Oh no, I dont mind at all, by all means cap away. I only find it hypocritical that for weeks several from vizunah came here and said they were “forced” to stay awake due to PRX being here. But that was a complete lie, they would have been up night capping either way, they were just upset that they couldnt do it with no competition. And thats the truth.

Win or lose… matters little to me.

So what happened… I thought PRX’s presence was what was forcing you all to stay awake? Or so you all claimed day in and day out when we were beating you. And yet… when PRX leave.. do you go to bed? Oh no not at all. Because you know, if you cant get your 400+ ppt at night, you dont have a chance vs us in primetime <3

Now we also encountered VoTF when we were alone just east of our spawn tower, and we died before we could see one ennemy. Our scout told us where they came from, the video i have shows no mesmer elite nor curtain, and yet we witnessed the numbers after we were eating the floor.

While i agree 25 people isn’t called a huge zerg, i think this kind of clipping happens when you fight at a 40vs40 scale. Or in that case a 60vs20.
I think there are still CPC teeth and bones at this very place

I can tell you now we certainly dont run with 60 players, but you dont have to believe me. We upload a ton of videos of WvW very regularly on our youtube channel and you can see for yourself what numbers we run with straight from our footage. Its like earlier in this thread where a deso player said “crazy numbers VoTF at the SM defense” then I uploaded the video in response when we were about 17 players and he was surprised.

Now I am not saying you outnumber us as a guild, you dont. We run with 25-30 players which is more than the 20 you say you had. But we keep our raid together so that we can deal with lots of situations. The bay fight yesterday was one example of this. If you really want super small scale fights, I am more than willing to face any guild in spvp.

We never had 10 ballistas.
You weren’t alone from SFR in our bay, the whole map was here.
It took 20 mins because you came back 3 times and Deso too before we could repair our doors.

It’s wasn’t the most fun of the night because of the massive lag we all had, but it was certainly the most epic. Vizunah was very proud to ninja capture Garrison during this fight.

You did, we have the fraps of destroying all of it, so refuting something we will soon upload is pointless. We didnt have all of SFR in bay, and for the most part our pugs wiped very early. Also we didnt come back 3 times, we held out for a consecutive 14 minutes in 1 stand against your entire server respawning and running back to us, as well as IRON twice, again we have the fraps of it.

You will be able to watch it all soon enough ^^

But yes, certainly one of the most epic fights ive been in and props to all there who took part. I also laughed quite a lot when I noticed garrison got ninjaed, props to the players who thought of doing that

Over 400 kills tagged by each of our members against a combination of IRON, CDD, CPC, MORT, SYN in one single Bay fight before we wiped.

You can call us a zerg all you want, but when your entire server with a collective of 4 large guilds takes a total of 20 minutes to wipe us out of a keep where you had 10+ ballistas and arrow carts, then I think there is a bit more to it than just zerging

Friends,

for the “hide behind walls” thing i read too much since 1 month, you have to understand that the VS guilds have not big numbers like some enemy army. Except WL, CDD, FM MORT wich have numbers, others guilds have 15-20 active members in the same time.

That mean when you see a big zerg, there is a big chance it’s a zerg of Vizunians, the pick-up if you prefer. How do you want the pick-up to face organized angry guild like VoTF or ZDS or IRON for exemple? Of course they do it when they can, but a clever commander can’t make them wipe again and again. So, he use the legit defense of this game, the castle.

With all due respect thats just the problem. A server bloated with pugs who arent particularly organized is winning the WvW match ups solely because there is a fundamental flaw with the game format which lies in night capping. I for one done really care about night capping and points, for all it matters to me VS can win every single week and my life would not be remotely effected.

I do have a problem that everytime I log in to play the game, the result is that I am chasing a bunch of pugs back to a tower that has a upgraded door and 10 arrow carts behind it. All my primetime fights vs VS are playing cat and mouse and its incredibly boring.

When I entered T1 I expected intense fighting and organized resistance, instead I was met with a server filled with pugs that won based on night capping and came to the forums bragging about “best in Europe” as if they actually did something special other than just have a lot of players playing very actively.

You can talk about “morale” and “dedicated” all you want, but last I checked those 2 things provide your players with nothing interesting in combat.

End of the day, I boot this game to have fun, and playing against VS is not fun because there is very little challenge when everything runs away from the first sight of combat. And the very fact that doing this still works only goes to show that WvW is broken, not that VS is doing anything good.

Tl;dr… yawn.

