Traps are sold by the vendor for 15 badges and 525 karma; they will stack to 250 and are account-bound.
It takes a 4-second channel to place at feet.
Placing a trap uses very short-range ground targeting to assist in orientation.
Placed traps have a 600×90 rectangular trigger area; only enemies can trigger them.
Once triggered, traps affect up to 20 enemies within a range of 1200.
Traps cost 10 supply to place.

I put both options as the change didn’t affect me really.. As long as you are aware of when to restealth/counted number of attacks before; it wasn’t a major issue.

It WAS a major issue – DPS dropped like a brick for any stealth builds in PvE for no reason whatsoever.

The difference between the two isn’t that bad to get used to. A good player will be making a decent effort in disrupting your stealth->hit->combo->stealth routine anyway.

If it goes back up to 4 in PvE, I am done with the game.

I don’t really care for PvE. This thread is about WvW and Spvp. I’m not saying isn’t hard to to cope with. I’m just saying it’s a pain to constantly switch between 3 and 4 seconds.

No. This is an international game. It’s your server’s fault; not Arena net’s.

You should Keybind your utilities, It’s much faster than clicking and effective. I use QER, so they’re right beside when I use WASD.

I agree with OP. I think all initiative skills should cost 16 base initiative, and if you use a combo field, you go to half hp.

Agree, Dancing dagger was majorly nerfed because of quickness and they haven’t done anything to it. The warrior trait line in their Attack gives 10%+ to their spear and greatsword; yet the thief one’s dagger only gives +5%. And they already do more damage than thieves.. There is no logical balancing..

Yeah, I know of no spies personally, but as far as I’m concerned…it’s all part of the meta. Some people get really bent out of shape about it, but I just figure it’s a little spice added to the recipe.

I’m only getting disconnected on FABL, it hasn’t happened once on either of the other 3 maps. No lag (other than skill lag whenever the zergs are near of course.)

I’m going to assume you’re saying “my” as a I’m using this build and not I created it.. I’m sure someone used that build before me but I was using 0/20/30/20/0 in October w/ D/P. The build is very strong so it’s not really hard to kill people who have no idea how to react to it and uplevel’d players.

I disconnect multiple times throughout the day, rubberband, all my skills are on a delay.. Nothing works. I’d rather be killed by a zerg culling than not be able to play. And it’s not my ISP; I have 20 mbs download speed which should be enough for the game.

Pretty well balanced IMO. Versing enemy thieves was one of the biggest fears I had when planning around S/D but as I grow more experienced with the set I feel it to be (possibly) in a good spot for competitive play.
Currently in the process of making a video guide going over pros/cons, playstyle, possible build variants,analyzing viability, bugs and fixes for the set.

Nice action, Although Caed is very bursty; which allows you to kill him quite easily.

He must have had fury, (2554-916)/21=78, plus 4% base crit chance means 82%, adding fury gets him to 102%.
Not that it mattered all that much, thieves have pretty good access to fury if you really want it.
Funniest application of this build would propably be HS spam. Hell, with 100% crit and full zerker that should hit pretty decent even on higher health targets. Most likely not as good as a standard burst combo, but hey, it’s fun and that’s what matters

My set is full zerk. Like 100% of my gear is zerk. I use sigil of force on almost all my weapon sets somewhere and when those numbers were taken it was with a 30/30/0/0/10 build. Below is a picture of my stats when I was roaming in EB hitting those numbers. The build is trash in anything but a 1v1 but it will still give you a giggle or two doing it.

Okay show pics without hiding the rest of the screen as I’m sure you had fury. What you’re saying isn’t adding up. I can do the same thing as you but show 104%, show a full screenshot.
