Tyr Sylvison – Warrior
Illyiah – Revenant
Let’s just have a fractal that looks into the election. Because fractals contains an infinite number of possibilities we can see Kiel, Evon, even Skritt King win. We will then simply have to afk in LA for 4 months and enter that fractals FotM to see Thaumanova, Abbadon, etc.
Yeah you are missing some things.
Only Infused items get the agony resistance infusion slot (currently we only have infused rings/backpieces). Infused items will have 2 infusion slots. One of those slots will be offensive/defensive based on the item (and cannot hold the AR infusion that can reach X). This slot will never be able to hold anything higher than +5 AR and would be where the fine infusion is placed. The other slot is an agony infusion slot that can only hold the AR infusion (that can hold the AR infusion that can reach X) or an omni infusion (which can fit into anything). Non-Infused rings/backpieces will only have one slot (offensive/defensive).
I worded this badly, but just know it doesn’t hurt anyone.
(edited by GoldenTruth.2853)
People would just complain that they need to have an entirely different set dedicated to fractals even if the fractal difficulty didn’t change.
um… wat?
I think that we are getting that from what I read on the patch preview:
Every fractal you enter above fractal level 30 will have a special Mistlock Instability which will add new difficulties to that level, or change the way you and your teammates play within it.
If they make them harder or change the mechanics it would be amazing, been running the same fractals for quite some months now (change the routine)
“Also the difficulty scaling has been tweaked overall to create a slightly less difficult curve up to 50.”
That could simple mean there is a more linear curve unlike the current curve where there is a small difficulty jump between 20 and 28, but a much larger one between 28 and 30.
Even if they lowered the mobs health/damage the Mistlock Instabilities could easily make the higher levels much harder. If they did something like at level 50 if someone dies they can’t revive and no one can replace their slot far less people will finish max fotm.
I do not want to grind AR.
I want to be challenged and be rewarded for my skills. How is this so hard to understand ????
The AR requirements should be the same from 1-39, slightly less for 40-49, and far less for 50. With the current max being 55 AR it’s still pretty easy to survive most agony attack pre-50.
The challenging part will most likely be the Mistlock Instabilities at 30+ which should be more interesting than straight up damage/health increases..
I have a feeling I should buy as many +5 infusions as I can before the patch is released …
Don’t do this. The Versatile infusions wont change into anything and can’t be upgraded.
I’m the opposite of the OP.
I’ve been waiting for an FotM update for a year. This release is probably the one I’ve been most excited for in a long while.
What about infusions that offer stat bonuses such as Mighty Infusion (+5 power, +5 agony resistance). Are these getting scrapped? Can they still be added to, say, ascended weapons/accessories? Will combining two of them create a +6 AR, +6 power infusion?
This has been answered multiple times so I’ll just give you the short version. Mighty Infusion can’t be upgraded, but the slot it would normally fill can’t go past +5 AR. In essence, nothing negative changes for these players.
Can the new infusion slot also be filled with mighty infusions or is it restricted to these new AR infusions?
It should have 2 slots (only the infused ascended have a second infusion)
The first one is an offensive or defensive infusion slot based on the item you originally had. For example if it was an offensive slot you can fit it with mighty, another offensive infusion, or an omni infusion.
The second one is an agony resistance infusion slot which can only hold the new AR infusions (which can go to infinity) or (I’m guessing) an omni infusion.
No, 50 is still the limit.
“As you level up within the Fractals of the Mists, enemies become more challenging (up to a maximum level of 50).”
I think that the maximum AR bonus from a single infusion is still likely to be +5. It’s just that players can now slowly work their way up to the infusion instead of just buying one outright.
The AR infusion can go up to infinity. It just becomes harder and harder to increase it by 1. It can only fit in one of the slots for infused rings/backpieces though.

