Still no improvement, reinstalled the game to check if it was clientside, didn’t change anything.
On top of that, now i also have my party bugged occasionally.
It’s “frozen” as in, people who leave are still visible in party for me, i cant leave by:
- right clicking and pressing leave party
- clicking on the little arrow above the party window and leave party
- write leave
I had to restart the game, after which the party window had updated and i could leave.

Mesmer portals arent (or shouldnt be) jumping walls probably is (or kitten well should be), cosnidering i did CM recently and they’d actually removed a rock which made it possible to skip past some nasty mob packs, and that wasnt even jumping Over a wall…..

I waited for a day to see if it would still bug after the patch, and it does.
Since i came online monday (after my internet went out all night sunday), my chat and guild window have been consistently bugged. Friends whispering me occasionally get messages i’m offline (while i’m playing) and i don’t get what they send, i also often can’t send messages, or see guild/party chat. Sometimes the chat simply seems lagged, but i have no lag doing anything else.
Related to guild: I don’t see the guild tags of the people in my guild (and my guild only), though the names are still a different colour (For example, i would see: Soandso [] in orange). Last night i was doing a dungeon with guildies, and while there were a fair amount of people online in the guild, i could Only see us 5 in the guild window. When I’m not grouped, it seems fairly random: Sometimes i see everybody who is online and the guild emblem is showing, if i check 5 minutes later i might only see a few people and no guild emblem showing. Chat doesn’t just not show at the moment itself, it sometimes disappears, like it did just now (Playing windowed and my chat window isn’t showing, 5 minutes ago it showed some guild chat, now it doesnt, while it does show some other stuff which was inbetween the guildchat earlier)
Edit: Oh, i also can’t see the upgrades in progress btw.
Related to group: I have the same problems with chat either lagging or not appearing at all at times, it also looks like my group window sometimes “reloads” (best way i can think of putting it), blinking out and back in. When that happens, i am usually able to chat for a short time before it breaks again.
All this happens regardless of zone
I cosnidered it might be my internet due to it only happening after sunday night, where our entire building suddenly had no internet, but i’m not having internet trouble anywhere else, and i have no lag with skills or anything. On top of that, its not always laggy, sometimes its simply not there or disappears after being there.

As a Charr Ranger, so not exactly stealthy or small, i’ve managed to hide for a bit and report back to the guild as to what was going on, but as soon as they got the keep properly (was a 3way fight with us in the middle and getting crushed from both sides before they turned on each other) and started sweeping (as anyone who just got something should do), i was spotted and cleared out.
You say Mesmer portals require no coordination, but nobody’s going to jump in a portal they dont know where it leads and who else is going in.
Saw a pug enemy group use a portal last night – most of them stayed at the original starting point, just kinda looking on, and those who went through did it so slowly that i managed to kill 1 and down another before they ran off back to the zerg. (omnom loot bag)
The only people who use portals effectively are guild groups, and they use everything effectively. Such as the Guardian skills.
We use Mesmer portals all the time.
Just as we also use a whole bunch of other class-specific things all the time.
We ALWAYS sweep everything we cap, we haven’t had any Mesmer portal trouble ever in any of the keeps we sweeped, and we weren’t jsut sweeping for mesmers, we were sweeping for anything we could find, there should be no enemies in our property.
Fix the exploit, but the portals aren’t a problem.
I dont know about your servers, but on Gunnar’s Hold the commanders are leaders of guilds which donated money towards the books, no usage of gold selling or anything…

Most siege-heavy servers we’ve been up against so far, but nothing stops CIR
Whatever the truth of the ally situation, it kitten well looked like it at times, especially when they were actively working together to keep us in our little camp instead of trying to go for each other’s towers/keeps
Only played against the Germans friday ngiht due to being busy this weekend, but it looked like we could kick their kitten quite easily, so the score when i log on today (sunday 15h) is quite surprising to me :p

There are Europeans playing on American servers, afaik. but there’s more servers with different timezone players there, than there is on the EU side (We have VS with the Canadians, I’ve heard there’s a considerable Oceanic and Asian population on several NA servers)
Commanders can toggle their stuff.
Our Commander does it on and off if he wants to have pure coordinated guild runs instead of having all the pugs follow us, or if we have several commanders on the same map
So me and some guildmates jsut cleared CoF path 3 (Hunting the new Tribune) and we didn’t get the Dungeon completion thing.
No achievement update, no “Congratulations” and no 15 signets….
Another guildie told us to run around in the dungeon a bit, we did, nothing happened, we also stood around randomly staring at the screen for a bit, nothing…. And yes, I’m sure we completed the dungeon since the gu was most certainly the end boss, the NPC we ran around with acted as if we killed the end boss, and the right hand corner quest thingy didn’t update to something new.
When we tried to zone out and back in, the dungeon had reset completely (which i heard isnt supposed to happen that easily if you’ve not finished a path compeltely?But we didn’t get the credit/congratulations!)
Is this common? Do we have to worry about that each time we do a dungeon?

Us greenies have owned a red keep basically non-stop, the only time we didn’t have it is when the blues managed to take it down late night.
I’ve managed to complete the green borderlands through sheer luck, getting in while we happened to own everything, and as i went around, i saw towers being taken on the map. But a previous time i tried, when i was in another part of wvwvw and saw us having full control, i tried getting in, only to be queued and by the time i did get in, the things i needed were gone.
I’m on 98% atm, slightly frustrating to have to wait while being so close :/