Nice movie. Enjoyed Votf wipe, even though there was some AC help killing them. It showed there one trick pony drop everything tactic. Survive 3-5 seconds vs votf and then they will fall over. Crowd control frontline, roll out way and avoid main line. I miss fighting both. look forward to future battles hopefully.

Aww I dont find that fair. You stack defense, we stack offense, I think both are fair in their own right, as running about spamming shouts for defense is not a whole lot more complicated than what I do <3

In any case, nice video, and nice fights vs KAZ, look forward to more.

And I won’t discuss the door exploit much longer, I said everything I had to say, but we have several videos of small groups of VoTF (3-5 persons) killing doors faster than rams. We studied them and replicated the builds to confirm the exploit. We have a pretty good understanding of it now, the Grand Cross alliance knows about the details of the build and decided not to use it. Everything is reported to Anet, with accurate locations and times, hopefully the exploiters will be banned soon.

I implore you right now to make it public in front of everybody whom this thread concerns. Cause I know for a FACT that no such thing occurred, go ahead, link your youtube videos, until then I call BS.

I can assure you no one from my guild is going to be banned.

Until you have anything of proof in any way shape or form, I am going to take this as random BS. For all purposes I too have seen many exploiters from famous Grand Cross Guilds, but I too do not feel the need to show proof, I will let Anet deal with the issue but knowing Anet they will take no action.

Yea that would be me, and yes my engineer is on hold for now, I started off trying warrior in spvping after getting bored of engineer and I found it entertaining which led to the switch over in WvW.

As for this debate about damage being high. I think I can agree that damage is high when it lands, but I think that is done intentionally by Anet. At the moment, AoE has a 5 target cap, and if the damage is toned down, it would be somewhat difficult to kill large groups, even if they were all terrible, simply because they could then just tank all the damage and rez each other through it all. That would be an even more sad state for the game. This extends further into spvp where we have node bunker builds already capable of surviving 1v1s indefinitely and 1v2s for quite long. If we even further decreased damage then spvp would break and I think defensive builds in this game would just be too OP, as some are incredibly strong as they already are. So I am still personally of the opinion that damage as it is, is alright, with the exception with a few specs here and there.

Also how come Elona has no guilds, they may have made T1 but it does feel like a pug server tbh and I simply havent encountered an organized force from their side.

its the current structure that keeps me from spvp. straight up 5v5 or 8v8 or 20v20 is what I prefer.

there was a spectator system in gw1. where you could watch back ingame all different scales of pvp. Not sure if the smaller scaled pvp was more popular. Can some gw1 guru clarify?

I believe the game format for spvp is not the best one. But deathmatches have also rarely been the focus of anything worth spectating. MOBA games for example are not straight deathmatches.

Anyways, the point is what makes a good spectator game format is watching something exciting. And lets face it, there is nothing that exciting to watch about wvw. That is because all the intrinsic aspects of the game do actually go out the window once it becomes 20v20. Sure you can say that it takes organization, but all it takes is having a good leader and some basic understanding of your class.

There is no boon micro play, no intrinsic mind games (flanking the enemy is not a mind game) akin to burning out stability before a burst, no insane twitch play (watch jumper spvping in NA, the speed and precision with which he can use infiltrators arrow is incredibly impressive), no cooldown tracking, no respawn timer tracking, no stomp micro play etc. The point is there are no “big plays” or high level micro, and those are what people really watch esports for. Watching someone like froggen do that epic flash to barely land a kill in an MLG knockout match is something people like to watch. Watching everybody follow a guy with a target icon and just dump skills on that location is not really anything worthy of observer mode.

As for GW1, the observer mode was indeed very popular for 8v8. GW1 hosted a live world championship with a 50k cash prize in Leipzig during its prime, it surely was worth watching, sadly I cant say the same for anything of GW2. A lot of the GW1 vets moved on to play MLG level in other games such as MOBA ones, but the skillcap on GW2 is significantly lower than GW1 which is why spvp just isnt as competitive.

… And right there lies the main difference between you and Vizunah. They know how to unite their randoms and get the best out of them.

I think you missed the point while you were too busy trying to put in a self congratulating post. Its part of the game mechanics that bad players in small scale have an adverse effect on their own team. It has nothing to do with rallying randoms.

But thats alright, you guys rally the randoms, Ill just wipe all of them <3

Some epic GvG fights this week. How gw2 should be played, time for them to add GvG scenarios people would watch that more over 5v5 esport bs, which has already died a death since first month. Yet Anet still bashing there head on brickwall over it seems.

