Why would I abandon my server, it’s currently the second strongest English speaking EU WvW server.
I’m merely saying how drastically the situation changed. I had to wait few hours before and now not only do I enter instantly but with outmanned buff.

Vabbi vs FoW vs RoS.
Vabbi is one of the server who does bug exploits or hackings en masse (don’t know which one it was but they got into our keep without any of the outer nor inner walls and gates being down, and no it wasn’t a mesmer because it was a first time penetration after reset).
They also have some people who will buy upgrades on our keep RIGHT when vabbi starts to siege it and we get left with no or every few supply and this has happened every time they took our keeps now…

I won’t deny that there are US mockings :p But it’s the same for you guys towards EU people.
Also so far everyone accepts english as the main language to be spoken openly and we’ve had no language problems at all. Mainly because the germans, french and spanish all already have their own language servers and the ones who play the other server now, do it accepting english as the openly spoken language. RoS has people from all over Europe, we have French, Germans, British, Dutch, etc…
And like was said before, The US has a LOT of different languages too.
All you need is some courage to make the step. You might even like it! The transfers ar still open, why don’t you try transferring to an EU server (RoS maybe ? :p) for like 2-3 days and see if you like it ?
Also, the RoS Primetime starts quite late and goes quite late too (till like 1-2 AM CET) And by then you you US’rs will also be online. We also have a small night krewe of dedicated players wanting to make a difference.

How about you guys start transferring to EU servers too instead of asking the EU and Oceanics and whatever to come to you ?
There are very few American guilds in the EU servers, but there are plenty of EU guilds over there. We need to balance things out.
So I hope you read this thread and start to think about it.
I won’t tell you to go to a certain server (although I would like you to come to Ruins of Surmia where we could use your help a lot). But so far I’ve only seen the latin guilds go to Barukh Bay and the French Canadians go over to the french servers, there are very few US guilds on the other Servers, probably a few here or there.
Fact is, the US servers are already very full while the EU servers could use your help a lot.

Although I agree with you that people complain too much about invisibility and stuff, there are several things I would like to remark:
1) There are no dye colors in WvW, it’s either, red, blue or green, except for your allies.
2) They should have dynamic culling, which takes place when there’s a huge number of players and not with a smaller skirmish which is also happening now.
3) Fix the kitten culling on the thief going in and out of invis!
4) there should be an option where you could just disable ALLY and ENEMY armour set and set it all to a specific one. and Also set your ally dye colours. Because it’s your allies who are creating the most culling lol.
5) In such a situation I prefer to not see my allies at all, except for maybe a round green circle below them so that I can know that they are there and give priority to the enemy loading.
6) Give an unloaded enemy that is CLOSE ENOUGH (<— very important part because an enemy could be trying to hide) a red circle below him too. That circle may be removed after the enemy has loaded enough.
7) What happens a lot is that right after I’m dead I can see a lot of the enemy. At that point I don’t even need to see them anymore. They should cut off sending culling data to me and give priority to the ones still living.

I get 2-3 gold a day from WvW and that is after having spent 1-2 gold on repair costs+ siege. And I’m on the second lowest ranked server where we don’t get easy pickings, hard work and a lot of dying and sieging is required.

Well , we at the last tier have been fighting the Germans all the time and the FoW are also non-existant.
We’re fighting back as hard as we can, but we just don’t have enough people to fight them off. Yet we still put up a fight as hard as we can.
Although we DO look forward to next week where as the standings stand, you (WR) will drop to the last tier. We’re rejoicing because we will finally not have a german zerg to fight.

Aside from froggie, you guys obviously haven’t played last tier where it is 5 vs 1 almost all the time and they own everything almost all the time.
There’s no “bigger” scheme that’s so difficult to understand that it needs to be sat together at a table for. Green pwns us blue and us red on our own. It is very obvious that we need to work together, all it’s about is not going for each others objectives and fighting in 1 map when necessary.
Which RoS has been trying to do with success. FoW got their garrison and orb back, we backed away and attacked Dzagonur borders.
At one point we even had 15 points more than dzagonur. Though very brief because FoW decided to invade our borders instead of dzago which were practically empty.
They started taking all camps in our BL and quaggans and the bottom 2 towers, which is why we had get back from EB. and back to our BL because the quaggans had destroyed the altar, which we then repaired. During the move from EB to BL half our force went to sleep (4 am already) there was almost no one left to defend EB, Dzago just took semi-empty towers, making EB all green and then invading FoW borders to take the green orb.

