yes but he does it for a reason mostly to stop the healing skills, even if he let the target stay in melee range , even i wouldn’t risk letting them Recover+healing (if the melee type fails to finish him off)

the interupt kb is simply a means for a good ranger to Make sure the Fight Is ended There and then , rather than risking Drawing out the fight.

honestly he only uses the bear for the condi clear then swap to the faithful samioth, his nothing like a Bear bow , its Pig Bow.

You don’t understand, I’m not critizing him for his play style and dissing him for the sake of dissing. What he does is awesome in these 1vsX clips of course and his build works for him, don’t get me wrong. I’m in the same server with him so I occasionally get into the same fights so I can see what my target is doing at the time, most of the time nothing else but getting knocked away from me while I’m trying to land my maul. In the camps/sentries with no enemies around he always pushes the mobs away for no reason. Not sure if he is doing it on purpose just for the luls and giggles as I always nag about it when he does it (Actually I nag about that every time I see any ranger doing it as it really is incredibly irritating. So far I haven’t managed to educate any of these rangers /shakes fist). It also could be that the inner bearbow breaks free when he is not concentrating hard enough. Happens to everyone I guess.

Pair servers together based on ranking and allow for WvW guesting between the paired servers. Simple. The only thing the video doesn’t cover is that servers rarely need, or want that much help, so something like a 20-30 limit on WvW guests would probably do. One thing I really like about the idea is that it allows for small groups to play with or against new players more often, which is something I feel WvW could really benefit from.

That would make siege trolling and whatnot even easier as it is.

Why wasn’t RF a problem prior to the patch then? You needed 2 dodges instead of 1, it followed you to stealth and it hit as hard as it does now. The range has been the same since launch as well.

Most of the animals are currently located under WvW discussion subforum. I don’t think they are tameable tho and I wouldn’t suggest to pet them. They bite and if you feed them nuts, they will throw ’em right back at you.

Whenever someone caps a ruin, the “Your world has claimed Boderland Bloodlust!” text spams several times, even when it’s just a single ruin, not all 3 when you would actually get the buff.

How about exhaustion be applied upon using supplies instead of dropping the siege? I can pretty much drop 3 trebs and waste 300 supplies under the 3 minute frame.

How will that work if you are all alone repairing a wall/gate or building defensive siege? Happens quite often that a dedicated scout or the few oddballs are fixing things while the commander runs away with the zerg towards new adventures or you are just in a tough outmanned situation.

This happened last night. This is an individual who has admitted to being paid by a rival server to do this. There really should be no confusion as to why these people are doing this. Dozens of people have reported this person for over a year and anet has done nothing.

At least the ballis are near the camp! Abaddon Mouth’s north camp was looking rather.. Interesting on the other night. There was few ballistas in and around the camp like you would expect but when you moved towards north where the old orb altar was, all the way back of the cliff you could see 25-30 ballistas and a ram lined up.

You could always whisper that person and mention about this rather than making a topic here as it isn’t going to change a thing. The best case scenario is that the person learns and the worst is that they continue to do it whenever you are around because they don’t like to do anything other people tell them to do. The latter happens surprisingly often.

As disappointing as it seems to be that they are all in one server, you shouldn’t really complain! 2 top notch GvG guilds and 1 small scale roaming guild! That’s pretty awesome if the devs feedback goes towards improving both scenes rather than buffing the blobs and zergs even more in the future patches.

The OP asked which he should use. In my humble opinion as probably the best power ranger around. GS is superior.

I call for a nerf cause it dosnt matter which build im on,if a ranger caught you by surprise,you are dead.Even if thief catch you by surprise,you can manage.Against ranger you are helpless.

Everything about this reply is perfect. It shows rangers are “op” against players that refuse to adjust their build and have lousy situational awareness.

Dont insult other ppl while you dont even know what are you talking about.I may have “lousy situational awareness” but you sir no better,cause no one is perfect,and because of that,you will always get spiked by a ranger,no matter how much situational awareness you have.You cant predict a ranger or much to react to a ranger who sit on high places and pick you out,you cant predict a ranger who shoots from stealth,and you defiantly cant predict a ranger sometimes,when you in middle of a fight.So please before insulting ppl on no ground,try keep it civil cause we are adults?(I hope you are).

And fyi,I did changed my builds 3 times to same end.Today I went full yolo with all the reflects memser have,and still got bursted from tiem to time.You can blame my “lousy situational awareness” but you can also blame the fact that RF is way too strong for a 6s cd attack.

I do defeat rangers,I do wins game against rangers,but since the patch those rangers become so annoying,cause if one burst hits you,you are as good as dead.I do dodge them when I can.Somtimes you wont be able to evade the burst and this is annoying that your punish for not dodging one simple 6cd attack is death,even backstab gives you a fighting chance.

So what’s up with this whining then? This has nothing to do with a LB ranger using RF on you. It could be a very glassy thief backstabbing you (You can’t see him coming for you if he is in stealth, so how can you evade that but can’t evade a channeled skill that you can see/hear?), a warrior hunderblading or any other class using one of their more or less powerful skills as you would die anyways in that situation. You seem to be just complaining for the sake of complaining. Maybe you need a new hobby? I heard cross stitching is very relaxing and easy to learn.

Nice video indeed and loved the songs you picked! You sir gots good taste. I like how you were sticking to your traps, shooting through them instead of chasing and fighting outside of them like so many other rangers do. You could take better advantage over the stealth tho, reposition yourself properly before attacking again.

I was actually looking forward to Season 3 because of the achievements. Now that sounds incredibly shallow and not something that a person who only plays wubwub would say, but I was hoping the Season 3 achievements would bring more people into the very empty wubwub maps just like they did during the previous ones too. During the first days of Season 2, the ruins were full of people and had constant fights going on but now.. Yeah. Nevermind.

My launcher works fine now and I can use TP without crashing, but now the launcher won’t autoload. I need to click play button for the taco to kick in. It’s not a big deal to click one button but was wondering what’s causing it? At times it also forgets my password.

Are you sure your pet is in range and actually hitting the target? Nothing happens if your pet is dead/out of range or you lose the target.

Played last night on my Warrior and my Ranger.

Warrior isn’t broken … those people are just whining because a change to the game is a change gasp

Played my Ranger using 0/2/6/6/0. Ate every longbow power ranger I came across on the other team. I think only one put up a fight as he seemed to understand how to evade attacks, use his pet, and wasn’t full glass (kudos to him … told him “gf” after it).

If I was going to complain about something with the mass rangers it’d be the mass number of canines running around trying to knock me on my butt. I can only evade so much … and like to save some of those for players’ big hits … but being knocked on my butt is just as bad as not having a dodge/evade/block ready.

All that said, I’m rusty … I can’t get back to using an axe. It just doesn’t seem to mesh with me any more sadface
