The Elementalist as an earth underwater weapon to be placed at the bottom of any bodies of water. Causing gysers to open on land and in the water create other types of effects.

I can see the Engineer using such a weapon as well on land like summoning the great
Junundu worms of Elona… someday.

A Ranger could start a stampede with it.

Norns don’t need it they’re 10 feet tall and only need their feets for thumping.

Please discuss as I thing it would be a cool addition to the weapon list.

I think it’ll be without underwater combat, I would have hoped for a lake or 2 or a river but I don’t think it’ll be so. I love underwater combat and others love it too and some don’t. In Guild Wars there was water everywhere but we couldn’t swim in it. Now that we can, Anet is deciding to make only creeks and ponds. I find that a jungle with waterfalls that end up becoming only creeks and ponds is not only unimaginative but it is also uninspired, lame and lazy all in the name of avoiding to fix a problem or making the feature better. A jungle this size without water is lame I simply hope we are all wrong about this. This is the only expansion I’ll buy without water, if we get 2 in a row I’m out. No new underwater legendary will most certainly confirm Anet’s quitting the creation of new underwater content. Therefore loose a certain percentage of the playerbase.

This says it all I could not put it more elequently. This thread needs a firm dev response. There is absolutely no logical at all resons not to open SAB 1and 2 permanently. It would give something more to do for players like me who enjoy that
place. Please for crying out loud OPEN THE DARN PLACE!!!

You have a chance here to redeem yourselves as an awesome company. Personally, I’m not really into the SAB, but to witness so many players outside the box filled with hype, and then to witness that hope and excitement die out before me, frustrates me in a way I can only compare to cruelty. It’s as if all those players were kids before Christmas, anxious and excited to wake up to a bunch of gifts, but only to wake up and find nothing. Please, for your own sake, justify the reason for denying this gift to the players who so eagerly wish for the SAB’s return.

When it’s not a place holder it’s a prank, besides we all know darn well Anet would not announce it for that far away many players would flat out quit knowing there’s another 5 months to wait. I would be first, another 6 weeks without a date and I’m flat out. I also need to read the words, closed beta test by April 7th as well.

Internet stable client crashed 4 times in the past 10 minutes. There were no patch topay so what gives?

went from Asus GTX 580 on I7, 2600, 3.4 with and average of 55 to 60 FPS
to Asus Strix 960 still on my I7, 2600 with a new average of 83 to 117 FPS.
As for my CPU I’m waiting until after aluch to see how things go.

No swimming for you. On a different note Anet avoid any and all conversations, having to do with lakes, rivers and oceans and finally under water combat, You won’t need them. All we’ve seen since adding maps to the wastes, are ponds and creeks, something only duck look forward to. I know it doesn’t prove there will be no lakes and rivers in the jungle but from what we’ve seen so far. Come on Anet stop the water embargo and come talk to us. You know, the ones who will buy your expansion.

Cost doesn’t scare one bit, what does scare me is finding out the box has only 5 × 3 layers zones. Saying a zone has 3 layers is not the same as having 3 maps in one, we will find a lot of empty spaces. I might find myself out an MMO if it’s 5 zones or less.

The best way to help is to follow their instructions if they need you to join with the rest of the server in a fight you do it without question.

Well for one thing you can start by accepting the fact that since day one of this game they always claimed that Kodan will remain forever and ever a story race and never a playable one.

Do we know if the expansion uses any Direct X from this millenium?

They already confirmed no new race this time around I think you’re a bit way way late.
I also have a bad feeling about the jungle, Anet having done away with water for the remainder of the planet, I fear the only water we’ll swin in, inside the jungle will be knee deep. The only water we saw so far in the videos is waterfalls and creeks ankle high. How lame would it be for a jungle to need no water. We all saw what happened with the lake on the map before Silverwastes and after, they decided it was less work to turn it into a pond, where even birds don’t want to land on.

You mean the same frame rate that got me from 60 to 63 and the next day I bought an Asus Strix GTX and now I get anywhere from 83 to 117. I think you need a new card.
My old one was an Asus GTX 580.

With Anet as our government, we would have them to blame for all the high taxes and general all around corruption, and let’s not forget becoming more and more a police state.

Read the first loved it but I have yet to read the other 2 that are in my wall unit.

Tanks for all the laughs guys but I’m still not gonna buy a crappy outfit that was done the exact same way for both gender and all 3 types of armor because for me it symbolizes a tottal lack of effort in order to make a quick buck wich makes this outfit not worth 10 gems.

Oh I forgot Anet idea #4 a set of 2 dancing racial holograms, such as Tengu, Largos, Kodan, Hyleck or the new races in Heart of Thorns. If those can’t go as a birthday gift I would gladly buy them in the store. Again this was part of the collector edtion in Factions and I still think one of the best ideas yet.

Please Anet don’t be lame this year, don’t make it something repetitive.
Here’s something original. 1; A weapon skin at random selected from among any of the past weaponskin collection. Idea 2 create a 3rd birthday ascended armor collection from which we could get 1 or 2 pieces of it per character again at random. Idea #3 A 3rd birthday ascended weapon collection including water weapons again we get one of these at random per character.

Should you decide not to go with any of these ideas at the very least be original and not repetive like last year where I was part of an 8 children family and our unoriginal parents gave us all the same lame game gifts.

Angry Joe already has shown us in his interview 2 Heart of Thorns wooden boxes with the title carved on the cover. Secondly this si not a full game and thirdly beta tests have never been very long with Anet.
Even if they mention not knowing the launch I’m betting they will try their best for a GW 1’s 10th anniversary for a GW 2 launch date. Worst case scenario mid May.

So many people suggesting Q3 because you read it from that korean investment company, they suck and will always do, get new arguments for the release date or simply agree with it being for this spring.
Argument: Anet’s policy to announce content in a nearly finished state.

This, you can bet the first beta demo to be on March 6th and most likely a release in time for the 10th GW anniversary.

Tengu will very likely emerge from their city when we go after Primordius. The Destroyers have been at their wall for over 2 years now. They will need our help if they are to survive. When will we go after Primordius? That is a story for another time, humans, plants, giants, cats and gnomes .

Then get angrier or take a chill pill’ cause Anet aren’t about to make 4 storylines and go to Cantha in 3044.

They would invite us for sure if we saved them from Primordius who’s forces have been attacking them since launch.

For this year the idea is way too late for implementation but who knows for 2016.

My thoughts about maps are that “Heart of Maguma” is only one of many explorable regions within the 2 territories in the expansion. Maguma Jungle and Maguma Wastes. Why Maguma Wastes because we are not in the jungle yet and on the video we see Rytlock walking in a new wastes region. Looking at the present map what was known in GW 1 as the Maguma Jungle is now shown as Magus Falls. However Magus Falls was only one explorable region in GW 1 it is also where Mordremoth was hibernating.
