Dulfy only has the Bauble locations, and since these two areas I’m missing don’t have any baubles in them (Already got the bauble achievement) they aren’t listed on her guide.

Spent a good 2 hours in there looking, and couldn’t seem to find the two zones I am missing.

Any idea on where the last two may be?

So, if this one would be Anet’s joke, I bet a lot of people would be disappointed, seeing as Anet’s April fools 2012 joke was quite a harsh one, as I have heard.

Being funny isn’t the point of April Fools. The point is to get lots of people to fall for it, then it becomes funny.

ugg I’m so jealous, I knew that was going to happen. I’m so freaking pooor lol. I spend 4 hours last night waiting at the SB event because it kept getting reset by the patches. I hit 3 back to back to back, I only had 1 level 80 toon though so I figured I would only get the one shot since we had one chest per day crap now.

This is the first time I have ever gotten lucky in this game. Heck, I even had to borrow gold from the guild to sell the dang thing.

Its not like people are just forced to do dailies to attain the new ascended gear.

The majority of people actually are forced to do dailies to obtain these. Not everyone is in a huge guild. Not every guild has a play schedule where ALL of there members are on at the same time to do the missions.

if not in a big guild and not doing wvw, you dont really need the gear anyway.

I think that what Anet was trying to implement is for the casuals who can’t play longer hours as semi to hardcore players do to be able to catch up in terms of gearing progression.

It does add up to many people but for others who can only log in like 1-2 hours a day or less, its a pace that they can keep up with other fellow gamers.

And those casual gamers will have to spend most of their time doing dailies or whatever else Anet decides to add later to play “catch up” than actually playing how they want to play.

Anet really doesn’t think things through.

Truthfully, I like it the way it is, but only because it’s not absolutely necessary to have the “new and improved” items to play.

Again, this is not the point. Its about what we were promised. We were promised, at level 80 everyone would be on equal grounds in terms of available gear and stats for minimal grind. Only thing that would matter is skill. With the addition of acended gear, they broke that promise.

I don’t care if it only offers +4 extra stats compared to an exotic. The person with the better gear still has the advantage if skill was taken out.

Grind Wars 2?? LOL doing dailies to get the bis gear is a grind? I came from AION online and if you want to talk about grinding for gear in this game then idk which MMO will suit you. It took me 6 months of grinding 4-5 hours a day to get the bis armor set in AION and another 4 months in getting the bis accessories prior to the expansion. I was not able to do the weapons since getting enough points to attain the best gear was a kind of a problem having to be the underpopulated faction.

I moved from that game to here since I have RL priorities to attend to.

This game is very casual to other MMOs thats out there.

This isn’t about how other online games do it.

The problem is, we were promised a game where we didn’t have to grind or go through much trouble getting BiS gear.

For a company that was originally against grind, it’s a shame that it’s turning into a pure grindfest. What the heck happened?

I used to laugh at all these people who complained about legendarys being too difficult or adding in acended gear going against your manifesto. Never thought I would start to agree with them.

I know plenty of friends and guildmates who have stopped playing because of Anet’s poor decisions lately and it seems they wont learn their lesson anytime soon.

More armor skins is what I expected when the game first released, and still wonder why more hasn’t been added.

On some resolutions, using the small interface feature makes reading the BLTP really rough. I’ve seen multiple threads on this in the past as well as complaints in game.

We shouldn’t have to change our resolution or use the normal+ interface sizes to read the text. Can you please let us know you’re working on this issue?

Its not really new, this has been going on pretty much since release.

Thanks zerk, I wont be overclocking at all, which is why I didn’t order the K versions. That mobo was suggested to me on Tomshardware by multiple people, guess I should have had them pick out the RAM for me as well, but I canceled the order and picked up another set on their support list for the same price, thanks for the heads up.

Since a lot of people are creeping up on 5 Laurels, I wanted to make a thread where players can post what they got from the profession boxes, just to get a general idea if they are worth it.

I spent about 500k Karma on boxes and walked away with a Cold Potion, Some mini pet, and tons of lodestones and vendor stuff, I’m happy about this change, I made a decent amount of coin for something I had no other use for.

Are you kidding me? The same thing can be said about Laurels and PvE…. There is no reason why a PvPer would need anything that the vendor sells, just like a PvEer doesn’t need anything from sPvP vendors.

How am I wrong? You already get gear from PvP dailies/monthlies, Glory, AND for ranking up.

Add Guild Halls and GvG.

Make dungeon tokens stack higher than 250.

When setting your interface to small, it makes the BLTP font illegible. I have a 32" HDTV and the normal interface is just too big, everything gets cramped together. I can’t change the resolution either because for some reason, my HDTV only looks good at 1360×768.

Anyway, please fix it. Lots of people like using small interfaces and its a pain having to keep changing it every time I need to use the BLTP.

I’m just curious if investing in a SSD is worth it. Its tax season and I’m looking to build a new PC. Would it offer any improvements in GW2?

Since tax season is coming up, I would like to build a new computer, however its been 7 years since I built my last PC, and it has lasted this long and still plays Guild Wars 2 great on low-medium settings. Since I haven’t built one in so long, I haven’t been keeping up with the latest computer tech, so I’m pretty much walking into this blindly.

I know how to build a computer, that isn’t the problem, I just need help picking out the core essentials to hopefully run this game on medium to high settings without issues.

I was very disappointed with the live stream. I’m almost convinced your intentions are to alienate your playerbase. Whenever you encounter something minor you don’t agree with, you nerf it. While other serious issues remain which the community have been asking for a fix for months. You told us this game is meant to be played the way we want to, but patch after patch it seems you only want us to play a game the way you want us to.

Trading Post actually requires a lot of game market insight to pull off, average player whines about it because they can’t do it, don’t want to spend time learning about it, and is bitter that other people are doing it.

The irony in that is I’ve come to recognize in several past games that a great deal of mmo market players often play the rest of the game at a below average level.

Currently, setting the interface size to small on larger monitors makes the Black Lion Trading Post’s text illegible. On higher resolutions using the “normal” interface size is just too large! Are there any plans to fix the interface sizes so we are able to read the BLTP text?

I’ve received one yesterday doing dailies and two today, so I don’t think they were nerfed. However, I have been wrong before.

Can we please remove the moaning by Divinity’s Reach’s bank? I was having a discussion with my mother and sister and out of nowhere nonstop moaning sounds occurred and they both just walked out mid-convo. I understand its the sound of someone yawning, but please, its kind of ridiculous.

It should be, almost every major retailer today gives you back some sort of cash or credit if you purchase something a week prior then it goes on sale.

Even several online games has this feature, so I don’t see why Anet would want to be any different (other than their whole Nexon mentality lately).

I suggest try contacting support and try fighting it.