Let’s see if I got it:
Before patch
Defensive slot: Vital infusion ( +5 agony resistance, + 5 vitality)After patch
Defensive slot: Vital infusion ( +5 vitality)
Agony slot: lvl5 agony infusion ( +5 agony resistance)Now: compare the convenience of a Vital infusion (1 Philosopher’s Stone, 20 Mystic Coin, 250 Karka Shell, 100 Ancient Bone) with that of the basic version of the Vital infusion (5 laurels). Before patch you HAD to buy the “mystic forge” one to get both the stats bonus and the agony resistance (since the “basic” version pre-patch didn’t have agony resistance). That’s why someone spent a lot of money to buy the infusion. Now the huge difference in price between those two infusions if justified by a mere +1 vitality bonus (since the agony resistance has been parted from the stat bonus). No one with a sane mind would choose the “mystic forg”e one over the “laurel vendor” one.
Before patch:
Built in + 5 AR
Defensive slot: Vital infusion ( + 5 agony resistance, + 5 vitality)
Total: + 10 AR, + 5 Vit
After patch:
Agony slot: lvl5 agony infusion ( + 5 agony resistance) / Potential to reach X)
Defensive slot: Vital infusion ( + 5 agony resistance, + 5 vitality)
Total: + 10 AR, + 5 Vit
If you got the Vitality only infusion instead
Agony slot: lvl5 agony infusion (+ 5 agony resistance)/ Potential to reach X
Defensive slot: Vital infusion (+ 4 vitality)
Total: + 5 AR, + 4 Vit
So I was just about to make the flashy ascended back piece the Fractal Capacitor. Thats another 250 ecto on top of the Beta Fractal Capacitor. Would this be a bad idea until we get patched?
It wouldn’t be a bad idea. In fact it would be a good idea since you might lose what you put in the infinite AR slot if you decide to upgrade post-patch.
@phys, you are actually incorrect on all accounts.
1) weapons ONLY dropped 20+ at a rate of ~5% (~15% at 38, ~30% at 48)
2) you could run multiple dailies, one from each “tier” (i.e. 48, 38, 28)
3) they ARE reducing AR. “infused” rings will no longer have the +5AR built in… rather, they will already have AR in the infusion slot… what happens to people that grinded the 250 ecto infusions?? will they be given 100s of gold they spent to get them?
2. You still run multiple dailies one from each tier. You’ll get a different daily chest from doing 1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. They changed it so you won’t get 2 daily chests if you run fotm 28 on one character and fotm 26 on another.
3. What you said about AR is completely wrong. Infused rings/backpieces get 2 infusion slots now. Where non-infused will only get 1 slot. One of the infused slots is an Agony Resistance only slot that can reach X AR. The other slot is whatever was on previously (including +5 AR / +5 Power, Precision, Vit, etc.).
That +5 agony slot can never ever go above +5. The only slot that can reach +6 is the one that they will automatically make +5 after the patch (though if you make an infused ring/backpiece after it is patched it will just be an empty slot).
The AR needed for 10-49 has not changed, the AR needed for 50 has been lowered.
They wont go away. You can’t upgrade the AR on offensive/defensive slots anyway. Nothing negative has changed for you. It’s been explained on multiple threads so just take my word for it.
an ascended ring with a 5AR infusion
Ring has a +5 versatile infusion in it. You can replace it with an omni-infusion or a offensive/defensive based on what ring it is.
an infused ascended ring with a 5AR infusion
Ring has a +5 versatile infusion in it. You can replace it with an omni-infusion or a offensive/defensive based on what ring it is. Ring has an agony infusion in it. You can replace it with an omni-infusion or an agony infusion (which can provide X AR). If you make it before the patch it has an automatic +5 AR fitted into the agony infusion slot.
an infused ascended ring with a 4 power infusion
Ring has a +4 offensive infusion in it. You can replace it with an omni-infusion or another offensive infusion. Ring has an agony infusion in it. You can replace it with an omni-infusion or an agony infusion (which can provide X AR). If you make it before the patch it has an automatic +5 AR fitted into the agony infusion slot.
an infused ascended ring with a AR+stat infusion
Ring has a +5/ + whatever infusion in it.
