Anyone else find grandmaster traits to be lackluster?

Well there’s something nice to use, but not all are great indeed, then again I don’t think every trait is supposed to be great.

I used a D/D build with 30 fire/air 10 water build before in PvE and it rocked. You could easily stack 10+ might in combination with Battle Roar and the 60% vulnerability on crit meant I was regulary stacking 10+ stacks of that on mobs as well. Air 30 is rather crappy though, I just used one of the lower lvl traits in that slot. If it wasn’t for 50 precision you’d be a lot better off leaving Air at 25.

Earth 25 is crap, you want to dodge, but both the 30 traits are pretty good. 2s stability with a pretty short CD is great for stomping people in PvP and the signet trait is great when you play with lots of signets.

Water 25 is again nothing great, but the 30 trait that removes a condition when applying regeneration is great against condition stacking. Combine it with Arcane V and Water V and attuning to Water alone will already remove 2 conditions. Then use healing rain and you can remove another 4 conditions. The aura one can be great at the right times.

Arcane 25 is dependant on how big the chance is. If it’s something like the 60% on the Air 25 it can be pretty nice. Also Evasive Arcana is darn good.

So all in all, the last Water traits might be a bit conditional and Air could definitely use something better. Except for that I don’t think any off them are really that bad. Also you can swap em around whenever you’re out of combat, so it’s not that bad when they’re a bit conditional if you know what you’re up against. Slot the right traits for the next encounter and afterwards swap them again. Especially in PvE you can switch around a lot once you know what’s gonna happen.

Common Elementalist Combos/Rotations

D/D PvP is the bomb.
Star in air -4-3(during RTL)-2-5
Swap to earth -3-2-4-5 (while casting, air signet for AoE blind, if you have conditions, use cleansing fire, if they run show them how bad of an idea that was with lightning flash)
I stick in earth for a little bit sustaining my bleeds (condi damage spec and I get extra toughness in this attunement).
If they run away, earth 3, then you have two options. go for the previous earth cycle if it’s off cd and there are others in the area.
OR
Swap to fire -3-4-2-5 (they’ll probably be down by the time you get to this point, but just to be safe…..)-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1
If they’re particularly good at running away…
Swap to air -4-do whatever you want.
If this still doesn’t work, they have too strong of a cowardice build and your time is better spent elsewhere.

There are still lots of situational things you can pull out, too. Like, in a high power or crit build, never underestimate this following combo when several enemies are grouped:
Swap to water -3-4 (maybe even set 4 to your auto-attack for water and forget this step)-2
When they’re all grouped up, the building damage of cone of cold is devastating. Especially after you chill them so they’re not running away. If you have allies nearby, it’s even better ‘cause you’ll heal them.

Also, the fire combo there is also greatly improved with a “line-em-up and knock-em-down” type strategy. The more people you hit with Drake’s Breath followed by Fire Grab, the more awesome you are.

Say, where do I find these people that never dodge? Also they don’t fight back? You sure you aren’t smacking the dmg testing golems confusing that with actual PvP?

You may not realise it, but that video kinda proves just how crappy Elementalists are. There you got one heck of an Ele and well….. he’s useless.

Look at the 2vs2. “oh he’s going 2vs2 against heavy cond dmg, but ok he has healing rain, he’s removing lots of conditions!” Hmm that sounds like the condition build from TeamParadigm is screwed. So they’re gonna own… no wait, conditions apply 10x faster than Healing Rain removes em and after Rain is over there’s no more removal since HR cd is ages long and it’s basically 2vs1 and they both get downed. But they both got their elites, they’re gonna make a comeba… no wait they’re both dead already.

Survivability mykitten Seriously. He carries around 2 survival cantrips, he has the earth armor trait and arcane shield trait. He’s basically taking everything that even remotely increases your survivability. Even with all that you can see how fast he goes down. The 50% point where Armor of Earth triggers is reached within seconds, the 2vs1 he was down in seconds and all he can do is run away and hope his team saves him. In the meantime his meteor shower does amazing 800-900 damage. Whoa, that’s scary!

Sorry but quite simply put a good Elementalist runs around throwing a combo field here and there and uses well timed CCs, F-inishers while doing close to 0 damage and mainly survives because he runs for his lives every 10 seconds and leaves his teammates to clean up the mess. Sorry, but if Izkimar went with another team it’d basically be 4vs5 because the Ele can not pull his own weight.

Pinker, since you’re apparently the only one that can actually play an Elementalist and be as good as other classes, why don’t you show us? Educate us lesser beings on how to properly play an Ele. Not by telling us to “get earth traits!!” but by actually showing us how you play. Make a few vids of you being awesome in PvP so we see what we’re doing wrong.

What on earth happened here? The design of "Straits of Devastation" is horrible.

