what i want to know is, if they’re here for a reason, did something put them there on purpose or did they just develop this goal alone? if they were put there by something…this brings me to the original plot idea for guild wars 2, after we take out the EDs and free Elona and Cantha, will Arenanet try and implement that idea? it’d be interesting

i was annoyed i didnt get champion of orr as a title… maybe only trahearne got it? he stole our title just like kormir stole out godhood and kiel stole our credit and our (gnashblade’s) seat on the council!!

i belive that zhaitans only goal is to corrupt and eat magic, what its minions play at means nothing at all to him, its hunger is their hunger, so they feel the need to find magic items and feed them to it, the only time zhaitan came out of its hiding place was when it was cornered, starved, blind and on its last legs… err… wings? i believe that the eonly ‘emotion’ zhaitan feels is rage and hunger, something like that cannot be sapient

logical belief, apparently, (dont hold me accountable for this, i heard it off a friend) the belief of not eating pork for some religions is due to the fact that pork spoiled really quickly in those countries (before fridges) so were told it best to avoid it, this then got taken into religion over time

Zhaitan does not actually command it, that is the job of his lieutenants, if you look at the brand, the destroyers or the ice brood (not sons of Svanir) they’re not organised and free thinking, most are mindless creatures of destruction

you forget, there is no volcano in elona…. however, 350 years later, we have super mega lasers, bet they didnt try that back in the day… if not we can just either chuck him into mount maelstrom, or tie him to a boulder (or seal him in one) and then chuck that into the sea or into the volcano

i have a very strong hunch that the ‘magic wand’ she found at the end of eotn has something to do with her long life, or maybe she received instructions/made a deal with grenthy before the gods cut off communication, she could be his last ‘champion’

and as for catacombs, what happened to the kryta catacombs? i was looking forward to doing that in release.. oh well

the wardens are the protectors of the pale tree, i suppose in theory, some non-sylvari could dedicate themselves to protect the pale tree, however they wouldnt understand what theyre protecting as they dont share the dream

what about the oppression of the people, its all well and good that there is no war in elona but what is peace if the people lose their free will?

i like it, its the only thing that keeps me coming back every two or so weeks, i think this year, the living story is in test mode, after which they shold pick up with some better content, as for people asking for cantha/crystal desert, it will take a LOOOOOONG time, theyd have to create an entirely new continent along with dynamic event chains, npcs, storyline, voice acting, new items/ armor sets, new building types (not just copy,paste,rotate) and new monster types …. you try and make something like that at the level of the rest of tyria

id like to slay jormag during a wintersday patch, maybe the living story starts during a wintersday event as a taster/prequel and a few months later, we get the permenent content?

an elder dragon would never side with puny insects, would you join offer a peace treaty to a nest of ants? no

during the bazaar of the four winds event, you see a zephyrite teacher explaining the nature of the dragons i cant find the exact quote but its along the lines of: have you not known the tides or lightning strikes to kill people? like them, the elder dragons are forces of nature, they are not inherently evil

I’ve skipped most of the wall of text but or humans, you have to be born with the ability to use magic, there are orrian history scrolls you can read and they imply that humans have to be born with the ability

i think arenanet should maybe do a poll or competition (best story wins) to ask us what happens next in the living story, the main selling point of which for me was that the players would determine where it would go, we’ve only had the choice once as i can remember it and looking at my signature, it didnt go well for me

well we all know that deep down nothing is true, everything is permitted

its probably symbolic a bit like the ritualist head shade

Dragonbash was celebrating the pact defeating zhaitan.

Dragonbash was the celebration of the “victory” over dragons, to which everyone protested because did didnt do jack kitten. Also we fought Zhaitan either over the shores of orr (so falling into the water) or over his freaking bed where he was snoozing till then, again not killing him, hell even if the entire tower (that didnt fall over the place where his model falls, you can jump down into the water even to see it) did fall on him, he headbutted a giant metal laser cannon without a scratch. Zhai zhai probably aint dead… well he probably aint stopped from being undead… or he aint re-dead…. whatever we probably didnt kill him off, especially since our dear Taco the sauceless/Tequila the salty/Tequatl the Sunless is a plot point in the living story.

im pretty sure the devs have stated that he was dead, and if they bring him back, it will be very annoying

they wont use the exact same content for halloween as last year, it’d be weird for thorn to be returning for the first time in 200 years in 2 years in a row, I’m looking forward to new recipes, quests and holiday items (the book we got was pretty underwhelming)

in a way, fewer skills is good, meaning there is less chance of overpowered combos – using a gw1 example, shadow form, it basically means that now it doesnt really matter which skill combo you use so long as it works, in gw1, if you had ‘the wrong build’ or were missing one skill, it was very hard to find a party

have a guild tattoo that displays your guild emblem (totally not ripped off from fairy tail)

you could have a race specific emote for each race? sylvari could cause flowers to grow around them, norn could find a keg to chug, asura could spawn in a golem that crashes down, spins then explodes and humans… humans can just stand there

hes still better than kormir, nothing can top that

you could spend money on gems to buy the keys, theyre meant to be a premium item and arenanet need money to maintain and develop the game, be glad there’re no subscription fees

I’ll agree with celestial but, for the other two, you design all possible armors and then make sure they appear well in the game without causing bugs or clips

I’d love this too, it’d give me something to do plus, then people could (if they wanted) do a lets play on it using their main characters and no having to worry about making a new one

heroes, henchmen and summoning stones is in gw1, and they work there, here, the npcs you summon will last around 5.7seconds in combat, ai less than elite (silver) doesnt stand a chance in open combat

it does matter in wow, cause armor type is one of the first indicators as to how to deal with said enemy

im never gonna get those perty wins

before all that, introduce polymock, firing range and bar brawl, if you dont know what polymock is, check the guild wars (1) wiki

jomo, think about it, if you’re on the surface, the water may be refracting/reflecting light so you cant actually see into the water very well and you are trying to tread water, i think its good with the 2 sets, 6 different sets per profession (12 in case of ele and 3 engi) would be too much 8(2) is enough for the moment

forsaken sounds like it would be a effect that took place when you weren’t in close proximity to allies – kinda like your allies have forsaken you, you panic and baby cats go everywhere

perhaps they’ll introduce more yaks?

they may not be the exact same ones, but mod likely there’ll be other skins with other effects, e.g. a wind/tornado pickaxe, a branded axe or mordremoth sickle

krait will not be chosen, that would involve a HUGE number of krait to become ‘good’ in lore terms, and they are notoriously xenophobic, naga MAAAYYYBEEE (very long stretch) and only then depending on if cantha is ever released

if arenanet had to get the go ahead for every minute change to the game, both parties would end up very annoyed with each other
