in Tier 1 we have a lot of duels during NA primetime. Mainly JQ vs BG, we do 1v1s, 2v2s, 3v3s.. up to 6. We also have a guild [Duel] with your rank by your server name so we can contact anyone at anytime.

I have been told the real reason for the skill lag is that the cloud servers and their resources cannot accommodate quickly enough and in time for immediate response to the sudden surge and demand for the required resources.

They are working or re-working the code to set a pre-allocated resource to each world based on the average of the population charts.

If running a zerg is effective, I will run a zerg, like a mega monster kittenerg. Because the other team allows me to do so. If running multiple teams is effective against said teams, then running multiple teams will do your job. Because the other team allows me to do so. does running in a zerg make you a lesser person? does running solo make you the god of the battlefields? am sure many of us on here think that, but for those who stopped a moment to read through this, what does it really translate to?

Zerg warfare is actually quite complicated. These days, the zerg is split into 2. One side is the CC part of the zerg wearing heavy pvt gear and the second part is pure dps with dps hitting from side and the pvt grp pushing at a 15 degree angle towards an incoming zerg.

Now that culling is solved ,save for minor lag, skill in such a warfare is becoming more paramount.

Fight these guys alot. They arent easy to spank. Fuzz approved and recommended

I believe the score was JQ 5 and BG 2 for the zerg wipeouts . At first i thought they were the fake WM since they were not so WMish like but was told they are indeed the WM we know. They desperately need tuition.

Waha took a break. FOO has another commander/s. Tonight there were heaps of foo so no they arent going anywhere. I see more PRX during SEA time these days. Other than that, everything during SEA and OCEANIC timezone is the same. I dont know about NA since i never play during NA.

My one and only question. Are you going to ever fulfill your promise to tell the JQ community why you left? You stated twice that you wanted a meeting on our TS to tell us but you never showed up. I mean so far you’ve avoided JQ you didn’t even tell us you were leaving until after reset night with an official announcement on the forums. I figured you owed us as much to at least tell us face to face or as close to it as possible but I guess not.

In all honesty, the thought of informing his own EMP members atleast a week in advance never occurred to him.

Your post can only mean 1 thing – JQ wins by coverage.

What is wrong with BG or SOR getting more coverage? If all 3 servers are on equal footing, that would be the time when servers can finally say “X server’s players are more skilled”

JQ wins by skill,tactic and having good commanders who are loyal to JQ. We care about our ppt and we take pride in being the top class in gw2. JQ also has the highest number of mmo vets around.

If you like fire put points in fire and air.

Actually the most powerful combo in game is thief and mesmer due to extreme burst damage.

In truth an ele is good for any combo.

Ranger +ele is fun as well.

Going to miss Raw and Christina but this decision was made by them unilaterally with no input from the majority of players in the guild. I didn’t hear a single word about it until after they had moved. They expected everyone to follow without giving us any time to consider. That’s where I think the disappointment and sense of betrayal comes from. And that’s why the majority of people chose to stay on JQ. This server is a great community, with many dedicated leaders and players, and most of us don’t want to leave it. We have something great right where we are and while I’m sure the people on DB are great too, JQ is our home. I wish this had been discussed in the guild openly before decisions were made so everyone could put in their own arguments for and against moving. Logging in one day to see so many people missing without a trace isn’t pleasant. Things would have been very different if everyone had been open from the beginning. Backdoor deals and rash decisions are not good policy for any guild.

Thank you everyone on JQ and the leaders of EMP for stepping up when this guild and the server needed you most. JQ is the best community I’ve found on any of the servers, and EMP has a fantastic core of awesome people. I for one am here to stay with JQ and EMP regardless of what happened this week. Whether we were crushing HoD or getting our butts kicked for months by SoS, this community has been resilient, strong, and friendly. I wouldn’t trade JQ for anything.

FOO and EMP are so large that both have over 2 dozen commanders. Even if half of them left(as in emp case) the guilds are still so large that fielding half of the full time players will still shift the tide.

JQ is huge, players loyal and skilled.

I come from a DAoC background.

And in the 10 years of playing rvrvr aka wvw warfare, i have seen guilds reach peaks and suddenly vanish, reform or merge.

The only certainty in life is uncertainty.

Rawnoodles is a good young teenager , but if he had planned this 1 week in advance with everyone getting a chance to hear why, it would have been better. Look at his posts, just a few days ago his thanking JQ and how well we have done. Then poof!, Hey guys we are now moving. Im not sure this is the reason why 80% of the emp crew stayed,perhaps they are like me, JQ for eva, but any respect i have for raw is greatly tarnished. With that said, im sure oxy will accept raw back, but i doubt he would allow raw to be GM again.

I don’t think enough JQers are assessing the situation realistically. Losing the both of them at the same time is going to hurt us in the long run.

Out of curiosity did the EMP and Co that left know that Waha was quitting the game beforehand? Cause if so, we know why they left and I guess a smart move if they were looking to leave while on top and create another competitive T1 server. Makes a lot more sense now.

Ran with some EMP guys over the weekend. I have a feeling that when the dust settles EMP on JQ will be just as strong as ever, maybe more so. Good luck to the guys that left, better luck to those that stayed.

I had fun today. Missed a few of the usual Asian emp crew, but atleast 70% of them were still there. If anything, this as made EMP stronger.

This is from Waha himself because he isn’t able to jump FOO around. He is committed to one BL.

I have been on many many many times SEA and there are only queues on whichever map FOO decides to hop to. Not everyone gets in when they hop because they fill up the queue really fast.

Even then, it’s 5 minutes tops.

Stick to talking about things on your own server. You’d think you’d just transfer to JQ and get it over with you talk about us so much.
