I would love for them to fix this, I love having a small interface, but having the TP font like that drives me crazy.

There already is an Eternity on the TP, it just isn’t showing up on highest prices.

Honestly, I’d just wait and see how high the buy orders raise to and sell it to one of them once it gets high enough, I’m sure you have no issues getting money currently, since you were able to get two legendarys so far. So just be patient and see what other people are willing to pay for it.

Seems all the skins are raising, though I don’t know how much higher they will get. Wish I invested into slingshots and wands rather than Choir Bells

I’m not really looking for a fast profit, just something to flip later when I need the money. I had some guy send me a whisper claiming he does this pretty much every event and the profit is slow, but you can easily triple your investment a few weeks later. Though I cannot confirm if this is the actual case or not.

I’ve done a few more tests buying 250 from the lowest seller (which made the bells go from 31c to 50c) and resold them at 49c, I didn’t sell all of them, but I did make my money back from the ones I bought and I have about 80 more to sell. So people are definitely interested in these bells. I’m just horrible at this whole market game.

I’m one of those players who has a rough time getting gold, usually most of my gold comes from Holiday events (halloween, lost shores, wintersday ect.) And since obtaining a legendary is WAY out of my reach currently, would it be wise to invest in an event item which will be unobtainable in a few days?

I’ve been messing around with the bell market for about 20 minutes now, making small profits from flipping and they still sell reasonably fast at around 40c-50c.

Anyway, I know asking here isn’t such a smart idea, I just need to know if it is a smart investment or not before I put most of my gold into it.

Nope, the set is account bound, you can unequip it and send it to any character on your account as many times as you want.

I can confirm the Unbreakable Bell, since I got one from a Giant Present. I can’t confirm the tonic though.

Opened roughly 100 boxes and got an unbreakable bell, which I sold for 50g. Finally, some luck.

Ha. This must be easy for a pianist. I am not one and I have troubles coordinating 8 fingers at the same time. Perfect score? For me same insanity as guitar hero perfect play on hardest mode.

I’ve been playing Piano for over 20 years. My highest score is around the low 500s. So no, its not easy for pianists.

Unless, we can somehow keybind our pianos to play the game :p

I was questing in Gendarran Fields and noticed a big box falling.

I finished killing some mobs and ran up to it an opened it…Out popped 4-5 mobs, killed them and then got a present.

In the present I got some stinky socks and some other undesirable…but I guess these are a form of currency for holiday items.

We are at least a week and a half away on a fix for this, possibly longer depending on how long it takes to test it properly, we wouldn’t want to deploy anything that makes the issue worse!

Guess the same doesn’t apply to bug fixes.

I don’t think it keeps the slot infusion since technically, you’re getting a whole new item from the forge.

I’m assuming you have played Guild Wars 1, which took place 250 years ago. During the final expansion, we had asurans with golems and plasma canons and other futuristic weaponry.

Are you telling me, lore wise, it would make better sense if those 250 years have past and we were still using swords and shields?

Also, all of asuran technology is created with magic. Tell me how this does not fit the lore?

Why are you even playing this game then Shadowlancer? I’m sure before you even picked it up you knew that asura are a technological race, you knew this game had pistols and rifles.

I really don’t see why its so far-fetched to have an asuran santa.

I have no problems with the price. I actually bought a few pieces for my mesmer.

These offer no improved stats or anything game breaking, just a simple skin. Cultural armor is like Guild Wars 1’s Obsidian armor.

Yes, but Technology is more Sci-Fi. Having underground mushroom looking people, as “mad Scientist”, in advance technological stages, in a fantasy game, does not make that race a fantasy race and thus since Arenanet keeps on heavily talking about that particular race in the lore, you basically don’t have a fantasy game.

Fiction and Fantasy mean exactly the same thing…. This guy…

Nowhere did they state that they plan to make Legendaries better than the Ascended gear.

They did state they are going to bump the stats of legendaries once ascended weapons are released. The person you have quoted never said anything about making them better than ascended.

Today, a group member of mine got the shield in level 20. It looked really nice.

Anyway, I don’t see a problem with how they are now. I’d rather keep them rare.

Does anyone know the difference between the two infusion slots? Do they do anything differently?

It wouldn’t be such a huge problem if there were other ways to obtain them. Hardly anyone whined about the legendaries being difficult, we want them to be difficult. We however do not want them to require tons of gold or grinding.

From what I am gathering, everyone just wants alternative ways to obtain these materials.

Your post is very offensive and not very constructive. Really? Did you tell is to get balls and accept a challenge? Do you really think to farm 250 Powerful bloods (which are about 25s now) among the other expensive, overpriced materials is a challenge? Its a mindless grind, the only thing challenging about it is not quitting the game due to farming the same thing for hours on end.

Get off your high horse, you bought all the materials when they were relatively cheap, at this rate, eventually the cost of the materials will be far worse than the precursors were unless something is addressed.

Finally got my ring earlier today. I did 8 level 10 dailies and 3 level 20 dailies. Got my infused ring from the level 20 today.

Instead of nerfing, they should buff other dungeons…

This is getting fishy. Those who already got their rings, keep getting more. Those who don’t still don’t get them. I’m noticing a pattern here and Anet needs to look into it. The probability of this happening is very unlikely which leads me to believe there is something wrong with the coding.

Well, this dungeon has only been out for 4 or 5 days.

I currently just finished my 4th level 10+ daily chest. and still no ring for me.

Not only is there a huge gap between exotics and legendaries, but now there is also a huge gap between exotics and acended which is required to run high level fractals.

1. Legendaries take ~500 ectos and 250 stack of EACH t6 mat so I’m pretty sure it’s possible/doable and
2. Ascended stuff was intended to be the gap between exotics and legendaries. Tbh it’s not that big of a deal unless you want to go further in the fotm.

Except the Acended gear has better stats than exotics. They could have easily just gave acended gear the same stats as exotics and added the agony resistance. I’m not complaining about there being a gap, I’m complaining about the gap being too large.
Not everyone has multiple hours to play each day. This change drove up all prices of T6 mats, making it much more of a gear grind than it was previously. Before, it was just for cosmetics, which I was fine with.

Just happened to me right now, just beat the level 10 dredge level, almost finished with the Grawl level, then I DC’d and can’t rejoin.

Just fix it. I can’t believe this is the first thing I publicly complained about on here.

People need to escape that whole zerg mindset they got used to in Orr. A huge group of people aren’t doing the work for you. You actually need to focus and use your utilities. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard people say “I never use most of these skills because they do no damage”. Start playing smart and quit playing so offensively, that’s why you’re dying.

Pay attention to your surroundings, use your utility and other skills more defensively and dodge and you will do great. I logged on my level 13 elementalist, and was still able to take on multiple mobs at the same time and I didn’t even have all my traits and utility skills unlocked.

This is coming from a semi-casual/dedicated player.

I think they are fine. Just dodge or reflect their initial range attack and you will be fine.

I like the swamp. Its not hard, just requires a lot of coordination.

Burn down the siegemaster ASAP, but don’t stand at the gate, use range away from the oil. Once the Siegemaster is down, focus on the Ballistas and Oil, then the gate.
