Quite frankly, there’s only 1 server in this tier that has historically done this kind of stuff both in game and out.

The sooner they get booted out of the tier the better as far as I’m concerned. This morning, someone spammed rams again while BG was attacking us. Drained us in less than 30 minutes. It’s getting old and tiresome.

Correlation does not equal causation. Prove that he is from Blackgate and not a jilted Jade Quarry player. There are currently (and have been for months) players on Blackgate doing the same thing, as well as Darkhaven and Tarnished Coast.

Blackgate loves Tarnished Coast, so why are the siege cappers on TC as well?

There has been an extensive history of unscrupulous behavior in Tier 1 regardless of which servers were there. One of the most famous youtube thieves is a JQ native, He popularized the solo wall jumping exploit and used it frequently.

No one on JQ would engage in this behavior? Nice claim, now prove it.

This phenomenon apparently has spread to Darkhaven and Tarnished Coast. The Devs say they are aware of this issue and are working on way to resolve it but we’ll see.

The facts are this: JQ can take 1st place without trying. BG can take first place by burning themselves out. Lets not forget you guys took first place then took 3rd place the week after it. You cannot sustain 1st place. SoR could probably do the same thing as BG but that is not our playing style. We are not going to force people to log in for 16 hour shifts for 4 days in a row to make sure we get 1st place for a week.

SoR hits JQ just as hard as they do BG. And JQ hits SoR just as hard as they do BG. On SoR we boast we have the best NA… Maybe, maybe not. But I have to say we have the most resilient NA. We push people off of BLs every night… Yet I have never been pushed off of a map. (until people start logging off for the night) We have had a few bad nights as all servers have. So I shouldn’t say it never happens but it is very rare that we pull out of a map.

At the end of the week we don’t care if we are 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. You know why? Because every week we are getting stronger. And we have fun playing. As a game should be. If you treat a game as though it is a second job, I sure as hell hope you are a professional gamer and are actually getting paid for it. Because at the end of the day bragging rights are only relevant in the present. A few weeks, months, or years down the line things will change and no one will care that you won.

Lots of overtime was had. Many major guilds on SoR also ran NA events in Asian time zone(people were told to wake up early if they are on the east coast). It’s actually become the norm now to help out our Asians who lack the numbers until we get more transfers.

You do realize the first few weeks SoR was in Tier 1, JQ was a powerhouse server, BG just absorbed 75% of SoS and SoR was just SoR (+ 90% of SBI and various other transfers).

And all I said was I hope SOR guilds weren’t using it, especially since a select few like to bring up asterisks next to BG’s win.

Can’t tell if serious. We were running insta-queue before we were in inner. I’m not sure what BG was at but it certainly wasn’t much less than us on a favorable estimate 0_o

There was probably in the range of 60-70 Blackgate, but of those only 30-40 were actually fighting. I’m not sure why the rest weren’t running back (The WP timer was off anywhere from 10 sec to 1 minute, easier to just hoof it) but we few were the ones who held of both JQ and SOR’s massive zergs.

Once SOR retreated the skill lag seemed to recede. I can’t wait (hope) until Anet decides to upgrade their hardware so all of us can play inside the hot mess that is Garrison inner.

At the beginning of the video the tower is still red (SOR), it flips at about 1:12 just as you are engaging in the lord room. I must have missed the timing of the flip when i made that first reply, as there really wasn’t much that could have been done to stop the cap aside from moving into the tower sooner.

Still great video. Turning a lost tower into a farm fest is always fun.

Sometimes my client completely closes and ill get the submit a report window, sometimes it just closes without any pop-up and other times it will DC me from the game with a Internet/ Firewall problem which has to be a server side issue as i remain in TS3 talking.

Only begun happening since the 26th patch, even with most of my settings on lowest.

On the bright side, I’m worth 60 WXP xD

There is absolutely no evidence that 2v1ing exists in this game.

We over on SoR strive to promote healthy competitive game-play and we do not have commanders who get mad and seek revenge when he is escorting a yak and an enemy zerg kills it just before its entered the tower.

Can’t comment on the video as it seems to be private.

However I think you (and most posters) are confusing 2v1 with organized 2v1. 2v1 happens, I’ve seen it happen a lot to BG, groups I’ve ran with have picked there targets based on the movements of the other servers (creating a 2v1). There is plenty of evidence for this, and it is part of the 1v1v1 dynamic.

2v1 happens.

Organized 2v1, meaning 2 servers communicating to target the third server is what every one seems to think when they see 2v1. This is not a natural part of the 1v1v1 dynamic.

While I have heard anecdotal evidence of a SOR commander contacting ICoa to create a temporary organized 2v1 in the past, I have personally never actually experienced it first hand. I doubt there is any evidence of this happening beyond word of mouth.

The ques are still having issues, my GM logged on late, qued and was in in 15 minutes. Meanwhile several of us had been on for 45-60 min and still hadn’t gotten in before he even logged on. For the same map. kitten you kin!)

A few had been in que for upwards of 2 hours before I even got on and I got in before them.

You may need reset your que by re logging.

We didn’t pay guilds to transfer according to my information (just assist a few who were struggling to get the money after their guilds had already transferred over), but maybe you have a better source. I’d love to see what proof you have of your claims.

And the mass exodus of SoS guilds to BG only after two consecutive losses is a display of real sportsmanship? Unfortunately this is a game and sportsmanship is an afterthought since the anonymity of the internet pretty much allow you to do or post whatever you want without real consequences and repercussions.

I’m not saying the transfers were or weren’t sportsman like. All I am saying is that JQ being gracious winners is quite the stretch since we seem to be attributing the behavior of a few to the entire server they represent.

Veil is still a very useful ability in large fights. It may be terrible for trying to sneak up on opponents in an open field now but I used it to great effect last night.