Ehh not sure you are really correct there. I think people would prefer to watch 5v5, there is a lot more skill demonstrated in those game formats, as someone who has played both spvp and wvw. WvW is interesting for those involved, and it can be fun to watch zerg busting, but I dont think it could ever be something competitive or worth observing. There is a reason why almost all spectated game modes in all of gaming are 5v5 to 8v8. Spvp does actually have strategy whereas WvW not so much.

VS and ER have external assistance ? No, they deserve their place in T1.

Arah path 4, the last straw

5 tank guardians… why does the boss need to be beatable with such a setup? This is the single dps race in the game, if you cant deal with the fact that you need to spec specifically for just one boss in the entire game, then tough luck.

GW1 was all about builds and required specs to complete instances and that game succeeded just fine. All other MMOs have enrage timer mechanics which force a minimum standard of DPS. This game gives you a single dps race and people cry.

If one afternoon was all it took to break your group, then I question this “skill” you speak of.

Auto Attack AFK Bosses

They made certain bosses be boring as all heck and have tons of Health.

People be actively looking to be able to AFK them.

They made dungeon mobs drop horrible loot, if they drop any loot at all, and have tons of Health.

People be actively looking for ways to skip past them.

Cause and effect people. Cause and effect. You blame the cause, not the effect.

Even if they were super fun and exciting, people would do everything they could to skip them, because people are inherently lazy.

Your outlook on gaming and general player perspective is fairly naive. No matter what the situation, if one can skip, one will skip. Unless you want anet handing out exotics from trash loot left right and center.

I beg to differ. I witnessed lots of battles, in which a group of smaller numbers won over an overwhelming number of enemies by using clever tactics.
And for the trolls: No, I do not mean us/my guild excusively. There were many instances in which enemy servers groups used skill to win/hold objectives against bigger numbers.

You misunderstand me. I do not refer to a battle near a supply camp or a keep siege. I refer to the victory of an entire server. An entire server did not win because on average all the players on their server were more skilled, they won because of coverage, and frankly it shouldnt matter what country that coverage comes from because the source of players is finite. If one server has all the other night cappers then should all the other servers simply quit because there are no euro nightcappers left to recruit?

Dungeon Patch Discussion 12/14

Honestly, in my opinion there need to me more hard dungeons. Or create a “hard mode” where the bosses have additional mechanics. Lets face it, almost all the bosses in the game are too easy.

Giganticus Lupicus is mildly interesting, but I have yet to wipe with any guildies (a guild of like 80 members) while doing this boss, and for several of us it was our first time trying the boss, and we completed it on that first try. The simin priestess fight was interesting, but after 20 minutes we got it down, and today we did it in our first try in about 8 minutes.

There are already paths and dungeons for those of who struggle. The dungeons all give exotics, the only difference is skins. If you simply cannot complete lupicus or arah, then I am sorry but you dont deserve the arah gear. Just because you bought the game, does not mean you are entitled to everything. Unlike other games, you do not get better stats with uber loot, if you want exotic gear, CoF p1/p2 are super easy to pug, so you can acquire your gear there.

If you want gear from Arah, then you have to earn it. And honestly, I want more dungeons like this. I want challenging content for those of us who enjoy skillful encounters, and I want skins that are unique to players who have the skill to tackle this content. I think that is fair to ask for.

Honestly after all the hype I read and heard about Arah p4 and the priestess fight, none of us were impressed it was fairly easy, and my group can beat this boss every time in under 10 minutes with no hiccups or “randomness” that people comment about. When we killed it and I said “good job we beat the hardest encounter in gw2” everybody just laughed on voice comms.

For those saying GW2 is casual and should be puggable and everything should be easy. If we got 2 dungeons where they are both easy, but one gives awesome looking gear but the other doesnt, then why would anybody not run the awesome looking gear dungeon? Such is the case if Anet were to dumb down arah. The beauty of gw2 is that all the gear is equal in stats, so they can in fact do cool things like making skins unique to those who tackle difficult content, cause the skilled players dont get an advantage over you, just a better skin.

If there was a international ladder, but this is not the case.
There is a US for NA players and EU for EU players, we must respect that for fair competition.

What fair competition? What is fair about one server having a night force while the other doesnt.

What does it matter if the night force of one server is EU while the night force of another server is NA, all that matters is that they are on at the same hours fighting over an objective no?

Or is it because some french players for unknown reasons are able to play at 4am etc that other servers must now force their population to wake up at obscure hours to compete.