Edit: Only real question I have is how replacing the agony infusion works. If we have a +7 AR infusion slotted in and a +7 AR infusion not slotted in is there some way to remove the one that is already equipped, or do we need to have two unequipped +7s to make a +8, then use that to override the already equipped +7.
(edited by GoldenTruth.2853)
… and about my question? Can you help?
(+5 AR / +5 Precision = wasted T6 mats)he answered it in a different thread.
essentially the old infusion slots will not be altered.
the infused items will be given a new unique slot that only holds agony resistance, you cant put mighty or precise infusions there
they will be get a +5 agony infusion in that slot, you can later upgrade the agony in that slot past 5.
your precise one stays the same, and it cant house the upgradeble agony infusions anyhow.Didn’t understand anything from this. I have a SunRise with 2 x +5 AR / +5 Precision.
1. What will the new SunRise look like (socket-wise)? Will it have 2 x AR sockets? or maybe 2 x Offensive + 2 x AR sockets or it’d be equivalent?
2. Will my composite infusions be upgradable? e.g. +6 AR / +5 Precision?
3. To upgrade, will I be able to “unsocket”? I fear that re-socketing will destroy the existing composite infusion…Why can’t an official company answer ever be clear?
1. Sunrise wont change
2. You can’t upgrade that infusion with increased AR. Each infused ring/backpiece will get one defensive/offensive infusion (which can’t have the agony-slot infusion in it, but can hold your 5 AR/5 Precision) and one agony infusion slot which you can upgrade to X AR (but can’t hold anything but agony or omni infusions).
3. If you already have an infused ring/backpiece you can’t upgrade the agony on that slot so it wont matter. If you have a non-infused ring/backpiece with that upgrade I don’t know.
Here’s how it works:
- Agony resist infusions are always +1 or above agony resist.
- Agony resist infusions only slot into the Agony Resist slot, which is currently only found Infused Asccended Rings and Back Items.
- Every time you finish a fractal, you’ll get at least a +1 out of the chest.
- An artificer can combine any two identical agony resist infusions with a Thermocatyltic Reagent o make one of a higher resistance.
- Existing Infused Ascended Rings and Back Items lose their natural +5 Agony Resist, and receive a +5 Agony Resist Infusion by default.
- New Infused Ascended Rings and Back Items will have an empty slot.
Will the Versatile +5 infusion still exist for purchase, just in a form that you can’t upgrade to +6?
If you have an infused backpiece it will have 2 infusion slots. One of those infusion slots will have a +5 infusion, the other will be whatever was in the backpiece originally. If you have a normal non-infused backpiece it will have 1 infusion slot.
oh, so you still need to spend 250 ecto for another slot? I don’t see why they changed this… probably to get rid of brackets from item names
They changed it so you can have something like two +7s infusions on it rather than a +8 and a +5. In this example two +7 infusion slots provide more AR than the +8 with a built in +5, yet cost far less to make overall.
Long story short, at higher levels 2 infusions are a lot better than 1 with a built in +5
Edit: After a dev post sounds like I am somewhat wrong. The added infusion slot is the only thing that can hold the agony resistance above +5. So infused an infused backpack would have one slot that could have +X AR while the other would only have a max of +5 (or whatever other offensive/defensive infusion you want in it)
(edited by GoldenTruth.2853)
It’s worded poorly but general understanding that is going on is…
If you have an infused backpiece it will have 2 infusion slots. One of those infusion slots will have a +5 infusion, the other will be whatever was in the backpiece originally. If you have a normal non-infused backpiece it will have 1 infusion slot.
The +5 that was originally built in is replaced with an agony resistance infusion slot. You can upgrade the AR on this slot to infinity, however, the other slot (which was there originally) is still just an offensive or defensive infusion slot (and cannot have agony increased to infinity). You can still equip the offensive/defensive infusion with a versatile infusion that provides +5 AR though (or one of those +5 AR/ + 5 whatever stat).

