I want the Dragon Wings really… Don’t care about the event other wise.

Will events like Dragon Bash be repeatable yearly, or is it a one time event?

I wanted to know what settings in the graphics pane are CPU intensive? I have Shadows and Reflections turned off; is there any other settings that are controlled by the CPU rather than the GPU?

I don’t see why people are shocked… Like this was going to do anything to better Wv3. Anyway, after seeing what Anet has done to fix the game(Absolutely Nothing); I don’t plan them to do anything serious anytime soon… Every aspect(Wv3/PvE/sPvP) are terrible! Why even bother discussing it anymore?

As far as the console stuff? This is perhaps the best mmo game engine I have ever seen as far as using multiple cores.

PvP was such a disappointment in GW2 for me… It sucks, because I actually looked forward to playing a lot of sPvP/tPvP before release.

Could do how League of Legends does it… I wouldn’t ban the player from the entire game, just from sPvP or tPvP. Not like Anet cares tho!

The optimization in this game is terrible. For PvE playing by yourself you’ll run around 50 – 60 fps (Med – High settings). I have the a little better than you GTX 470 and that’s what I get. For Wv3 the fps is around 40 unless you’re in large scale fights which will be around 10 fps no matter what your settings are. Not really something that can be fixed by hardware, as people with amazing setups and overclocked get terrible FPS at times…

If by “optimization” you’re referring to terrible fps in large scale WvW/DEs, the answer is no. They did fix culling, but large fights will still bring even the best rigs down to 25-30fps (with WvW culling options lowered).

Yes… Terrible FPS in large scale battles. Could care less about the rest of the game… I’ll check back in another 6 months. Thank You!

If you’re already complaining about that, then you’re really going to complain when you see how the game is poorly optimized and riddled with bugs. Even saying anything about it on the forums gets your account infracted…. I would just wait for ESO or something else done the road. Guild Wars 2 just isn’t worth it at this point. They’re supposed to be working on redoing the entire engine, but no one knows when that is going to finished if ever at all.

They already said in a podcast that a few people are working on recoding the entire engine… You can use Google to look it up yourselves!

Devs already said in this forum that they’re using a new formula to calculate the rankings… I’m sure you guys can find the thread, and figure out that JQ isn’t leaving T1. It even says it on the Millennium site, and how the rankings aren’t to be taken into account for the week; since no one knows what the new ranking formula is going to be but Anet.

Optimization is terrible, and everyone including the devs know this. Hopefully it gets fixed, but who knows…?

The problem isn’t that the update has been pushed back to March, just that there isn’t any useful updates to fix the core problems like lag, culling, and fps/cpu optimizations. Hopefully ESO gets it right…

If anet handles this poorly, which is fairly likely, this change could very well be the end of competitive play in wvw. All hail the zerg.

My support tickets haven’t been answered for months. When I have a problem with moderation on the forum trying to figure out why. My account gets an infraction, and then I’m told to email forums@arena.net; which I do and also never gets answered or dealt with.

So how am I supposed to get any help with my issues since you don’t: deal with my tickets, don’t respond to my emails, and just keep deleting my threads and handing out infractions until I’m suspended. Is there a number I can call? Really getting to the point of I’m just going to go play something else and stop buying content. There are plenty of other games that don’t treat their customers like c_r(a-p.

This is the last time I’m going to post about it; if nothing is done or my post has been deleted for the hundredth time. Don’t worry… I will have moved on to bigger and better thanx!

I do agree that fixing the problem from the little QQer’s about disconnecting was pretty stupid. There is so many other issues more important then some noob losing his/her loot. I play a lot of classes and get mad loot all the time with varieties of gear. If people were actually good they would get so much loots like me, and not really care about the few lost bags. In reality not a lot of people were disconnecting to not get killed. It was probably less than 5% if not less.

But, when the kiddies cry… kitten gets fixed! :P

After taking a month off and playing some other games I logged on today to play some Wv3… The lag, culling, and everything in between is still terrible. It’s actually harder to play through the problems after taking a month off because you really see how bad it is.

Well this thread got moderated to death lol. No one wants to post on these forums because the moderators are out of control with peoples content.

I would go into detail about the huge amount of issues and how a real fix is a long shot away. I’ve already done that and Anet is obviously not concerned with fixing the issues. I just wanted to post about my experience of coming back in a month to give feedback about the lack of changes.

Hoping Anet can get their priorities straight and fix the problems, but after playing Guild Wars 1 I don’t see that ever happening… It’s a tragedy!

Downstate is the worst invention for PvP, and what’s worse is when a company can’t admit to these types of mistakes…

It might also be your account was closed in error. If you wrote a ticket and got no response after 3 days just post your ticket numebr in the “older than 3 days” thingiethreat.

The suspension is for 3 days, so waiting two weeks to get a response back from Anet on how they’re a bunch of derps wouldn’t really fix my problem…

I already sent in a ticket, still waiting on a response…

When the login servers were down for 4 hours a couple of months ago I posted in a thread about it. My exact words…

“Same problem waiting on fix”

Which is what most people said in the thread… Later I got an infraction for being inappropriate on the forums. I emailed the forums email a number of times and never got a response back to why something like that could be considered inappropriate. A prime example of how Anet moderators are over doing it… How they never fix or admit to their mistakes. Anet has the worst support I’ve ever seen, and the moderation is like Nazi Germany… It’s pretty ridiculous…

Anyway good luck, even tho he won’t get his name back as support or moderators could careless about what you think…

I got a 3 day ban for being to good in sPvP… The only reason I can think of anyway…

So I took some time off from playing Guild Wars 2 for about 2 weeks and started playing again today. I did some sPvP for a few hours, sold some stuff on the auction house and quit playing. I go to logon and it says I have a 72 hour ban for inappropriate language. I never typed a word or used the forums for weeks. How can I get a ban for not ever saying anything inappropriate? This has to be some sort of mistake…

I got 9 ectos on 3 Rares last night, and then 4 ecto on 6 rares today… Working as intended.