20 mins of running for your story? Where are you trying to run?! I could easily run from Fort Trinity to Arah in less than 20 mins and perhaps even make it back in time.

Except for the bugged skillpoints there’s nothing wrong with these maps. They’re in the heart of enemy territory. You’re standing in front of Zhaitans stronghold, a dragon with almost unlimited minions at his disposal. Of course it’s not going to be a walk in the park.

So agree on the story part.

Loved the apples dude (Tybalt) during the order of whisper line and then after a few mission they decide he has to sacrifice himself for the greater good.

There’s also one of the 80 story quests where in the middle of a bossfight (that you could easily solo tbh) you suddenly get a cutscene with one of the npcs going zomg its to strong!!!! and other npc going zomg no not my girl, i’ll save youzzzzz!!

Seriously wtf? If that thing is to strong for you gtfo, since I could solo him.

Rank gear is already in game, so I don’t know what everyone is saying there should be no gear grind? Rabbit, Deer, etc etc basically is rank gear, but since this is GW you only get better looks not stats.

So why not give us 5vs5 or 4vs4 arena like GW1 had? I’d really enjoy the mode and well if you people don’t enjoy it, follow your own advice and stick to the current PvP mode.

Also I like how everyone is bashing the OP, not because his idea is bad, but because he mentioned wow.

Actually 4 and 5 on water heal underwater.

Personally I don’t mind underwater combat, I used to think it sucks as well, until I tried out water attunement some more and it just does massive damage, especially Tidal Wave once you figure out how to aim it properly.

In the rare cases you can unleash full Tidal Wave on a mob you can oneskill mobs. If that isn’t a crapload of damage I don’t know what is :P

My biggest issue under water is mobs randomly resetting and going into the invulnerable state for no reason whatsoever.

Yeah Ride the Lightning is a major pain.

I haven’t run into problems with Magnetic Grasp yet myself and I don’t think it needs a buff. It’s more of a PvP oriented skill rather than a PvE one. Making sure the target you’re moving to is still there the moment you arrive is incredibly valuable in PvP. In PvE ensnaring a mob while standing right next to it obviously holds a lot less value.

About the weapon set, I want a quick button to change it even if I can’t use it in combat. It’s just a pain in thekittenif everytime I want to switch between my daggers and staff I have to open my inventory and switch them around, while there is a weapon set function ingame.

Probably by staying in the zone for a few hours before porting again elsewhere :P

While I guess moneysinks are needed, the moment they are so absurd that they stop you from interacting with other people (we are playing a MMO right?), simply because the fee to port to the guy that needs help and back to where you were is getting absurd I’d say something is wrong.

I’d rather see inflation than not wanting to help out a guildie/friend because I’d spend a gold a day if I help everyone out.

People aren’t rushing, you’re going at a snails pace.

I explored Orr (apparently that’s rushing). The maps got no more hearts so you do them rather fast (except for the parts you run circles around bugged skillpoints :P). While I was exploring Orr I joined in on DEs whenever I came along one (doing DEs = rushing, I should just ignore them and stand on a cliff for 2 hours or something). While exploring Orr I was farming all the mithril/elder wood I could find (this gives exp, so it has to be rushing).

Now at 77 I got a bit bored of the DEs and had the first map complete (bugged skillpoint aside) and was halfway through the second map. I went to LA and turned my mithril ore into ingots (crafting = exp = rushing) and I got enough exp for MORE than 3 levels just from that. Now I could turn all those ingots into jewelry which would give me another 2 levels, then I could turn the logs into planks (since my second profession is Artificer) for again 3 levels and turn the planks into weapons for more experience. Sorry, but exp rates in GW2 are simply insane, it has nothing to do with rushing.

If you want to get one profession to 400 to craft 80 gear and farm most of the materials yourself that already gets you to 80. In other words to not turn 80 you have to AVOID a major bit of content in GW2. Irony isn’t it? People claiming you should not rush and enjoy the content by IGNORING the content.

Repair costs make sense in PvE. Unfortunately with the current setup of the WvW map, those are PvE maps (seriously don’t ask me why) and therefore repair costs are needed. Otherwise one could just PvE there all day and never have to worry about repair costs.

Instead of suggesting removal of PvE costs, suggest a rework of the WvW maps.

So as a lvl80 with every normal part of the map fully explored there’s not much need for me to wander around the maps a lot anymore and as a result I don’t really kill a lot of different mobs.

I’m mainly in Orr and can take care of of my daily achievements, except for the kill variety since Orr is 90% undead and 10% elementals, which mostly aren’t counted as different types. So my question is, anyone knows a good map where you can quickly get your daily kill variety?

Magic find too low?

There’s an item I bought on Trading Post called Sigil of Luck that you can apply to your weapon. It provides +4% to magic find and stacks up to 25 times. See if that helps.