PS: if you want to talk about cowardly: there are certain german guilds who are constantly server hopping to the lowest tier german server so they can steamroll through WvW all the time. Cowardly enough for you ?

how is the situation now at the second last tier matchup ? I’m guessing that if Drakkar is first, us (last tier) will finally have a non german server to fight again next matchup!

And it’s not bad enough that they have superior numbers compared to ours, but when we went to FoW borders and took hills. We made a through search for anyone left behind.
I make sure to watch the map every minute, and I noticed that hills was completely fine, not even the white swords behind it. And just about 1 minute later, hills is already gone…
I can’t prove that they’re hackers but it takes at least a while to take down the lord or even the inner gate or they would have had huge numbers, which is impossible cause 20-30 are attacking bluelake, even more are defending garrison and and another 20 are botting in the water.

At the last tier the situation is very unbalanced, on 1 side you have a german server almost all the time and then you have RoS and FoW.
Now what happens is when german server rotates up and another rotates down, there are certain guilds and just random people who transfer from the server who went up a tier to the german server on the lowest tier just so they can steamroll us.
So far these are the guilds I can confirm or partially confirm that have been transferring servers and i’ve seen them all the time.
1) Düsteres Schicksall (Düsi) —> I’ve seen them all the time in drakkar lake and I’m seeing them again in dzago.
2) Vermächtness -> I saw the in Dzago before then I saw them the first 3 days of WvW in Drakkar lake and some off an off again sometimes, and now I’m seeing them again in Dzagonur.
3) [JUMP] being one of the guilds that server jumps was mentioned, i can’t personally confirm this as this was mentioned by someone else, but I can say that I have seen that tag before.
4) There is a LdF – Legion der Finsterniss on Drakkar and a HdF – Helden der Finsterniss. It might be that they got 2 guilds on those both servers to cover their tracks.
I might be saying this because I’m the victim but I find that kind of behavior very immature and not fun for us and for the ones who are actually serious about WvW in the german servers. I would like ANet to confirm that they have been transferring (can they do that ? I really hope they can) servers and then either lock their ability to transfer server permanently or block them from WvW, either one of those would suit me as banning is a bit harsh even for those immature people (ofcourse only the ones who have been transferring servers as the others have done nothing wrong, except for several commanders camping our Jumping puzzle with 20+ warriors with rifles >_>).

Haha, quite funny.
On our side at RoS we decided to give up on taking SM, instead we went to their corner and just started hitting the keep. We almost got through the inner gate when took sm and ported back to wipe us
But we took jerrifers! And that tower held off Zee Ge-man A-mee for half an hour (time frame for FoW to have almost lost their keep) Then the whole of their army started hitting us on 2 sides, we repelled them twice. But 4-5 golems are too much for 10 or so defenders
Soon only our keep in EB was left standing, even our BL were lost(also our orb >_>).
When we lost that too, our ninja squads took over Red overlook, which they didn’t defend at all. But soon we lost that too and everything was green
But we didn’t give up! We started ninja hitting several towers, and what did we notice ? The germans had logged out! So quickly we took back our corner in EB and our, garrison and 2 towers in BL. We even had Hills back, where the orb was (inner 10%) until they got wiped. We even went on to take ogrewatch and veloka, we had the overlook outer and inner down, they had 0 supply, but Lord + germans + 3 orbs was too much for the 10 of us
We went in again, outer still down, broke inner and wiped again. Then we came again, just to notice there were only 5-6 of us left and Zee Ge-man A-mee was here to defend it. We defended veloka as long as we could ( over an hour) when we then lost veloka and ogrewatch And that is when i logged.

The fact that they added only 1 new server is actually quite odd, who will they match it up with ? It’s the odd one out.
EDIT: I don’t see it on e the list anymore, but they might be adding new servers in the coming week ?

Then the DEYS alliance followe together with 2 guilds from the Black Cartel alliance.
Only my guild from the BCA remained (Another one had already left for gandara).
Then the small guilds went.
Then the PvE’rs went because the maps were too deserted for them.

Funny thing is. Over half our points were gained during the first 17-18 hours where we managed to keep our corner of EB AND our BL, even FoW managed to keep some. We thought we had found our match… Until other german guilds transfered in to Drakkar to make our life hell again.
And that is the result you see.