You talk about “fairness” but you forget that this is WvW. Nothing about it was ever meant to be “fair”. There is nothing fair about one server having double the population of another server during a given hour, which is exactly what Vizunah has been doing since game launch.

So, no use talking about fairness in WvW, it doesnt exist. Nobody has ever really won anything because of skill, just numbers.

You can EASILY by pass DR if you know what you are doing, as in you can get 60 tokens per path per character from a dungeon if you know the system, those of you complaining just dont know whats going on, and no I dont feel like saying it since people are way to willing to jump the gun without taking the time out to figure something out.

Also, other games with dungeons had lock out timers that lasted hours, I think DR on dungeons is fine, in fact Anet has done an excellent job with the dungeon system in this game, considering as a player who hates pve, I am still doing dungeons 4 months post release, Tera/Aion/Swtor/Warhammers all had lockouts which prevented me from doing anything meaningful or “quick”.

It requires coordination, it isnt something I would do with pugs, unless they were willing to come onto voice chat. I did it with 4 guildies today 2 of which had never been into arah before, and none of us had ever even entered p4 before.

For the priestess we just had 1 person agro the south 3 sparks and 1 person agro the north 2 sparks, while the other 3 players hugged the wall and waited. The 2 players with spark aggro just placed everything in quickly. Our ele also noticed that you can watch the buffs to see when somebody will be petrified and so time the tear.

We didnt have any timewarp or quickness, we were 3 guardians, warrior and ele. We were however all dps specced with very good specs and everybody knew how to do their role.

We didnt have to glitch a single thing or time anything, we just triggered and took it to 50%. Did the sparks, took it to 15%. Did the sparks again, it unstealthed at about 35% and we just finished it off with normal dps. We did however take about 15-20 mins to figure out the mechanics, but once we understood we just reset the fight and did it pretty easily.

I would say this boss is tuned for organized groups/guilds. The kind of people who would be willing to enter a raid in a different game and do it comfortably. Its interesting and I like that, personally I think more fights in the game should be like this, but I can appreciate that this makes it impossible to pug which prevents farming.

Honestly if you want to farm just do p2/p3, p4 is nicely tailored for coordinated groups, and we didnt need to glitch anything or “get lucky”. Our 2 guardians can place the sparks in under 10 seconds with a very high consistency, there was nothing random about what they did or the agro of the sparks.

(I did this about 3h ago, so I didnt abuse anything that has been patched, we simply did the mechanics as Anet intended)

Yes i know they will get their own level chest but the mobs will be the same for everyone , that means mobs drops too ! And want to know a secret ? 10 daily and 20 daily are a pain with the noobs but i enjoy my 30+ , so much smoother no more noobs , all know what to do ! Thats why fractals should have strict levels not some leeching exploit !

Erm? How did you conclude that mob drops will be the same for everybody? As far as I am aware Anet has made it fairly clear that the loot tables will be restricted to the level of the individual looting the corpse. So a fractal 4 has a low chance of an exotic from a mob while the fractal 30 guy has a higher chance.

To me this just seems like you dont really understand the system or Anets post, but you are jumping the gun to complain about something.

How about you just wait until it is released as you seem very confused.

And even if what you say is true, it would be stupid to fracture the gaming community into mini levels, just so that a small minority of individuals at the higher bracket dont have to endure any hassle while forming a group. You are just sounding incredibly selfish with your post.

Worst update for fractals ever ! After 30 lets say fractals are kinda elitist , only for the experienced players and the loot too ! ANET wake up , we dont want to drag noob lvl 1 at fractals or ask like cops their fractal level and their gear , we dont want to make level 40 daily with players that dont have ressurection orbs or skills to take it to that level ! Return the way it was until you will regret it ! So now tbh why a lvl 1-20 pug gets my 30-40 drop from the fractals and causing pain with him to finish it ? I dont get it , simply i can’t , we worked hours and hours for some pugs to get SAME loot as we … kinda unfair (higher fractal lvl is better loot you get right ? ) ! You screw this up big time , dont even want to touch the game for next few days ! X-mas to you all , be safe !
And 1 more thing , even if the player has the agony ressist + the gear it takes , he will not have the SKILL to finish a 20-40 lvls higher fractal than he is , Anet encouraging leeching ? Was thinking that is a bannable thing !
I think I’m talkin in the name of most high level fractal players as they seen with their own eyes how hard a daily at 10 and 20 lvl is compared to 30 and 40 !

