A +25% movement signet (probably) wouldn’t change the speed of our illusions so it’s still easy to walk away from them.

What downside should Reanimator have? You don’t rally if you kill the minion so it’s an additional target to TAB through and potential +20 toughnes if you are at least 15 points deep in the traitline.
It may not be a good trait, but it doesn’t hurt the necro in any way.

I’m playing thief for ~2 weeks now and i’m already hating this trait…since i’m using offhand dagger for stealth i always end up revealing myself when i try to stealth away to heal -.-
/edit: And yes, mesmer decoy works while revealed. It also doesn’t stack with other stealth sources (weird skill/effect…).

Stealth in general is fine. Only change the following:
- Nerf combo stealth (BP + HS/Clusterbomb).
- Reveal on block/miss.
Not sure if this is widely known, but the Pistol sneak attack gives you 5 100% projectile finishers. Using a water field and deselecting your target, it’s possible to stack quite a good amount of regeneration.

Maybe it’s not as important in PvP, but in PvE/WvW where you actually have to travel some way, mesmers are BY FAR the slowest class.
Given the amount of buffs other classes received, it’s only fair to change one of our useless signet passives (midnight, inspiration) to +25% movement speed.

This could potentially be very op…a PU stealth build has around ~5 permanent boons (Retaliation, Protection, Regeneration, Might, Fury). That would mean 15% dmg reduction, combined with 33% from protection and possible 9% from Illusionary Defense = 57% reduced damage.
A few good ideas here but what we really need is a passive +25% movement speed so we aren’t forced to take focus, centaur/air runes or staff (spamming #2 to run from a zerg).

It’s not only the frequence in which the #6 bonus can be applied, it’s the duration too. 10s base is way too high compared to any other source of confusion in the game (especially mesmers, which are supposed to be the masters of confusion and are laughable compared to this).

Actually, i don’t think any class should be able to apply permanent poison just by auto-attacking. Maybe necros, because they are meant to be condition masters but the condition should be timed to counter heals and not be spammed.
This does not mean that i’m against giving warriors any way to apply poison. It should be hard to access, however, as condi specs are already in a pretty good shape.

Try staying closer to the center. I barely ever had to dodge and sometimes it’s easier to run back and forth between 2 safe zones (or, better said, it’s always easier but the clones will reach you this way and you’ll have to deal with them).

Don’t know about american servers but try to play during off-times. I did Liadra at 7am on a german server when there was hardly anyone in the area at all.

//edit: The fight mechanic itself is totally fine. Bugs should be fixed but if you can’t beat Liadra the way she is you are too bad to do so. It’s meant to be a challenge.

The new portal item effectively gives every class (at least in PvE) an exact copy of the mesmer portal skill which is one of the main reason to play mesmer in PvE.
The new runes apparently afflict much more and longer confusion than any of our skills (see https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Superior-Rune-of-Perplexity). 5 stacks confusion for 10s base duration overshadows everything we got ourselves to apply confusion.
Really seems like ArenaNet is trying to remove the mesmer from the game.
/edit: Seeing the current power creep it seems that ArenaNet simply “forgot” to adjust mesmer accordingly to other classes (or better: Adjust other classes to the mesmer. We don’t need power creep).

This “stealth exhaustion” is…not a really good idea. I’m currently playing thief and against a lot of opponents i basically have to chain CnD (which is easy to dodge/anticipate) to survive and wait for my utilities/steal to recharge.
Also, CnD was __hit (filter -.-) hard by the blind buff. You have to get near to the opponent and actually waste an attack on them (potentially getting blinded again) to be able to get your CnD off. I miss 2 CnD and i have to run for my life.

Equal to the many mesmer stealth abilities, the stealth from different sources would not stack (combo finisher counting as the same source).
So, you suggest that BP + HS would still allow easy stacking of 10s stealth? That’s bad. This particular combo is everything that needs to be nerfed, everything else about thieves is quite balanced.
