thats obviously a pve build , you know that the builds are split between pvp/pve/wvw right ? if i would make a screen on my ele while im in LA to show my winstreak, you would also see my pve build with fire signet and frostbow , which is obviously not my pvp build

It’s free to play, why pay for anything , make a new account and play PvP, it is so much easier to advance with new accounts, don’t know what all the complaining is about. To think any1 in leagues plays for anything other then the chance at some cash its a joke. Lot’s of none HoT setups work great.

I 99% soloQ so this is my take on the Season.

1) MMR completely destroyed PvP . I can’t be alone when I say that there are terrible nubs throughout all the divisions. It feels completely unchallenging and unrewarding. GW2 direction to pamper all the pvers to PvP is just awful and shame on you. Many have actively been looking elsewhere for a better pvp experience. The gaming community sees GW2 as a complete let down compared to the past. Make this game great again we want it -been here since GW1 beta.

2) I am more a fan that each of the classes should have their own strengths and weaknesses, but the direction of the classes has really felt like a blended hodgepodge. With that said, the overall balance of the classes feels better then last season.

Just like I says, connection failed on 1st fight. got back in pretty quick but > the threshold. We won the game and I still lost a pip and got dishonor. Ok fine but what does this tell me???
It sends the message if you pass the d/c threshold just don’t rejoin because it’s not gonna help your outcome. If anything Just call it even and not lose a pip or give the pip back, the game was ultimately won, as unlikely as it should happen.

3 sec long skill and It could use a little love. Being knocked around while in berserk mode because only 1 stack of stability is lame, berserk mode already got nerfed enough.

I agree that the PvP devs are really PVERS.
Necros are ok, there are plenty of counters.
I think the balance in the game as far as classes is better then last season.
The truth is MMR is utter garbage. If you don’t believe me make another account and play and see how easy it is to go threw ea division in 2-3 hours.

Can we get soloQ back?

Playing solo in ranked arena is extreme frustration .

Why can’t we have soloQ?

Frustration is about the best soloQing has to offer, typically unbalanced on one side with the occasional close match game.

Ranked Sucks for solo player.

So how do you know who’s teamed up now? Seems like it’s changed so you have no idea if vs a team or random players, any1 enlighten me.

I generally don’t use “save yourselves”, because the CD even with it normalization. In the past it was used with RF to counter the conditions at the expensive price of long cool downs x 2.

Shouts need some love to compete with the current state of the game, here’s a couple ideas.

1) Pure of voice and Altruistic healing should be combined.
Having both these in two different trait lines and both grand master is legacy compared to many other skill reworks.

2) “Pure of Voice” be adjusted from 1 to 2 “conditions to boons” .
Conditions converted to boons currently is 1 per shout. To be fair a shout build might run 3 shouts with an average recharge of 28 seconds/shout , while running Pure of Voice. That is very low condition removal compared to many other support builds and can not compete with “Signets of suffering”, for example, which would be a direct counter as it converts 2 boons to conditions and provides 3 stacks of might along with skill reduction when running Signets of suffering.

Totally agree.
I can’t stand the wash all classes together BS. It’s like why would you have classes anyway if they didn’t have different roles. I guess it pleases the masses to make the gameplay more simple and universal so every1 can do everything most the time.

DH might have a role in pvp but it’s not likely meta. Traps might be the easiest thing to die from if you have no clue how to play but any experienced player mostly laughs at the ease in which you can avoid them. The F1-F3 skills are not all that great, any one of them can be interrupted. Any decent thief laughs at a DH along with most classes.

something to the effect of the F4 virtue which is a switch for either new virtues or old virtues.

Please move it to somewhere useful.

Honestly I think a swap in radiance with retribution ( retribution makes total sense in virtues with the retail and might give supreme justice some competition ) or in valor , swap with communal defenses.

in addition…
- please bring back Mighty Blow +JI combo
- change Mighty Blow baseline to ~1750 to make it a viable option instead of LB

I rarely play mesmer in PvP, and I think every1 here knows how key binds work, you might want to try a console game.

Thief definitely works especially at that level. Players that complain cause a thief is on team are used to players (thiefs) that suck because it’s not a forgiving class. You don’t need meta thief either, to be effective, there are at least several strong builds .

I’m not sure how players can’t be toxic while PvPing at least in soloQ. The amount of 4v’s , beast lovers , and zerg point and run players is kittenen beyond anything we’ve had in the past.
We went from some of the best PvP gaming to the most painful.

Random Matchmaking cannot work in gw2. There is too large of a difference in power between the skill ceiling and the skill floor. You’d get proleage/near proleague players coming into matches against rabbits, and the farming that would result would not be fun for either the top player or the scrub.

This isn’t CoD or Dice’s Battlefront. This game isn’t designed around mixing high and low level players.

1)Try to think about it, 10 random people. so that is 10 individuals placed randomly on a map and divided into 2 teams of 5 ( no teams just random players )

2) if you don’t think there is massive amounts of manipulation atm then your blind, it’s already happening

Please fix some of the clear problems.

Last thing addressed in PvP , I believe was “Queuing Outside of HotM” and the response is less then desirable.

Yes, You heard it it 1st, the idea is so novel and unique that it will blow your mind ! Have a ranked PvP randomQ, No kittenen matchmaking, just 10 random mofo’s that want to fight ! You can also add a matchmaking button that would bypass this and allow for a division match in case players want to wait a long time and have a greater challenge.

feels broke can’t get favor, influence etc. I dont care about rapid upgrading, just want activities i do to account for something in the guild.

I should say tiny, 2 man guild one mostly afk w/ the expansion. Had tons of upgrades etc, So everything I do now does not go toward anything guild related, sucks.

Stuck on tier 5 , about 40 losses on it so far, prob around 8:1 loss/win ration. Closer to 50% on the other tiers.

Hi,

I appreciate a lot of the game updates with the recent patch and see the game history as a cool feature. My suggestion would be to include a longer history and to have the ability to right click on the game and show the stats or the score board from that game. Now that would be awesome.
