I tend to look at healthbars of what I’m shooting, not sure if you noticed but the guild is mentioned there too. I noticed the guild, I went “oh, hey, wonder if it’s the same guy who’s been ranting at us” and moved on with the killing.

Admittedly, the only reason i even remember the guild is because your posts here, i couldn’t tell you what other guilds were in the zerg, feeling flattered yet you left such a deep and lasting impression on me?

Edit: I never said i beat TC, i saw “some” in the zerg, for all i know there was 1 person playing and we killed him…. twice i think i saw a TC tag. Might’ve been more, kitten if i know /shrug
I also didn’t play WAR except for the free month, and that casually, so i came nowhere near you, CIR, or any other serious pvp guild, so i couldn’t care less about how awesome you were in WAR or who hated who there

Xaoc is 500 members, if I’m not mistaken, exact numbers would have to come from them.
However, i don’t imagine all of those wake up at the same time, or have time in the morning to do the capping. I consistently wake up at 12-13h CET, if i do wake up earlier its usually because i have to do something and still won’t log on, or play seriously, until the afternoon. I doubt i’m the only one who doesn’t log on immediatly, or wakes up early.

Hmmm, maybe i should take part of their zerg, not sleepy yet anyways.

I even checked because i was having a “friendly conversation” with somebody earlier in this thread (might’ve been you? kitten if i know, it was a SFR) where I explained i’ve been logging off early lately due to illness and that i’d see today if i could stay a bit later to check what the score was Right before i logged off, because, you know, stomping claims.

Sure, being steamrolled is no fun, but from all acounts you actually do have some decent guilds, so it’s extremely unlikely that would’ve happened.

We have advertised, and an American guild has expressed interest in possibly checking us out, but as far as i’m aware, we have no American presence except maybe for very few individual players.
We have a gap between EU primetime and the Russian morning

About the colours: I checked twice on the actual map, once where a very large part/most of the map (except SFR) was red, and a bit later where all borderlands (except SFR) were fairly even.
I didn’t look again later because there was nothing in the points difference which surprised me to the extent i wondered where it was going wrong

What you do then is you ask a guild, possibly a smaller one which has still a decent grasp of tactics, to go there and get the randoms organised and/or realise that the BT presence on SFR borderlands is a threat which you should take care of, going all “oh we would’ve had you if only we had the presence on SFR” is laughable when you actually have a way of making sure there is.

I can claim we were leading most of the time because i popped open the wvw points summary quite often, sure there were times you were ahead, i’m not denying that, but for the majority of it, you were below us.
Sometimes by as little as five points, sometimes by more than 50, while when we were behind, it wasn’t really by that much in general.
Think there was once where i looked and went “wtf just happened?” looked at the map, most of the other borderlands were red, looked a bit later and there was a fairly even split of blue, red and green again and we were ahead again too.

It’s also generally a bad idea to repost deleted posts, they were deleted for a reaso, f you remove the reason, sure they might stay up, but going THIS REMOVED kinda is the same as not removing it

When we don’t want pugs along, our Commander turns off “the magnet” as he calls it. Since we are on TS together, he can coordinate us just fine on there.
If you’re a good skilled group, you don’t need the icon to know where you’re going

BT doesn’t have an American guild right now afaik, though apparently there is one looking at BT as a possibility

We were in SFR, there was a pretty large SFR zerg there actually, and Riverside had both a zerg and the Red Guard (ouch ouch ouch) there. We were running like mad all over the place :p

22h25 CET, my illness is forcing me to stop for the night, while you ahve come up equal, and been pretty decently ahead for a short time, nothing what i would call “stomping” was done

Honestly, with a pvp system like this, there shouldnt have been any separation to begin with.

if there was no separation from the start there would have been 0 problems because ALL servers would have had 24-7 crews in shifts, hence no problem. The problem only comes due to anets poor handling of the issue.

Though there would still be unofficial <something> servers, the problem would be nowhere near as bad as it is now.

I’m good at PvE, I’m useful in an organised group in WvW, I ahve no idea how i am in sPvP, i seemed “okay” in the random puggy environment, but don’t really see the relevance to WvW, which is an entirely different game.

Only game i’ve been good at in arena-type playing was SWtOR because nobody else ran my build and they didnt know how to counter, but that doesn’t mean that I was a bad player in any of those games.

I actually do speak French, however i have to admit i’m pretty happy on Blacktide, I also ahve 0 interest on moving to Desolation no matter how much i love them /shrug
(Actually, the guild i was going to join in beta was on Desolation, ended up joining a small friend’s guild somewhere else instead though)

I’ll see if i can stay up a bit later tonight to see exactly when it is that you start stomping us…. making the PPT equal’ish isn’t considered stomping btw, and thats all i’ve seen so far except on screens from around 3 am i believe?