That’s 0.4% actually, look carefully for the dot in front of the 4.

While it existed in the original GW, I don’t think there’s been any mention of an anti-farming code here in GW2.

You sure about this? Since I hear it mentioned in like every second topic about farming.

To the OP, I got full explorer gear, Opal jewelry and 5 pirate runes and I notice that almost every mob does drop something, but I rarely get any rare gear. I do get quite a few greens though. At lv80 most gear drops go for 1-2s, so filling your bags with them is still 50s-1g so not that bad. Unfortunately I didn’t do that much killing in Orr before I got my full exotic set, so I can’t really make an accurate judgment but I’d say the MF has increased my drops.

In my opinion only the higher level areas are really crowded and those areas are in the heart of enemy territory. Obviously it’s going to be swarming with mobs there. How stupid would it be if Orr was completely forsaken even though it’s the lair of Zhaitan who has nearly endless minions at his disposal?

Faction gear is a PRESTIGE gear, not a USE gear. There’s a reason it’s only rare and not exotic. If you like the looks get an exotic set and transmute the faction gear on it.

What bothers me the most is not the greens or drops that are being sold for really cheap prices.

What bothers me is the rare and exotic items being sold for less than cost price.

Currently i’m trying to sell an exotic earring that costs 2.25 gold to make, and while i didn’t buy all the materials, 2.25g is the cost of the materials used if they were bought at the Trading Post at the time of item creation.

The trading post took 15s as a listing fee for this (selling for 2.9g), and if the item gets purchased, the TP will take an 8% commission from the profits, this effectively makes my profit 26.8 silver.

Then comes another person who also wants to sell the same item, so he listed for less than my price to sell faster, but this kept happening a few times until the item now sells for a low of 2.74 gold, which makes the profit for the item 13.08 silver, which is very small.

And the prices keep getting lower, and will keep getting lower as long as there’s people with no grasp on basic economics or appreciation for the effort put into the items they create, until it reaches a point where you’ll make more profit by selling the raw materials for that item which renders crafting useless.

First off, the 8% commission taken from the profits should go away, i didn’t pay a listing fee just to get more money taken away from my profits, it’s not like ANet’s doing anything with that commission.

Secondly, there should be some sort of supervision on the prices, not letting them drop below a certain point, like an equation or something to calculate the cost value of an item based on the material prices at the time of listing.

But at the moment, i see no real use of the trading post other than being a dump for people with full inventories.

please, don’t talk about “grasp on basic economics” if you’re such a fool and simpleton. That thing is called dumping, and is quite normal for real world economy

Selling all the materials would’ve made you 2.25*0.85 = 1.91g. So for somebody that farmed the mats to make that ring he could’ve sold the mats seperately for 1.91g profit or craft the ring and make 2.33g profit. Now why would he go for the first option?

Not to mention there’s also the benefit of having only 1 item for sale instead of 5 different small pieces. Especially when you’re used to games where you got a limited amount of auction space and are used to rather sell one item instead of five pieces.

I don’t think ‘laisez faire’ is the approach we want to take in such a “free market” as this either. As many have here noted it’s only a matter of time before a guild, individual, or even the dreaded gold farmers put 2 and 2 together and amass the capital to buyout and set the sole price for certain key commodities. Yes, they will effectively have a monopoly and the TP will then be worthless to the masses in a whole new way.

How about you really think about what you said?

If the price for items is higher, said individuals/guilds/goldfarmers will earn MORE. Now you add 1 + 1 and what do you get? They get more money and therefore can still buy the stuff at higher prices.

People keep complaining about to low prices, because they can’t make money, but never seem to realise that if items were more expensive they also got to pay more for stuff and would come back here and complain that prices are to high and how it’s unrealistic to expect that one farms X amount of gold just for some “insert random item here”.

At the moment selling your crappy items to a vendor is a good way of making money. Now imagine everything is 2-3x as expensive. What will happen is that people will be more reliant on good drops that actually sell, because even if good stuff is 2-3x more expensive nobody will buy random blues or bad greens for 2-3x vendor worth. Same goes for event rewards.

Some stuff simply isn’t supposed to be worth more than vendor price. What the hell do you want, the ability to sell trophy items for 5x their vendor value? Useless junk will be useless junk.

Perhaps if there are tons of people selling what you’re trying to sell at minimum price the items you got are, I don’t know junk?

Asking for an increase in the minimum price is just stupid. A minimum shouldn’t even exist. If somebody wants to sell stuff cheaper than what he can get for it from the vendor so be it, it’s his loss.

I don’t think you know how the economy works when you’re asking for crap like this. Increase in item price means you might make more from selling one item and then in turn have to pay just as much more to buy another item from the TP. We got a term for that, it’s called inflation and it’s bad.