The “value” issue is also one where people spend 200g on something that was promoted as being limited and no longer available. Having it come back and become indefinitely available certain effects value, regardless of account binding having a somewhat limited (people stop buying when they can get it for free) effects on the market value.
Black Jetpack would be awesome though.
Wouldn’t be the first time though. All BLTC weapon skins have come back with the exception of Halloween (just more difficult to obtain). When you buy high priced things there is always the risk that the price will decrease in the future.
As a game that focuses on cosmetic progression I think that skins that were originally time limited and very RnG should be obtainable (but be difficult to obtain). Whereas non-RnG skins such as those tied to meta-achievements should be time limited. Plus, this seems like a good place to add them in since these bosses were how you originally got them anyway, and I like the idea of actually having to do the content to get your reward more than just buying it off the TP without setting foot in MF or AR.
In my opinion (and as someone who owns a jetpack skin), since they have made the bonus fractal at the end have a chance at being the Mai Trin or two Molten Champion fights (rather than just Maw) they should make it so at 30+ there is a chance at the bosses dropping an account-bound version of their respective past reward (monocle and jetpack). This would also increase the incentive for running fractals between 30 and 40 since that area is the one that seems to lack the most rewards (the only new rewards being sigils and runes).
I’d like them to add an alternate version so people who didn’t get a jetpack can get one and people who did can get a different one.
Well that’s why I would want it to be account bound. It would still sell for decent amount since it would be the only way to obtain it without running mid-high level fractals, and people who do the content through fractals can still get it as a reward.
This also makes rolling the supposedly harder bonus fractals (Mai, MF champs) have the potential at a better reward.
Would be easy to make an alternative version of the jetpack (make it dyed black), would be harder for the monocle since it is an already dyeable piece of gear. Though I’m sure they could do it, and this wouldn’t be a bad workaround either. Or they could do a combination of both of these ideas.
Biggest negative about my idea is that these skins would essentially become what fractal weapons are now (very RNG). But, at least it would be limited to 2 or 3 (if they gave Maw one) skins instead of 19 (though this would change as more bonus fractals are added)
(edited by GoldenTruth.2853)
5 months ago (so it could possible change) Colin wrote:
Any updates to the fractals will need to include additional update to the reward systems as well, agreed.
As for the jet pack, those specific rewards are intended as limited rewards you can only earn during that time, thus making them valuable. It wouldn’t be fair to the people who did earn jet packs for us to bring them back, and suddenly undercut their value entirely.
And yeah that F&F dungeon updated for size would make a good fractal wouldn’kitten =)

The news page says:
“Thaumanova Reactor Fractal: You voted, and Kiel delivered! Experience the moments leading up to the catastrophic destruction of the Thaumanova Reactor, caused by the Inquest’s reckless experiments with Chaos Energy.”
Hoping there is some giant shadow behemoth-esque boss at the end.
Pretty sure the rework was making it so you can’t get Dredge fractal in addition to another long fractal. Would be nice if they changed bombs and clown car in some way though.
What I’m most worried about them not reworking though is the Mai Trin fight. Since that fight took so long (~15 minutes), with literally 4 minutes of it just running around in a circle.

January would be my guess.
Is it just me or is the preview for next weeks patch unusually late this week? Normally we get the page preview few hours ago.
Maybe they are making some last minute changes to the release page.
Or maybe it is Monday and not Tuesday? ^^
they normally release it now tho, im from Australia so different times and all that, but they usually have the release page up by now, normally around 3am Tuesday Australian time every single week they either have the patch or the release page, today its super late.
No, you are off by a day. Usually information gets leaked on websites 16 hours from now (6 AM Pacific), while information on the official site is a couple hours later than that.
Very nice catch.
Just a random guess.
I know only the shades are really there currently, but they are the only thing that seems to spawn from the chaos material instead of just being teleported in. So they may play a large role in what the inquest were experimenting with/on in the past.
