How’s WvW at the very bottom of the list? Before HoT I remember lots of people said it’s good fun and people preferred to play there due no blobs but is it still fun now?

It actually hurts when people say hurdur druid is not needed for raids. It’s my only toon (well, I gots level 80 necro but it’s not even geared up) so am I supposed to just.. Not do raids at all then?

Makes things in WvW/sPvP a bit difficult if you are stuck on staff in certain situations. Lets say, you weapon swap to staff, someone goes down next to you and gets stealthed. Normally at this point you would try to do damage around that area and try stop the ressers from ressing and the downed guy from getting up but.. With staff you can’t really do anything at all in that situation. #1 and #2 won’t work without a target, #3 doesn’t do damage, #4 rarely works if you are on uneven terrain and #5 doesn’t do damage either. You have to wait for weapon swap and meanwhile the downed guy is up again and the momentum is lost.

I just had this too and I ragequitted.

The shoulders aren’t ugly if you squint your eyes to the point you can barely see anything, then they look alright.

The new meta is to solo roam together with everyone else in EB.

In the new WvW borderland map the middle Mega Lazer event causes map wide lag and it’s a lot worse than Eternal Battleground three way fights inside Stonemist’s lords room. Numbers don’t matter tho, it could be just 2 people doing the event and it lags the whole map out.

Had a rather irritating and time wasting bug in Torn from the Sky, sylvari owned instance but did not proc the Sylvari Solidarity achievement or Conservation of Resources even tho the turret was at 100% all the way to the end. Second try the NPCs didn’t even bother building the turret so it failed again.

When I saw the change I felt free! Finally I am able to use some other food!

If anyone has suggestions for GW2 songs to replace the theme track with, please do let me know! I don’t play with in game musics on so I have no idea which song would fit or if there even are any jolly ones out there.

I tried a pure chill build some weeks ago, sadly it wasn’t as epic as I expected it to be. Most of the time I was hugging the ice cold ground.

That’s not a bad build at all, I run something similar while I roam. I tend to play it on the safe side tho, I usually try to stick with 2,7-2,9k armor depending on the matchup (Some servers run more condi groups, other zerkers). You can gradually go lower till you find a spot you are most comfortable with. HP-wise I have relied on the extra vitaly you get from guard stacks, now that they will be removed with the expansion I’m not quite sure how I will be able to deal with that!

For me roaming is anything between 1-5 people and I don’t think having 5 people in the group means it’s automatically a ganking group. Ganking groups are a bit cowardish, targetting everything with less numbers and running away from equal or outnumbered situations every time.

I feel there’s a bit too much over analyzing going on here tho. In the end as long as you are having fun, nothing else matters. Keep on recording, even if others may not enjoy your videos you can always watch them through with your group as it’s a great way to improve your teamplay.

Guys, don’t forget that elite specs are supposed to be new takes on the existing professions; new paths that open up that they previously couldn’t take, not straight up upgrades (ie "more of the same, just a little better). What did Ranger lack? Group support. What does Druid give us? Group support.

Someone mentioned in that article’s comments that Chris Whiteside left Anet already back in spring, I didn’t know and I just figured that they are too busy with HoT to continue CDIs. Makes me sad he left right before he was going to do the GvG one tho, doubt the GvG arena thing in HoT will be as polished as it could have been with his help.

Ohhhhhhh I’m lagging so far behind, I didn’t know Chris had left Anet, I just figured they were too busy with HoT and that’s why the CDIs stopped.
