just because one emperor was tyrannical, does not mean the current one is, what if the emperor is a ‘puppet’ of the ministry of purity, staying in his palace while the ministry run everything; a bit like the earth king from avatar the last airbender. Those who watched avatar will know what I’m talking about.

once we reach Cantha, the imperial guard (still loyal to the emperor) contact us and the story to bring down the ministry and restore the Emperor to actually run his own empire starts

I thought it’d be amazing to re-live fights from the original guild wars eg Undead Lich, Shiro Tagachi, Rotwing, Abaddon, varesh etc. Then that got me thinking that the mists dont just touch tyria, they touch all worlds…. so would it be possible to add battles from Earth? eg, Battle of Hastings 1066, Battle of Stamford Bridge of the same year, or Battle of the Teutoburg Forest; a famous Ancient Rome deafeat in the year 9 EC

i had the same with level 2 – not with the bonfires but with general fractals – i havent been able to get past level 2 in fractals because everytime i try, someone in my party gets booted, i thought arena net said they’d get this sorted but i havent heard anything from them – the disconnections dont bother me – its the not being able to rejoin after that is

the dungeon wont be one time only, you’ll probably be able to play it later
and bubbles wont show up – its just building up to him imo

i was getting annoyed with the you should reset your password’ notice that keeps popping up, i input a new password (9 characters long) but it keeps saying it needs to be more than 8 :/

probably go down to 98% or something but it wont take too long to get it back up to 100, imo those with 100 will keep the title and the gold star but this area wil lstil lcount towards 100% for players who dont have it, ppl who already have those gifts of exploration probably wont get it again

so now that the week of spookiness draws near, arena net has already mentioned some up and coming surprises for guild wars 1 (which i will definitely check out) but what do you guys think of Halloween in a world 250 years older? excited? looking forward? i am
im just worried about the inevitable amounts of lag that will plague players in the areas where the events and quests will occur
but i still hope for lots of candy-coated goodies and the possible appearance of his mad highness, King Thorn. they cant get rid of him after we did all that work to break those seals… right?

i was with a group and we were attacking a supply camp, there was one npc left – the guild claim person, must have been around 20 of us just hammering at this one guy for ages, because of his buff that made him invulnerable, we could only hit him for a 1 second window in every 2 mins
after a while a huge group of enemies came rushing down the hill and killed us all =.=

i thought it was bugged too – we found one of the small shark extras swimming around at the end of the lake – have a look and make sure one of the little sharks hasnt swam off somewhere

i had that problem too – im not sure what yours looked like but for me it was just really slow – it will come back on later with all influence and upgrades eventually, i think its related to my bug thingy in which guild, pm, party invites and apparently mail are all really slow/bugged/non-existent. only map chat seems to work and apparently im not the only one either

isnt turning back the accounts of everyone who did this speed clear kinda harsh and hard to do? if anet wanted to make it super hard to get those items, they wouldnt make the dungeon take 20 mins to clear
and also, they never did anything like that with MQSC or UWSC, FOWSC, CoFSC and any others in gw1, i dont care about bragging rights, i just want items with decent stats