I haven’t been to Queensdale in a while so I’m not sure when they added this. However, this is probably an attack animation update in preparation for the next patch (Fractals of the Mist) since chaos beasts probably play a big roll in Thaumanova.
This is probably one of my favorite updates.
The only big thing that I would change would be to decrease mob density in floor 3, and replace them with some bosses such as in floor 1 (warlock) and floor 2 (spider + wurm).
Also I hope that they replace the Caledon Forest wurm with the skillset of the floor 2 wurm (since he actually seems somewhat threatening).
Can’t wait for FotM update though, since that’s the one I’ve really been waiting on.

You need to unlock the “Toxic Spore Sampler” achievement first (give her 50 spore samples).
You need to finish the instance once before you can get those achievements to count. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know either.
Here’s the quote
The ‘Tower Hybrid Slayer’ and the ‘Tower Hybrid Master’ achievements are both locked until you complete ‘Tower Antitoxin Injector’. This means that to get any of the Hybrid achievements going, you first need to fully complete the Story Version of ‘The Nightmare Incarnate’ instance.
If you separate small features into separate list items, sure, they’ve added “more”. That’s kind of like saying an author who wrote two 100-page books has written more prose than another author who wrote a 500 page book.
Let’s face it – the second list is where all the exciting stuff and the bulk of the actual content is. If you pick a random item from the first list and compare it with a random item from the second list, virtually none of them can compare.
Getting a new item from salvaging greens vs. a precursor scavenger hunt? Slapping a bit of gold onto dungeon end rewards vs. fully revamped fractals and dungeons? Getting a loot bag from champions vs. all crafting professions at 500? Increased way to earn skill points (i.e. double-clicking a scroll…) vs. a full set of new legendary weapons?
I didn’t deny that they’ve added quite a bit of stuff from the blog post. My point is that they routinely get carried away over-hyping stuff, and then fail to deliver because they weren’t realistic about what could be done. I’d much rather they took a Blizzard style approach, where you know exactly what you’re getting. (In Blizzard’s case, ridiculously polished content at a painfully slow rate – but hey, at least they don’t pretend it’s going to delivered quickly.)
Uh, they both have elements of big and small. FotM revamp (big) is now on 11/26 while Wintersday is 12/10. All crafting to 500 fits into ascended armor. Both of which aren’t big. The only ones that would take time that they have missed are new pvp maps, new legendaries, new fractals (next patch), and possibly the way to acquire precursors.
FotM update. If they revamp the rewards as well I’ll be really happy.
WvW season needs to end first.
Second, they have delivered far more than half of what they discussed in that blog.
That’s simply not true. I even missed some stuff off my list, as they said they would revamp the dungeons and Fractals too.
After re-reading the blog…
Things implemented:
- Continuing 2 week release cadence
- Improved (or at least changed) world bosses
- Updated dungeons (though only 1 was really updated)
- Created world events with larger scale and more permanent impact
- Increased number of dynamic events
- Super Adventure Box
- Added new skills and traits (though not on the scale they made it seem so this could be a rightful complaint)
- Increased way to earn skill points
- Champion rewards
- Dungeon reward revamp
- New crafting materials
- Magic find revamp
- Making blues and greens matter more
- Ascended weapons
- Improved functionality of legendaries
- Replacement for Borderlands orb mechanic
- PvP solo rated play (albeit very buggy)
- LFG tool
- Limit culling in PvE
Things not implemented:
- Updated fractals (though it’s obvious this will be released before the end of the year either on Nov 26th or Dec 24th).
- Wintersday (most likely released on Dec 10th)
- All crafting professions to 500
- Ascended armor (which has been datamined)
- Building precursor (good chance of not being implemented before 2014)
- New legendary weapons
- New type of legendary
- Improved PvP rewards
- New PvP map types
- Way to gain legendary skins in PvP
Looking at the list the only people who got kind of screwed over was PvPers, and even then there’s 3 updates left (excluding tomorrows) before people can rightfully complain.
