i understand people always use double teaming as a liable strategy, but this is ridiculous. JQ/SOR have been working on double teaming EBG keep for almost 4 hours now. I think you guys are now just at it still just to salvage your pride at this point
Why complain about it? Revel in the fact that it took them that long double-teaming the keep to actually take it, with outer walls like swiss cheese and zero supply.
I have a concern about how crappy your melee are. I mean really? Dying on impact 9/10 times versus us is not how melee should be running. I’m giving lessons Tues-Weds next week feel free to drop me a tell.
I wasn’t in the group that wiped the people setting up this GvG… Just stating that what they did was just them playing the game.
And I’m stating that house rules are rules, even if they aren’t “official” or binding, and that a community isn’t just a server its a collection of people.
The 1v1 and GvG community does exist, and the “neutral zone rule” does exist albeit unofficially.
Alright then so why complain about getting destroyed while people are playing the game the way it was intended rather than by the way others try to make it? Might I suggest a better place to do your mini events? To not only cry about it but to call another guild who was out killing people from the other server has made this nothing but a simple joke. FEAR did not preemptively plan on attacking. They just saw a bunch of red names and killed them.

Can’t get bags in the field so FEAR has to resort to breaking the unspoken truce zone that everyone has set aside for GvG? This is the one spot where people from each server can come and stand next to each other to watch a small skirmish and build some sort of community between each of the competitive servers. There’s a thing called honor that people live by, and you sir, do not have it. This is blatant disrespect to the community everyone has helped build. I hope you enjoy being roflstomped by JQ and BG.
I think it’s time we as a community show FEAR and by extension SOR that we do not take kindly to interference in GvG fights.
Friends, I call for a 72 hour red team lockout in T1.
Then people started hearing about SoR’s awesome fights and transferred to us, and we wound up getting pushed into T1 much to MANY a SoR player’s chagrin.
You either have bandwagonners hop on your server because it has developed a rep…or like Blackgate and others did, you chase other guilds and beg and plead and promise cookies.
You should seriously think about getting into comedy, you are amazing.
..and keep the crying and whining to the maximum.. especially in this forum. Seriously about 90% of the whining came from BG forumers… Not saying all BGs are like that though
What I’m saying is its interesting to look back 3 weeks ago. The T1 thread was a cesspool of trolling and whining but BG was off in Yakland a.k.a. T2 sharing cookies and sunshine with our good friends TC and Kain (the most hated server T3 and under).
It’s this tier that seems to brings out the worst in us, because despite BG’s reputation as having some of the most incessant forum warriors it only seems to happen when we enter into T1 and when we are facing SOR (for 8 weeks in t2 was it?).
If you want to see real forum whining try and dig up some of the old SBI/JQ/BG threads where BG got its bad rep from. Introduce T1 to the portal bomb and suddenly BG becomes Hackgate.

After reading your post and then looking at your user name I think you owe me a new keyboard.
I can assure you that the TS3 channel I am in at least is clear of cross-server spying. We generally just have decent scouts with working mics.
As far as kitten-wads pulling your golems out of safe areas to suicide them, I know that feel bro. I cannot begin to count how much gold our major guilds waste weekly because of golem-jackers.
Especially when a certain commander has one to many martinis and goes on a building spree…..
Not to mention all of the Maguuma acolytes we must have on Blackgate trying to spread the word of the Great Lord Flameram in every camp and tower we own.

Seems to be the other way around from what I hear. You do realize I’ve got many friends in Blackgate, a lot of which were former KnT that left your guild for one the reasons I did – poor leadership and nothing getting done. They’re so far the only people to have wiped me. Meanwhile every time I’ve seen KnT they’re getting wiped or fleeing. I will say it was enjoyable getting 2 bags after stomping you yesterday.

My guild that I represent isn’t a WvW guild, and was busy doing FOTM while I was stomping BG, and the only death I had was from a cliff. Yeah forgot to turn my trait on.
Secondly, Icoa…. I only see 1 fight where there are TW dead bodies… and that fight isn’t even the full fight. You should link the full fight I am sure the rest of the people would get a kick out of it.
This screen was less about the fight and more about the loot bags (30ish from that one spot) i didn’t even know i had because they weren’t rendered. I got quite a shock when I spammed F and got invisible loot.

3:10 seconds in or so is the briar fight I am talking about the only fight where I see TW bodies. And you cut that video short. The hills fight was a good take we didn’t expect that many people to be honest and choo went to defend it by themselves. I wasn’t there for the take but choo was up there by the trebs getting ready to port TW in as you hit them. TW was still a minute out as I recall. I was up there with choo when you hit. And I have to say I wish my culling was as clear as yours was Can’t wait for them to remove it.
I could have sworn I saw at least 1 TW actually jump off with my own eyes, and several TW tags in the group.
At that point in the fight the culling wasn’t as bad as most of you guys had already re-spawned and we were just cleaning up (Joker was just starting to appear when i took the pic). That initial push though I almost crashed there was so much aoe crammed onto that ramp.
Also I have nothing to do with the video recordings or edits, that’s Nash and probably 1 other person. I’m not sure what goes on with that whole process.
No. Not fearing or mad. The future is already set. Even a lot of “natives” of the server have left and the only reason I’m still there is because my guild is and if I were to transfer back to T1, it would be to SoR.

If Blackgate hasn’t imploded after dropping out of T1 twice, I don’t foresee another T1 loss as the end of Blackgate. I truly am sorry that your server fell apart, but you come off as needing to vent your pent up rage at BG for tak… erm excuse me… “buying” your guilds.

This isn’t the Briar assault which I’m thinking is the fight you are referring too, but there was several skirmishes around Hills that we did win, and several that we lost.
This was the fight were we took out the trebs on the far corner of the wall (40+ SOR (TW/CHOO compposite) and probably close to that of BG (15ish Icoa and the rest MERC/GoF), and at this point in the pic most of the dead SOR had released. There were several dead TW as well, but I did see about 5-7 TW that had hopped off the edge towards the end.
Not exactly a full TW wipe but meh they were running a composite guild group and as far as I am concerned only a few from the SOR group ran away while the rest died. That a wipe correct? Can I count it as a TW wipe if the CHOO/TW group as a collective wiped even though half the TW escaped?

Hahaha. Stop crying scrub. How many more times does BG need to stack before they finally win t1 LOL. I mean yeah JQ got a kitten load of guilds, but they weren’t all hardcore wvw guilds. BG on the other hand absorbed probably about 85% of SoS’s wvw population (around about 10 hardcore wvw guilds) on top of what they already had and still fail to win. Kk.
It took a JQ call to arms and a simultaneous deliberate focusing of SOR’s wvw pop to curb Blackgate but okay, your server imploded and now your wvw experience is probably terrible right now. I get it you are probably angry and scared about the future of your server.

I met this Nigerian prince online and he’s hooking Blackgate up with some serious dough once I help him transfer a small fortune out of his war-torn homeland.
It couldn’t have come at a better time as the pastry bubble caused by our overproduction of delicious cookies is on the verge of popping and tear inflation (the official tier 1 currency) is at an all time high.
I especially like the new invisible waypoint they put in between Blackgate Hill and Mendon’s Gap.
Those 15 JQ squatters camping down in the valley between Mendon’s and Hill gave me quite the surprise when I realized I was in fact not safe and sound inside the keep as intended.
Actually most people on SoR wanted blackgate to beat jqq at least once. I don’t think anyone went out of their way, its just sometimes easier to take stuff from whomever is weakest at the time. …. ….. …. Or maybe JQ made us a better offer, get mad!