Ehhh, you may want to reread the post. The level one players leeching into a level 40 run will get level 1 drops in the level 40 instance. Stop crying doom and gloom, the system is actually perfect. It is only susceptible to trolls who simply wish to play at a higher fractal level for absolutely no reason whatsoever, as they gain nothing more by playing at a level higher than the one they are already at.

map switching and inter maps communications for nightcrew is something you learn in EU tier 2 when your server is not carried by an NA guild. you just skipped that part.

I want to point out that there is nothing “good” about running with a zerg and spamming AoE to tag kills. Title is pointless anyway.

Hah if you think all it takes to have 100k kills is running around with a zerg and spamming aoe skills then good for you.

Question? How do you then kill the opposing zerg in order to accumulate said kills? Hmm I wonder… the answer may lie somewhere in “being good” though you may ponder over it as you please.

Anyways I have read this argument before, its what the spvpers say about spvpers having a high glory rank, yet I think 9/10 times the dude with the higher glory rank wins. Maybe it has something to do with more experience which grows into skill, who knows.

So 1 year for a title for the good players, I think thats fair. GW1 was the same thing, in fact 7 years later and only 5 players in the entire world maxed out a pvp title, so QQ moar.

Heh, OP has a point somewhat. I can relate because I remember VoTF went to IoJ to play on an NA server, and at the time from when we arrived, to when we left, we were the only EU guild on the server. This meant that we had to pretty much force every guildie to play for 8h every single day during EU pt to compete with the other t1 or t2 NA servers. The result of this was total burnout and we were exhausted, our leader didnt have the time to commit those kind of hours, and nor did I, so we moved back to EU.

Now we simply play a few hours every day or every other day depending on when we feel like doing what, and the game is a lot more enjoyable. In fact when taking this approach our activity sky rocketed back again and the guild is incredibly active.

So I can understand the premise of an underlying obligation to fill a void that server needs you to fill. And I can also appreciate the burnout that comes with providing such a surface.

The problem is that the only solution, is to simply stop caring. Its not feasible to treat this as “war” and play for “Score”. These things are meaningless, perhaps on launch it worked when all the servers had super long ques, but its not feasible to be 1 guild covering hours at a time against your will.

In any case, Anet will not be merging servers, that much is clear. But it may be possible for us WvWers to take an initiative to consolidate on a few servers in 1 continent. You say you are willing to sacrifice latency for a good play experience, and you say that you speak for the community? Prove it. Transfer a bulk of guilds from NA to EU and disperse amongst some servers and create yourself the very thing you are asking Arenanet to create.

You have the option to do it if you want. At this point its “what about my community” but there wont be much of a community if you quit anyways will there?

Just my 2 cents anyways, as someone who was in the position of the OP, and managed to sort it out and is now enjoying the game a ton.

Meanwhile to avoid the 3×290 damage the Grenade Engineer did all you have to do is not stand still.

Good thing they nerfed grenades, you could be killed in 25 seconds if you were AFK !!

Huh? my engineer dealt about 4k+ dps aoe with the grenade auto attack. With the recent changes that just passed if it wasnt nerfed I could deal closer to 6k dps, mind you I can still deal 3k dps with grenade so it aint terrible.

Im sorry what? Stop crying, we arent useless, if you cant figure out new specs for damage engineers then you probably arent a good engineer anyways, the obvious trait setups for damage may not work but you can easily restore the spec to its previous damage as well as boosting it above the original damage. You simply have to think a bit, perhaps in a bit I will make a video of what I mean.

In any case, I can easily make grenades still work.

I will say though, if they could let us have stats while equipping a kit it would be nice, I wouldnt mind +50 to every stat while in a kit to compensate for the stat loss from weapons, as that is the only thing I feel lacking atm. If we got that I would say Engineers are in an alright place.

Seeing as most of you people think it’s normal to kill 10+ very bad players as a skilled player, let me ask you this.
Why can’t my class do it?
I’m a warrior and I’ve gone up against very, very bad players before but I don’t have the heals or boons to outlast that many players.
Why is it okay to for a d/d ele to be able to do this, but not other classes?

Heh wut? I can assure you he did not invent the d/d build. D/D was used before the game even launched.

Its fine to be a fanboy, but lets not make absurd claims.

But yea to the people in this thread, quit complaining, if you are a good player you will be able to 1v10 bad players on any class, if you arent a good player then you wont, tough luck.