That said I would argue the main complaint should be the scale of some of the things they implemented, mainly things like skills/traits and dungeons (though for dungeon updates I expected them to only be 1 or 2 new dungeons). Besides, they even said the things listed could change. It’s far better for them to be open about what they are working on than just tell us right before a release.
(edited by GoldenTruth.2853)
First, how about we wait until the year is actually over before you discuss what we haven’t gotten.
Second, they have delivered far more than half of what they discussed in that blog.
It takes the living story teams ~4 months to finish their content. Combined with the fact that they didn’t know whose fractal they were going to build until August 5th it makes sense it hasn’t come out yet.
Chances are high it will come out in either the November 26th (more likely) or the December 24th patch since the December 10th patch is most likely Wintersday.

Snip
I imagine it’ll end in a dungeon too. But what makes you sure the fractals update won’t also involve her somehow? Or that the fractal might be released alongside an unrelated update (which, I don’t think is probable)?
As for the four month development cycle, can we be sure they aren’t already done with the conclusion content and are just refining or holding off until the right time? How do we know they worked on these in the sequence they are released in? Maybe I’m over thinking it. lol
I basically used a very meta-game way of guessing as to when things end. The fractal update will involve her, however, I would guess only to the extent that the MF and AR fractals are related to her. I doubt she will be involved with Thamanova because we voted between two potential fractals. They can’t plan for her to be behind the Thamanova incident and have it be intertwined with the story when there was a decent chance that we wouldn’t even pick that fractal. They would also have trouble making it so she infiltrated whatever fractal since the fractals are permanent and her survival is not. They are very unlikely to add her along with a FotM update simply because of developer workload.
As to how we know whether they are working their updates in order also has to do with developer workload. They could have a separate non-living story team working on her dungeon, but it seems unlikely. My guesses are based on the assumption that they still only really have two dungeon teams and that they won’t rearrange the teams to much. But that’s why they are educated guesses rather than verified statements.
(edited by GoldenTruth.2853)
Making temporary dungeons is fine as long as it returns at a later date like how MF and AR are becoming fractals.
If they make a dungeon that isn’t a revamp of an existing dungeon it is extremely likely to be temporary, but it is also very likely to return as a fractal. This next patch however, is not a dungeon update either way.
I’m guessing the Scarlet arc will end either in February or more likely April/May.
Currently these are the releases left in the year:
November 12: The Nightmares Within
November 26: ? (possibly fractals)
December 10th: Most likely Wintersday
December 24th: ? (possibly fractals)
Looking at this we see we really only have 1 more potential update about Scarlet as one of the ??? must be the fractals update.
The reason why I believe it will either be February or April is because chances are it will end with a dungeon. It takes ~4 months for each living story team to finish their content which means the Twilight Arbor team would be ready in February and the not yet released fractal team will be ready in April/May.
I believe it is more likely to be in April/May for two reasons.
1. Bobby Stein keeps telling us that we don’t know much about her motive and her character development. Anet would probably have trouble presenting this within 2 months when we already have so little information on what Scarlet is trying to do.
2. Unlike TA which can be repeatable since Scarlet is only there in AI holographic form, if the Scarlet conclusion is in a dungeon it is very likely to be temporary. This means that it will probably end up as a future fractal. If February’s update is also a temporary dungeon then Anet can do something similar to cutthroat politics and have another FotM update with two previous dungeons and one new, voted on fractal.
The next arc after Scarlet is very difficult to guess. If I had to take a shot in the dark it would be about what’s going on behind the scenes at Divinities Reach, since Marjory’s back story is connected to that and we are supposedly going to see some of the Queen’s Jubilee content.
Well it doesn’t seem to be exactly a dungeon, but it does have dungeon-esque elements.
Supposedly the inside of the tower is open world while there are randomized instances inside of it.
Some problems that come up with this idea:
1. It takes each team 4 months to make their 2 content updates. This means that there would be a huge pause between this event and when we actually see the effects that come from it. This isn’t a huge problem since we can see them doing this with the Kiel election, but you do lose a sense of urgency and continuity.
