I fight more invisible players then ones I can actually see. I always thought lag was the worst enemy in PvP, but now I think invisible players are. Lag is second, and honestly this is getting old. How long are people going to wait around for a fix for this, because it ruins Wv3 imo.

The only problem I see with EU players is that sPvP is laggy and Wv3 is fine. So merge the servers and make sPvP use regional servers to play. Problem solved…

Try killing the defenders before killing the keep lord?
In the massive spam of people like that fight, we were lucky to even see enemy players.
He missed the point, even if the Keep Lord stayed dead it would be ridiculous to cap anyway. That isn’t the problem… It’s just stupid that the Keep Lord can be resurrected so many times w/o any penalty.

Kinda blows… We would of got second place and even first if ET did better in the morning hours. We always held first in our prime time against the other two servers no problem, it was just HoD and SBI would come around and grab everything in the morning. It’s an issue that most of us are aware of and are currently working on. I feel bad for these two servers that are about to get crushed tho. Hopefully we can find more night crew guilds to hold down the fort in ET while the NA players sleep. Once we get there, we will be number 1…

I’m on ET… Not like I’m complaining. It’s just *f *u n n y sitting there all this time in a corridor killing the keep lord over and over again, and watching him be resurrected by invisible SBI players that no one can see. We’re just laughing about it in Teamspeak… It’s still a problem that doesn’t make since; why should people be able to resurrect their lord without any consequence?

There needs to be a cool down or diminishing return on keep lord Resurrection. I’ve been in the SM Keep Room for 2 hours now, and the Keep Lord has been resurrected like 30 times now… Honestly I’ve lost count awhile ago, but it’s pretty ridiculous. Wv3 in its current state overall is just pretty broken; this is one of many things in Wv3 that need to be fixed.

Yes this needs to be account bound. It’s not fair to the people that take up leadership rules to be bound to one character. It’s a hard job as is, and they deserve to have fun like the rest of us.

Are you sure your AoE ikitten anything? I get about 50 an hour as a Thief and I AoE everything. killing people on siege equipment generates a lot of loot bags, build a Ballista and defend something.

Maybe we should just take away all skills from the game and just have auto attack. It would make the game easier then actually learning tactics to overcome feats. The game might be less fun, but hey… If one skill goes, they all gotta go.

It’s a bug where the lighting from the quaggan hits the orb and kills it; rendering the keep lord invulnerable.

Ya I think the transfers need to go altogether. What is stopping people from doing this anyway. Say Anet puts a 5 day ban on Wv3, what stops people from transferring early to do the same thing. Say on a Wednesday(Easy to calculate where servers will be next week by this time.) people from server A transfer to server B to setup this same cheesing strategy. By Monday they can just transfer back to their original server then other people can just repeat this process. For this to work, we need something longer like a 2 week ban. When 2 week matches roll around, we will need something longer.

So there seems to be a problem with Wv3 and population. Very few servers have the night time players to handle Wv3; while others don’t and just creamed over and over. On the other side is people flocking to certain servers because of their rankings and population sizes. This leads to other servers with not enough people to go up against the bigger servers. In the end this will only lead to one thing…
A handful of servers being able to successfully handle Wv3, and majority of servers left to reap. Also the bracket will be meaningless because the same servers will be in the top of the bracket and will not be competitive.
Since Anet decided that EU players can’t guest between NA and EU servers(Because EU players want to play on NA servers for Wv3, and guest on EU servers for lower ping in sPvP.), this has made playing on NA servers tasteless for EU/Oceanic players. Anet can’t expect NA players to be up on a Tuesday at 5am just to hold their stuffs in Wv3, and obviously people are going to need players from adequate timezones playing to compete in Wv3.
My proposed solutions to these problems:
(Quick easy fix)
- Let EU players guest between NA and EU servers.
(Not so easy, not so quick)
- Make sPvP it’s own entity and sPvP localized to location. Meaning if you’re an EU player playing on NA server, you can easily join sPvP games on EU based servers.
(Most competitive fix)
- Make Wv3 queue fairly(Like Tol Barad queuing system in WoW.) where each server has the same number of players on each map.
Meaning each server will always have an equal amount players on the maps at all times. If 10 people from server A) are on Red borderlands, that means only 10 people from server B and C can be in the map; regardless of how many are in the queue.
This will keep Wv3 on a competitive level at all times and will be the best solution to fixing population imbalance. On this note, obviously people aren’t going to transfer on their own accord and was ridiculous to think they would in the first place. If people can’t get into Wv3 because their server population are too high and the other servers are to low, people will start moving to the other servers to get into the queue.
These are my ideas and thank you for taking the time to read and input on my given solutions.
TL;DR – Get on my level!

anet needs to abolish “euro” servers, and let the rest of them join with the US, make a few more servers and now we have a spread out night crew for everyone
The main issue for EU players is the Lag in sPvP. If they could just split sPvP with the rest of the game and have specific sPvP servers you could join in game. for instance a EU sPvP server, everything would workout fine.

I’m not even sure half of you know what retaliation even does.
Retaliation – is a boon which reflects some incoming damage back to its source. Damage returned is fixed per level and scales with power, increasing damage by 1 for every 13.4 power. At level 80, base damage is 267.

You’ll just have everyone going for max damage specs instead of trying to do something more useful to the team as a whole.
Actually you won’t do as much damage compared to a balance build or other builds because you’ll be dieing to fast. 1v1 sure you’ll do fine, but in larger scale battles you’re going to drop like a rock. Berserker builds are better for sPvP, but balance builds are better for WvWvW imo.

Still doesn’t change the fact that some people are doing it wrong. If I had to guess people are probably tapping targets and not doing enough applied damage to get rewarded. After countless hours of doing WvWvW I’ve come to the conclusion that you need to do a % amount of damage to a target; dependent on the damage of what the other attackers are doing.
For example if 50 people hit a defender 1 time and he dies, they all get a chance to get loot. If 3 people are attacking a defender and 1 person does 90% damage and the other 2 do 5% damage each, then the person with 90% applied damage has either A) the sole chance to get loot, or B ) a higher percentage of getting loot then the other two players.
In the end… Do more damage to the targets you’re hitting. Get a ballista or an Arrow Cart and watch the loot pile up. I gotta jump of mine all the time just to pick up all the bags lol.

I like how Anet is good at answering issues that don’t matter.
Anyways… Back to the real issue. Yes this needs to be account wide so no one is forced to play a single character. It’ ridiculous to expect people to pay 100g for every character, and is inefficient. This should be something given from an achievement rather then buying it. This way only experienced WvWvW players would have the icon.

No… because we would still be left with the huge issue of invisible players and high immense of lag during peak hours. If they upgraded their hardware it would alleviate these issues. If people are experiencing high queue times, and not transferring to low populated severs that is their problem; as it has already been fully discussed. No need for a 5th map, just spread the community.

You’re on ET, the third(?) best server. You should expect high queue times because people from the servers that you have beaten jumped ship to bask in your awesomeness and clog your queues.
What does that have to do with their hardware not being able to handle the current number of clients? If that’s the case, then why are we still the lowest populated server? Should think before you speak…

Give outmanned a stat boost.
Bonus karma sure, 50 points per tick… No. That would be like having 3 old SM’s which would be absurd weather you’re losing or winning.
