My intentions were not to see how much hate I could get or how much attention I could gain. It was solely to spice things up, to make the fights personal. If only you guys could hear me in TS while I’m commanding. I respect TW and FEAR because you guys are really good. When I see you guys on the battlefield, I know it’s going to get rough. Its been a great week for TW, all the guilds that used to come into SoR to fight us have now stopped. So in an effort to find fights we are now jumping BL to BL hunting zergs.

Are you finding fights? Choo’s having the issue where by the time we actually get to an objective under fire, whoever it was has already moved on (without capping). It makes us run around the map like chickens without heads. It’s a really frustrating tactic; yesterday in BGBL we must’ve gone to like 6 different places before we actually met the big Blackgate group at North Camp.

Yes, I average 4-5 DC’s a night. I actually spend more time in queue then in WvW. I wish Anet would acknowledge the issue.

Funny part is right before your turn we did it to JQ. Their response, polar opposite of yours.

Thought T1 was suppose to be this awesome zerg v zerg competition but as I command for RISE I can’t help but notice the disorganization from JQ and some SoR zergs. JQ’s logic – put arrow carts in the middle of fights because our skill isn’t enough, scatter everywhere to make us look like a bigger zerg, run away. I’m noticing SoR getting better with their organization so brownie points for you guys, but man was I disappointed at the competition when we xferred to BG.

This “no name guild” is running through every zerg that comes across us. Ask TYSM, TW, FEAR, and SF.

Can’t seem to find your guild on the map as all I can see is a outmanned buff? How many bags are you rolling with and what is the average life expectancy of your guildies? This may assist me in figuring out this mystery guild.

So much free elo to be had! I’m thinking next week will be JQ breaking a all time high and SoR pulling 2nd with BG struggling to stay in T1 with DB gaining so much elo.

This thread has brought a small tear to my eye. BG has always wanted to be accepted as a competitive server in T1, looks like with Foo taking a breather while Waha is away the new oceanic’s can finally show their skill! If only all this new found skill could translate over for some of there NA guilds, I may yet get to enjoy it when I’m on!

Sad night in JQBL. TW took JQ garrison and let both BG and JQ take all the walls down and neither one of your force’s attempted to take it. We wanted to do some farming tonight

Its quite annoying, I am getting dc’ed every 5-10 min, GW has been unplayable for about a week now because of this. Equipment/isp all normal, I would love to get some sort of response from anet about this issue.

Edit: played during oceanic hours and never got dc’ed for the 4+ hours played, once I attempted to play during NA, its back to being dc’ed every 5-10 min.

I am getting dc’ed every 5-10 min, I’ve checked with my isp and got all clear on there end. Equipment is all new and working, as far as I can tell its a GW issue as all other online games currently run fine. Is anyone else getting the same issue?

We’ve noticed this which is why on JQ, we’ve stopped putting so many of our resources into SoR BL. There’s no point face smashing into TW working so hard, when we can easily go into another BL and cap more points. It’s going to work against you guys quite frankly, TW sitting in one map works for us just fine.

Let them rot there for all we care.

There was a time long ago that we had all the best guilds thrown at us on our arrival to T1, now our BL is only a bag farm for any pugs brave enough to enter

Same error, and same issue. I DC 5-10 min in, then I get the error, before the patch I never had any issues with disconnecting.

For everyone saying our NA is doomed it wasn’t we were left unorganized on reset night for two reasons.

1) We asked EMP are you guys going to be on map (we knew they were transferring) noodles said yes they wouldn’t be transferring for 3 weeks. Take it how you will
2) When reset hit we had an empty map and a troll from EMP spamming it kitten people off. This isn’t reflective of the guild as a whole but when a leader such as rawnoodles who wants to leave on good term’s doesn’t even have the courage to tell his server mates that he’s leaving and not covering a map then what kind of guild is that truly?

That’s all I will say about the matter. I will say that those EMP who stayed behind to fight on JQ will always be welcome here they didn’t abandon the server.

I was quite impressed at how well all the quarrians rallied together to put JQBL back in shape, I know most of TW was quite surprised when we took garrison at reset from a outmanned JQ. Overall it was nice to see you guys pull together and get that BL semi under control.

EMP is transferring to Dragonbrand! I was talking to my friend earlier and he told me their leader made a decision and pretty much placed the guild in a situation of ‘transfer with us or deal with it’. I heard the guild is split and more than half of them disagree with Rawnoodles’s decision and have decided to stay on JQ!

I was there for most of the fights. Waha challenged Indo to a GvG, and FOO was like 70 deep, Indo told us TW doesn’t have a lot of people so they would come in with FEAR.

