Most classes have been using the same 3 utilities and elite, and mostly the same weapon sets for a year now. Plus a lot of the current builds have been around in some form since Beta. It’s getting boooooring.

New skills will be good but the uselessly incoherent info on the old tooltips was a constant irritant and that’s fixed. So HUZZAH!

Random sky-pirates and pretending a world-boss just appeared when people have farmed it daily since launch isn’t exactly thriller story telling.

So much time and effort is being spent (wasted?) on pushing out temporary content every 2 weeks, I doubt that we will see something on the scale of a new fully-fledged area of the map next year.

Multiple permanent new zones, a new race and a new class are things that people would normally associate with an expansion. It’s hard to see the Living Story delivering that in the foreseeable future.

If it makes you feel better, Slickpack was awfully ugly and I deleted mine.

They didn’t come to help the server when there were no rewards worth mentioning and no attainable achievements. PvErs aren’t going to stay after they’ve farmed the latest flavour of the month.

This means we have to get one world rank every day for 7 weeks. The only people who will be able to attain this are regular WvWers, the same ones who are in dedicated WvW guilds.

Axe MH is great on warrior, with Warhorn/Axe/Mace OH.

You need to put some guilds into your Guild Wars experience.

Insane SOR Bay fight

SOR forced to jump from map to map on the defensive, but absolutely wrecking face in every fight.

Can’t say I’ll be blowing laurels on WXP when we have ascended armour coming up and 3 alts to trinket.

Gear-check content must be coming soon, it’s the only missing piece now.

Haven’t bothered to use it for a couple of reasons:

The North-East point lies on the fastest route from Garrison to Hills so expect a zerg there at any time.

The South-East point provides trebuchet positions so expect zergs there.

The Southern point provides trebuchet positions so expect zergs there too.

Holding a Bloodlust buff provides the zerg with a significant power boost, so expect a zerg…

Unplayable lag and a 20 FPS drop in the centre of the map doesn’t exactly help.

I would say this has to do with the ascended having an infusion slot as well. I’d say it’s all messed up and I’m not sure what to do transmuting mine now :S

Imagine recommending this game to a friend and getting them started fresh in game today.

“You will need 500K Karma for the 2nd top tier items (Exotics) and you get 600 per day so….yeah good luck with that”.

4-3 to IRON defeating KH. The 6th round was an epic fight, one of the best I’ve seen. Unfortunately KH forfeited the final round when many guild spectators rushed the field. There was no need for that poor sportsmanship to ruin an otherwise great game.

KH also running stacking sigils, please correct that for next time. Also it’s better if the teams swap starting positions, but KH refused.

Hope to see some more matches this week.

I think people are letting the tail wag the dog. The game is supposed to have new content for when you log on. You should not be logging on because the game has new content. There is nothing in the living story chapters that you cannot afford to miss.

And when you come back to the game and the economy is massively inflated because everyone else was hardcore farming and you didn’t…..then what?

The impetus for this change is primarily due to the ongoing, negative conflict between the WvW and GvG communities.
