I’d like to note that I keep getting butter in one out of every five bags at minimum in Frostgorge. This is getting stupid, haha.

BTW, I have yet to receive a single powerful blood from a bag ever. XD

It could simply be that people buy mithril in bulk to convert into orichalcum… maybe. XD

The alternate to getting Pow/Prec/Tough exotic armor if you don’t want to craft is to either buy it from the trading post, or gather the materials and have a friend or stranger craft it for you.

Dungeons might be an alternate – but it somewhat requires you to be outfitted in decent gear to begin with in order to have a fighting chance of survival, haha.

As long as the sound is only there when I’m wearing at least the chest AND leggings, I’m fine with it. It wouldn’t make sense if you were wearing town clothes or were naked from broken armor.

A gigantic amount of icons don’t fit the weapon/armor, or are outright wrong, from the TP to even say, Ebon Vanguard weapons (they use the basic speargun icon for their gun and the Ebon dagger for the spear).

Unfortunately, I don’t see this being fixed for quite some time if ever since it’s not ‘game breaking’. Your best bet is to look up the weapon or armor you want outside of the game, and then try to look it up on TP as best you can using the PvE name of it and using filters. So your coat, you would be looking for armor, exotic rarity, level 70-80, “duelist”. That should bring up the duelist coat I believe you’re looking for (the model worn by the human male thief representative on character creation, I think?).

This would be nice. My warrior’s theme at the moment uses Midnight Ice heavy armour, so I’ve resorted to buying a few Ebon Vanguard weapons to fit the theme. If I ever decide to switch colours, it would be nice to be able to switch the colours of the weapons too.

I’ve been thinking of getting all the pieces with pow/vit/tough for added survivability in dungeons and WvW. Not sure what to get for the helmet though, there isn’t a pow/vit/tough one for that, haha.

Try getting map completion in an area with quests and stuff, not in a city?

I would like to see the return of Dhuum… though it wouldn’t fit the current lore.

Make all of the six gods appear floating instead and they surround the botter in a circle, and follow if the botter is moving. They all raise their arms with whatever themed weaponry and strike down at the same time with light effects. Botter dies, account banned/suspended.

I normally hate PvP, but don’t mind WvW too much because due to the large scale numbers, it’s not as ‘personal’. Instead, it’s more of an anonymous feel to it, so you could just join in with a large bunch of players and fight with them, and then leave without saying anything once you’re done.

For me, the most hilarious moment after knowing a little about Destiny’s Edge is when you first properly go to Lion’s Arch, and as you go up the stairs, you see a bunch of kids of all races playing with each showing, showing how racially diverse Lion’s Arch is.

Then you stop to listen to the kids and realise they’re roleplaying as Destiny’s Edge, and picking roles… and the charr kid goes “I’m Logan, and I’m gonna run away.”

Total spit-out-drink moment there. XD

Also, after their argument and they all walk away in different directions… HEY EIR! YOU FORGOT YOUR DOG! Maybe it’s a bug or something, but Garm just stays there. XD

There’s already a ton of clipping with compatible armor anyway (try wearing any leggings of heavy armor with strong banded heavy armor legs for example, or draconic leggings with the exotic armageddon legs). Some combinations of light/medium/heavy armor do work as I’ve seen in preview, so it would be up to the person transmutating it to see what works best.

Rare Transmutation Stone – the ability to transmute your armor with the appearance of an armor which is of a different class.

So, you could have your warrior wearing what appears to be leather chest and leggings, and have armored limbs, with maybe a light armor mantle.

Make them pricy like 500 gems per stone, I don’t care. I just want to see if it could happen.

Sore,y if this has been asked before, but what exactly are the reasons that the waypoints cost anything in the first place? What is ArenaNet trying to accomplish by having this in the game?

Moneysink – the less money you have, the more tempting it is to buy gems with real money and convert to gold.

At least, this is what most free-to-play (barring initial costs) games work with, using microtransactions. I suppose we should be thankful it hasn’t gotten to the point where real money is the only way to play.

Best thing I can think of is to give certain NPCs in the storylines which follow you (such as Logan), 10x health (or more depending on their important in lore, such as the members of Destiny’s Edge who by rights are the premier heroes of the game) and the ability to self-resurrect after say, 10 seconds. You could always reduce their damage so they can’t kill boss characters on their own, just the odd minion or two.

Bumping this because it’s relevant to my human female guardian and mesmer. Sometimes they sound normal when fighting, then all of a sudden high pitched HNNK sounds.

Sometimes I wish arenanet gave us optional style of voices to use as well, not just in combat but in general areas (not storyline, would be too much to re-record), for example, the default voices for male and female could be considered “smug” (I achieve things; I’m an achiever!), give us options like “peacelover”, “aggressive”, “smart”, etc.

Haha, Warriors already have too many weapons. Then again, I’m not complaining much… except for the ability to dual wield two handed sword and two handed axe!

Hoping they’ll add in several street rat/commoner/noble clothing so you can dress up according to your story profile… or disregarding your beginnings.

Thanks. In response to your query, level 70-80 Pit Fighter exotic armor, as far as I’m aware, is found from random rewards for map completion (the three orr maps and frostgorge sound). Since it’s random drop from map completion, it means it’s pretty rare and thus, you might have to go to the trading post to get it. Look for exotic armor from 70-80 and look for Pit Fighter.

Alternatively, you MIGHT to be able to get it from the Mystic Forge via random drop… but I’d rather not risk it, haha.

Should mention that it’s ingame now, when you report a character or mail, the option “gold seller” is there. No more debating if you should report a gold seller account as spam or bot, now you can report it as gold seller.

You’re lucky that they ran away, I’d had mobs go invincible on me and continue to attack me, both on land and in water, and this was with minimal moving around.

Something I heard about being in a party is that for looting purposes, you still need to hit an enemy, but your party’s damage (if they hit the same mob) is applied to yours as well for better chance of loot dropping.

While I don’t know if this is verified or not, I swear more things drop for me when I’m in a party rather than when I’m alone.

Also, the staff is great for Guardians. The cone angle for the auto attack is 90 degrees or more, so it’s really wide.

Can anyone identify the PvE name of the top armour shown, and if only available via karma vendor, the location of the vendor?

I’ve pretty much stopped using banners except for the war banner because of that… and even then, only when I know people aren’t gonna run off with it (i.e. during champion attack or super event like dragon).

At least shouts are good too.
