Nothing is off the table lmao! Well the tables empty. It’s been two years and we’re hungry for more. (expansion) These tiny tid bit appetizers (living story) just isnt cutting it. We’re ready for the main course (Expansion) and if its not served up soon, many of us are going to leave the table and take our hunger elsewhere. Hope you don’t expect a tip!

I find it funny that the ESRB rating is T for teen when it should be E for everyone. The writing is so childish, that I’ve seen saturday morning cartoons with a better plot line.

Hi, I recently had an account restoration because I was hacked. In between the time of March 15 (the date my account was rolled back to) up to the date I was hacked, I had purchased $55 in gems. I made a $20 transaction buying 1600 gems then another $35 transaction for 2800 gems for a total of 4400 gems. Since my account was restored I lost the gems and the items i bought with them. I submitted a ticket OVER a week ago and have heard nothing! I have 4400 gems unaccounted for and would like them credited to my in game account! My ticket is #569838. I’ve been patient so far but I think a week is too long to make a paying customer wait.

I’ve purchased several Skins from the Gem store in the past and they have long since been transmuted. I was wondering if this will be retroactive where I will have access to all the skins I Purchased in the past.

If i have to go afk to take a leak, grab the phone or refill my coffee then I am going to. No game is going to dictate to me when I can and cant go afk because real life calls. This is an oversight on Anets part where they should have implemented an autoboot system for afking too long. How about the employee that failed to integrate this into the system gets a suspension from work? Whoever was banned for afking should have their accounts reinstated because this is becoming a total joke.
Why not ban all the afker’s in all the cities while they’re at it? morons…

I logged into the game and tried to type and it said I was suppressed due to excess messaging. I had just logged in and didnt say a word nor did i speak to anyone the last time i was on, so why am i muted? Is anyone else having this issue? I did notice map chat was rather quiet. This is on the tarnished coast server

Hows it an exploit? Its an actual tactic called a Phalanx if you want to get technical lol.

When I went in and faced the can-only-hit-rear boss we almost failed the entire chain sequence because of one bloody ranger.

His bear was on the champ, and it was against the side of the platform. No way for us to do damage. That kittening bear… After a while the ranger was smart enough to pull him back, made it with 2 bloody seconds to spare.

Rangers are just kitten . Still think they should get this skill:

“Mercy kill”

After failing the marionette living story event, there’s that laser that kills everyone. I was leveling in the zone far from the event and I got killed by that. I was a bit more than miffed. Please change it to only those participating in the event.

By dying, you were participating in the Living Story. If we were in real life, and a villain was aiming a super weapon at the city I was leveling in, I’m not going to stick around killing ten rats and hoping the army wins. I’d be on my way out until I knew it was safe.

But this isn’t real life, it’s a game I play to escape real life! If this game were comparable to real life, many of us wouldn’t feel the need to play it. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to waypoint to work. Have a great night!

She’s been in living story quite a bit. She hasnt had any huge roles but maybe she is sitting back and working from the sidelines.

Ah, the “Real Life” argument rears its head again. Setting aside the point that this is a fantasy mmo and not a “sim” game, can I assume that people who want “real life” in their game won’t mind a bit if we also include:

1. Permadeath
2. Necessary bio breaks for your character
3. Necessary food consumption or death
4. Aging (leading to reduced stats and, of course, more death)
5. Permanent injuries to your character (shame about that one-armed ranger…)

And so on and so forth. ’Cause, you know…reality, amirite?

No? Yeah, that’s what I thought. I have a hunch people wouldn’t be using the “But it’s real life!” defense then…

This, I will pay for an expansion, campaign, what ever you want to call it. In the mean time I’d rather they fix the core of the game (balancing, bug fixes, QOL updates) than add another layer of fluff and potentially more bugs.

You make it sound like we will be getting multiple feature bundles this year but i really doubt that. The first one will be released between march and june/july. This means that they worked on it for about 1/2 year. The feature bundle after that surely will be released at the end of the year.
I am pretty excited to see what we are going to get, the wording in the interviews was, as always, vague.

And to be tight lipped about what we can expect is foolish because we all know what game lies on the horizon in the near future. Players need some insight on whats to come and incentive to stay otherwise they’ll find another venue to be entertained.

Right, because content is undisputably more enjoyable when you know everything that is to come. Please give us spoilers for this chapter just as you have done for every other, heaven forbid we actually find ourselves surprised for once, we might enjoy it…

With their track record of adding content, if they don’t give any details at all, then a lot of people will make the assumption of nothing decent is coming in the near future and go elsewhere. You can buy into their to their stringing us along bull kitten, but many of us see right through it and with big titles being released, there will be far less to jump through Arenanets hoops.

I copy and pasted this from dulfy’s live stream notes. The part that intrigues me is they said theres amazing changes coming for the ranger. Could we finally be able to perma stow our pets? Or maybe were getting crossbows…. Unlikely, but crossbows would be great! Lol, what do you all think?

Spirit of Nature – right now it says it heals for 320 every 3 seconds but it actually heals for 480 every second due to a bug. We are aiming for 320 per second. It is still incredibly strong
Field type (combo fields) adding to all of the traps.

Empathic Bond – removing conditions from ranger even if the pet is dead – we are fixing that bug.

There are some amazing stuff coming for the ranger but we can’t talk too much about it yet (and also to other professions).

Mainhand sword issue – not being able to dodge. Looking to fix it, may not make it to the first balance patch.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the dungeon sellers and abusers of the tool ruined it for everyone else. Sucks for them, looks like they’ll have to earn their gold like the rest of us.

A lot of people like to look at the release notes to determine weather or not its worth logging in for the next 2 weeks.

Because the Durmond Priory is there (the protectors of lore) and Anet seeks out to destroy it.

Maybe while she was in the eternal alchemy, what she really saw was Queen Jennah opening the gates to the crystal desert and with our presence just being there, it prematurely awakens the Elder Dragon which causes more destruction than even scarlet herself can do. Perhaps to prevent such a fate she tried to capture Queen Jennah only to fail thus leading us into her path of destruction for the greater good.

Scarlet was first introduced during the Queens Jubilee and Jenna was her primary target but why? What was Jennah’s big announcement before being interrupted? Was it to open the gates to the crystal desert? Jennah is the only one with the authority to open the gates.

Guild wars 1 definatly isnt a beginner version. you had to earn your skills to mess around with your builds. gw1 required more than mindless zerging and spamming 1. So Gw2 is actually dumbed down and less complex compared to the original. Sometimes sequels aren’t as great as their predecessors.

I was reminiscing about that whole fire t3 re-skin fiasco from a while back and thought ,what if , we could re-skin or add effects to our weapons and armor ourselves using lodestones.
For example , you craft a sword using the ori sword , hilt , blade , inscription and a glacial lodestone and BAM – frosty pearl sword -either an icy reskin or just some icy particle effects.
The same process could be used when crafting armor.Just imagine your favorite set but with the elemental effects of your choice.
Already got gear ? No problem ! just toss’em in the mystic forge along with the appropriate lodestone for the desired effect.