The entire JQ side was basically FOO and 10 pugs and I think most of the SoR side was split with TW and FEAR. Later on in the day, most of us were asked to leave the BL by FOO so they could get more of their guildies in, I can only assume the last fights were all FOO.

BG was kicked fully out of the map so it was a 1v1.

Was a fun day and everyone on JQ and SoR seems to have enjoyed it since Waha has planned another one.

I find it amusing that people who were chased away from NA T1 are now coming back here to give us their 2 cents like we’d care about their opinion. Only people who’s opinion matters is JQ and SoR guys who participated in the fight or who will participate in future fights.

I don’t think you know how veil works. It’s not about going forward all the time. Sometimes you go left and in extreme cases you might even go right and maybe, just maybe, you use a second veil and repeat the entire process.

Oh, that time when we sat in your spawn tower with the door open for almost two hours (with 30 people and we kept running out and killing u and u wouldnt come in) and then we went to your spawn supply camp where your commander re-spawned twice and it took you over 14mins to whittle down 30 people with your server constantly re-spawning…

Please tell me why we would waste our time fighting people who either run away or claim a GvG happened when it was a server vs 30 people…

lol they have footage of it, after they reviewed it they realized they were being wiped by a handful of TW and pugs during there own timezone, that can make even some of the more hardcore guilds feel a bit tender. His post above explains this well.

Ok so lets take it slow here, a GvG means (Guild v Guild) essentially it comes down to two guilds lining up against each other and seeing which one has the ability to outdo the other in terms of individual skill and commanding. Individual skill plays a big part in GvG I would call it a 50/50 split since a GvG requires far more self-reliance as opposed to a blob and more individual thinking about positions and so on…

What this video shows is -not- a GvG. It is two guilds fighting one with huge blobs that are unable to show any individual skill due to the lag (Yes – Lag is detrimental to ones skill and essentially comes down to who has luck on their side and which group can hit 1 in a more condensed area than the other…)

If this is what NA consider GvG then I fear you have missed the great opportunity that is organised and worth while GvG that really puts the pressure up and presents an opportunity for every guild to prove their worth.

lol who are you? Not sure if you realize but GvG’s don’t occur in the NA when you only have one other guild willing to do them, and they only set them up if they can beat the other team. What you see in that video is a GvG of FoO, TW, and Fear leading both BL’s against each other. Sorry if it does not meet the “Euro” definition of a GvG. Waha approached Indo in an attempt to set up a fight between FoO and TW, but at those hours we have less then 15 people so both guilds agreed to just run full bl vs full bl. The fight was not about individual skill, they have Spvp for that, the fights were more about commanding skills of a large force. Was there skill lag for both sides? Yes, but commanders like Waha, Indo, and Irmo worked through that and we ended up having some of the best fights in GW to date.

Your putting too much energy in getting a 12 am reset, EU reset should be at 8 pm just like the NA.

This is a complete bullkitten argument as the amount of time it will take West Coasters to get in with queues is the same amount of time it would have taken your EU Guild to wake up at 9am and play all day Saturday.

I’m sure you are thrilled that you are going to see increased turnout for your extra hour or two of playtime. Somewhere between 75-90% of all NA Guilds just had their major weekly Guild Event destroyed by this.

It seems pretty clear most of EU has no clue about the kinds of queues NA sees on Reset all the way down to T6-7.

This isn’t as simple as “oh just delay your Guild Event for a few hours” – this change has pretty much made WvW Guild Events impossible on Reset.

A 10am Friday Reset would’ve been better than the current choice because hopefully SEA/Oceanic/EU players on NA Servers would be done/burned out by the time most NA people get home.

As it is, most of NA simply won’t get to play on Reset because of queues and frustration. It will lead to people quitting the game with no guarantee they return when Split-Reset times are finally put in. And that is really bad for ANet.

Agree with this 100%, atm if you miss your queue on reset night in NA, the night is done because the queues alone are 4+ hours for certain BL’s. I am all for a fix for EU, to be honest I was unaware your reset’s were at 1-2 am. which actually makes it even more sad that it has taken this long for anet to fix this issue. I am also confused as to why anet would band-aid fix the problem by creating another problem for a new region. I think instead of arguing that EU has been dealing with this for 8 months and its time for NA to deal with it, it should be more of make EU reset at 8pm EU time leave NA alone. Anet has made games before, why so last minute with this fix. Take a week or 2 and implement a system that allows EU and NA to play on reset night at reasonable hours for both parties.

I think this pretty much sums up what actually happens at Anet quite well, remember everyone that it was only recently that anet actually recognized that WvW has a strong player base.