2. Having it so only the 1st day of the event effects the story will cause many complaints (then again what doesn’t). People are already complaining about being forced to be on a 2 week cycle, if people feel like they MUST be there for the only part of the event that actually matters (the 1st day) Anet wont hear the end of it.
3. Then there are also balance issues and potential bugs. It’s hard to balance an event around a huge zerg, particularly when you need to take into account that it is their first time undertaking it (no one got close to killing Teq 2.0 on the 1st try).
I would like to see more living stories where we influence future content, however, it would need to be something like we have 2 potential elder dragons we can fight and we need to complete events/kill mobs of a certain type to decide which one we will face next.
In other words it is a good concept, but I think it needs to be refined a little so that we don’t know the direction the content will take until the very end of the story. It also couldn’t be used very often since there is a 4 month gap between the conclusion and the next part.
Sorry if you already addressed some of these issues I was to lazy to read past the 1st couple of posts.

Good change, champion loot is still more than generous for the effort it takes to do them.
2nd this.
They should have posted the changes, but for how mindless and non-risky champ farming is they were right to lower the rewards.
Champ farming is only on 2 maps and possibly a dungeon….Champions on the other hand are in every map and dungeon. The change affects more than just champ farming.
If they lowered the amount on those 2 maps people would simply farm on the next best map. Champ farming right now is just running in a giant zerg pressing 1 with no risk (and it still rewards more than it should). Yes, this does lower the incentive for a person to solo a champ, but in my mind this is a necessary evil in order to stop the many other problems high loot champs bring.
Dungeon rewards need fixing, but that should be done by changing the end reward to match a proper risk reward. Many people still tend to skip any mobs they can even if there is a champ tossed in anyway.
IMO champ loot in the open world should be decent, but not enough to go out of your way ignoring all non-champ DE. It should be an added bonus on top of doing one of the more unique features of GW2, dynamic events (though since most dynamic events tend to also be easy they shouldn’t have extremely high rewards either).
Good change, champion loot is still more than generous for the effort it takes to do them.

As to the Spore Cleanser achievement, you’ve seen my posts on the related thread, I believe. It’s annoying, but it can be done fairly quickly in the Queensdale Champ train, I hear.
Can also be done quickly if you just wait for a Scarlet Invasion event and just go there (can easily finish it in one invasion). Though, since there isn’t an exact timer on the invasions it is somewhat unreliable. I personally haven’t done that one yet and am just waiting to be lucky enough to be on (and not in the middle of something else) for one of those invasions.
The picture part was me just joking around.
People aren’t going to post because they can’t really discuss a post like “However, one of the sorcerers has a new trick for us.” or “So Kasmeer and Marjory are already further onward, while only Sergeant Walters and three other Seraph are here to assist against an as of yet unknown force. This won’t end well.”
What are they going to say? “Yes I don’t think it will end well either”?
I remember you posted one on Scarlet’s Funhouse and the only post not yours was something along the lines of “Is this still in the game?” when it wasn’t. Likewise, the TA one was just a giant series of posts of you dying with some people saying they could help you (however, if all was successful I doubt anyone would have responded at all).
I’m sorry but I just find threads where someone spends 20 posts talking to himself nonsensical and not belonging to the forums.
Another patch, another blog post spam thread by Nilkemia which could easily be condensed into 2-3 posts (though blog posts shouldn’t be on the forums anyway).
I’m just posting my thoughts on it, trying to be as thorough as I can in one thread instead of spreading it out over lots of them. And since I take lots of pictures, might as well use them.
So what’s your problem?
Because it doesn’t lead to a discussion at all and should be posted on a blog instead of a discussion forum?
And I am a bitter person at heart who is envious of your pictures.
Edit: And you also bump your posts far to much since they don’t invite discussion and could easily be pushed into very few posts. For example, why are you going over the achievements one at a time in separate posts when you could just combine them.