Honestly, with a pvp system like this, there shouldnt have been any separation to begin with.

I don’t think they will, European servers have Russians, and NA servers have SEA/Oceanics as “natural” presence. To limit “offhour” capping points would be like telling those players that their contributions don’t matter, even if they play in their primetime, simply because they don’t fit normal NA/Western European timezones.

Actually, we transferred because our old server wasn’t very WvW focused, and we were. As our guild has history with Xaoc in another game, and Blacktide as a server has a rather hardcore pvp mentality, we came to try it out, found it suited us better and stayed.

We don’t claim to be PvP gods, just as you don’t come over as taking pride in your server. Instead, you come off as arrogant whiny <something>, refusing to recognise that anyone else than you might actually be half-decent. Except if you’re not up against them, then it’s all like “Hahaha you just wait until you’re up against that server which kicked our kitten #8221;.

I at least recognise that even when we’re losing, we put up a good fight and had fun doing so, all YOU do is complain about everything.
I’ve been ill this week so haven’t been able to play much, but even if I had been playing, I wouldn’t have admitted to any good fights against SFR because honestly, at this point I don’t feel you deserve my recognition for your efforts.

Good thing that I’m pretty sure you couldn’t care less about my opinion.

Pity i have to agree supply tents would be way overpowered, would make life too easy.
Same for the waypoint tent tbh.

When you spanked BT before, they had next to no primetime, you might want to remember that when you’re boasting

I quite like them, only to watch them eat through the doors at amazing speed though, and ofc portalbombing “Now your door is safe…. NOW ITS NOT”
Also, it’s always nice to take down other people’s golems of course.

They’re not exactly my weapon of choice, but then again i’m not fond of using any siege myself, leaving that to our siege nutters.

As mentioned in the thread, Blacktide isn’t just looking for NA guilds, but also welcoming people for several other timeslots, including EU primetime.

Mmm, i feel we do pretty well primetime in general, though we can’t be everywhere at the same time, and we could actually use some more primetime guilds, as i’m pretty sure is mentioned earlier in this thread.

No queues doesn’t mean no people, and if they just came for PvDoor, they got a nasty surprise when they met our Russian Overlords (all hail Xaoc!) in Tier 3

By this i mean to point out that they’re not PvDooring, and we’re not complaining about their presence btw

Clearly, there is some competition at night since the SFR guy is so proud of the scores at this hour :p

When i logged off (think it was around 21h CET), all 3 servers were doing pretty decent score-wise, in a good competition way. While we were still slighlty ahead in tick points, both SFR and RS were putting up a fight and some towers and keeps were going back and forth.

Sadly enough, I’ve been unable to play much later in the evening/night, so i don’t know what it turns into then, but I do know that we are organised and competent, despite some people’s beliefs ;p

That is strange since Blacktide have total domination 12-14 hours a day. We are talking 3-5 times the player numbers of Seafarer’s. Sometimes we are even outnumbered 10-15 vs 1. I guess that Blacktides “EU” timezone go all around the world then

Blacktide has a fairly hardcore WvW population, and we do have a considerable gap of a few hours between our last large group and the Russians playing in the morning.
It’s not our fault if your server doesn’t have the same drive, or early morning players.

We were up against Desolation last week, they won, not because of their American presence in our gap, but because they managed to get together as a server and organise a very strong daytime presence to counter ours, 10k before we caught up with them.
They started out ahead because of that nighttime presence, but it wasn’t what made them win.

As far as i’ve heard the American – EU servers split was mostly done for administrative reasons, the EU servers aren’t even based in EU.
The people doing the “nightcapping” are in timezones which are a few hours ahead of us, its morning/daytime for them and if they hadn’t just gotten an influx of some western European based guilds, you’d be the ones doing the nightcapping for them as they go to bed.

I played against Desolation and the reason we nearly beat them was because of our Russians combined with a strong daytime presence meeting little to none resistance.
Desolation however managed to pull together when we were something like 10k behind, and that was in the middle of the week.

If you’re losing due to daytime, simply do the same as you did with us?

Laughing quite hard earlier at the lone Guardian from Up Gaming Portugal who stubbornly kept coming to block our way. Pretty awesome!

It was amazingly fun playing this week, and i’m sad that i became a bit sick and missed some epic fights apparently!

Blacktide always welcomes more people.
We’re currently in t3 (one of the “safe zones” mentioned above) with an above average focus on WvW and a lot of WvW focus guilds.
I’ve been told this means the PvE zones aren’t very active, but whenever I do large events I see a fair amount of people still.

We are a European server though, so it depends what you’re looking for, we’re looking for American guilds but as far as I’m aware don’t have them yet so if you’re American, you could feel lonely.