Ruins of Surmia is still looking for People from ALL AROUND the world, we need just need more people IN GENERAL. We have no queus at all. We have 2, sometimes 3 borderland empty. And it’s basically a ghost town during the night. So after scaring you with that: We got a very nice community who doesn’t know when to give up.
We’re very resilient kind of people looking for more people!
We also need US people in our server, because we tend to lose everything during the night even when we manage to take something.

how about you stop being so overdramatic, there are server who have it MUCH worse than you. Right now Ruins of Surmia and Fissure of Woe have it the worst of all servers. Some MORE guilds have transferred away from RoS because of our current matchup and we already had none incoming.

I’ve found that since the new patch, mist form and lightning flash aren’t breaking stun.
I can transform or teleport to the location, but I can’t move, i’m stuck until the stun is gone.

To prove that, we(RoS) went to FoW borderlands (it was all green). Then we started hitting Bluelake, and most of Drakkar lake came to us. Meanwhile FoW got free play to get the 2 towers around it and then start sieging Garrison. We took that chance to take hills (fully upgraded), and then we hit greenbriar, meanwhile FoW was going back and forth at garrison, losing a tower, regaining it, entering through the outer gates and then out again. It is not until we started sieging bay (where the orb is) did FoW finally get garrison. We had entered through the outer gates and were hitting inner when Drakkar all retreated from garrison so that that FoW has free play to get garrison.
But we got wiped at outer because drakkar focused completely on us, we were only 20-30 men vs a 50-60 zerg.
Blue lake was really hard to get because hills had a waypoint and we couldn’t spare enough people to keep hills contested (sending 1-2 wouldn’t help because they would just die).
Hills was slightly easier to take because they couldn’t get in through south and they had to go through north and walk all the way. We were only up against around 15-20 defenders.
Briar also had 15-20 defenders vs now a 30 man zerg. It was easy to clean the walls of any newly built ac (we didn’t give them the time, we also made sure they didn’t have any supply camps) so we then took the fully upgraded briar and went on to siege bay, which now had 20-25 defenders, by the time we got through inner they now had around 30 defenders, of which then even more came in from garrison because they didn’t want to lose the orb. They also quickly retook briar. We then held them off for about 2-3 hours, the map was diamant shaped red on top, bay, briar and vale was green, lake, lowlands and hills was blue with victor’s switching colours from blue to green all the time, but being mostly blue.
Slowly our players logged off, until we had 7 man left against 40-50. We then held on for half an hour while being hit by 3 trebs and a cata after which we lost bluelake and hills was really quickly zerged.
I must also note that FoW tried their hand at bay but they didn’t really get far, after that FoW only defended garrison and didn’t do much else. After hills was lost, so was the rest of the map and it quickittenurned all green again.
But atleast we destroyed 2 fully upgraded keeps, 2 fuly upgraded towers (and 2 towers of unknown upgrades).
So I’m just saying that we RoS and FoW just need more players. The ones who are still there NEVER give up. But it is annoying when there are a few German guilds who like to stay in the lowest tier and keep transferring to the lowest ranked server.

I can see perma swiftness and ride the lightning, but warrior has basically both of those and more. What am I missing?

That somewhat closes the gap, but the warrior still has more. Is there anything else?
The fact that you can do it every 15 seconds (burning speed and RTL have 15 secs cd). And if you’re being chased: Aura’s will either chill or shock the followers. And Ride the lightning goes really far.
Then there’s a skill in earth (forgot the name) that will immobilize the opponent and drag you towards him if you’re close enough.
As for traits: Zephyr’s boon and Elemental attunements are the only traits you need for perma swiftness.

in the last tier we have a german server, and in the second to last tier there are 2 other german servers and they switch from last to second all the time. And there are certain german guilds who keep transferring to the last tier just for the reason above. And all those people trying to “win” by transferring are doing it for the reason above or just a derived reason from that. Which is causing all this imbalance and griefing.

I have to occasionly stop for them to catch up to me. If got zephyr’s boon and elemental shielding. Aura’s give me swiftness, fury and protection. So if they DO come close you can just do Frost aura or shocking aura, which will shock them for a second or chill them, slowing them down. Not even a thief can catch up to you or kill you.

Get an ele, get 2 daggers, get following 3 cantrips: mist form, lightning flash and armor of earth. Set your traits to survivability. Now you run around with an enemy zerg behind you making a fool of them, total fun =D

A lot of our members have left, first it was the big guilds, then it was the smaller ones and then the randoms and the PvE’rs, it’s now a ghost town outside of WvW they say.
We expect our situation to get better, but it keeps getting worse by the day.