This is getting ridiculous now, its not just legacy of foefire, every map for us in paid tournaments is getting a whole 3s server freeze, as in every single member in our party gets the lag at the same time and it just freezes up. And this happens every 2 minutes or so during the match, I dont even feel like playing anymore cause its gotten out of hand.

Thieves exist to kill bunkers anyways, if we didnt have classes capable of bursting high numbers then bunkers would be immortal in tpvp and nodes would never flip in competitive play. It is already a fine line with some top teams running 3 guardians.

My only gripe is that the thief can execute the combo so easily. I rather the combo be possible but take more skill to produce so not everybody can do it but only the handful of really good players. I do agree that for hot join it kind of breaks the game because anybody can run around and deal massive damage but the players against them cant counter it due to inexperience (mind you I am saying the thief is also inexperienced, as is the average player in hot join, but the combo can be executed even by an inexperienced player).

Anet should seek to make the combo harder to execute in some way, but retain the damage output.

I dont think there is less “skill”. I mean come on, watching timers isnt exactly difficult anyways, if you had the luxury to decide when to kill them, you likely had the luxury to glance at the timer for a second anyways.

I am concerned with the change of pace, 20 seconds is a long time and it makes the game feel slow/slugish. It isnt fun for the person dead. Not to mention the snowballing that takes place as mentioned, there is already a flaw in linear scoring and comebacks, but this just makes attaining a comeback even more of an uphill battle after the first team fight. Not sure I like this, however I can see the change functioning on a 10s respawn timer just fine.

Well when it comes to “skilled” pvp I think GW1 was the holy grail of MMO pvp. That ladder had 10,000+ guilds competing in GvG actively in its first 2 years, and had a live world championship before esports itself was a thing. Its a bit ironic since its the same devs working on this game and yet the prequel did so many things better. But thats another story.

In the end, this game wont offer 12 man scenarios like WAR did because this just isnt WAR. I mean WAR wasnt that great, if I look back to my play time on my DoK I would just spam that single party heal (khaines embrace I think it was) and that would be enough to compete with the best premades on karak norn, similarly even my white lion on karag azgal was not so challenging, perhaps the highest level of skill on a white lion was knowing when to pounce out of danger, but even that is easy to learn. I mean sure scenarios were “fun” but they werent “competitive”. Anet wants competitive and 12 man matches dont work with the current class balance (no guard or healers). Now whether they succeeded with their goal of 5 man competitive pvp, thats another discussion entirely, I am merely telling you why the idea of scenarios wont work for GW2 as that is what this thread is about.

It was fun in WAR but different games, different mechanics. GW1 GvG was very fun, but I am not sure it could work here so I dont ask for it.

The more people you add to a map the more casual it becomes. In terms of GW2 if you want casual pvp then WvW is what the game offers in that respect. The premise of 5 players in spvp is possibly the only saving grace of the format, as the less the number of players, the more individual skill matters and more than 5 players causes difficulty when forming a group and waiting on people.

Warhammers scenarios were very very casual, sure they were fun but I dont know if I would refer to them as actual “pvp” with the intent of promoting and pushing skill boundaries. Then again GW2 is struggling a bit in that regard to, but still fares better than warhammer when providing challenging pvp.

Dev - Can I Transmute a Legendary Weapon?

I made The Predator not too long ago but I want crit damage/precision on it instead of toughness/vitality. Can I transmute this weapon without loosing anything? I heard some say the weapon simply becomes an exotic, is this true and if so, is it something that Anet is looking in to?

If I transmute it now and it simply becomes an exotic text, will my weapon be updated in the future when that is fixed or will it forever remain an exotic?

I’d just like to point out that the only time CD has had queues (Friday night & some of Saturday), we were winning and IoJ was in last place.

Make of that what you will.

Oh and forget the 2v1 nonsense. Nobody ever gets 2v1d. Server alliances just can’t work. Too many randoms and tempting targets. Sometimes it may look like that, but believe me there is no organization behind it.

And now we are winning as we won last time, quite overwhelmingly as well, make of that what you will.

As for 2v1s, I dont know why you assume 2v1s require communication between servers, that a gross fallacy that players state.

2v1s definitely occur and they establish on the grounds of mutual benefit to the 2 servers involved. It arises as a result of the obvious thing to do when aiming to reach first place, not because the 2 servers sat down and had a meeting together but rather because they can look at the bigger picture from a tactical stand point.

Believe me there is plenty organization, and if your server doesnt think about how to make one enemy fight the other enemy and base its tactics around that then your loss and you are missing out on an entire element of WvW and what 3 way combat stands for.
