Honestly do you guys think they are going to do this again after all the hassle you gave him for one semantic error? He obviously was speaking strategically not tactically class wise.
We need developers to play the game more and give more attention to WvW, but when you guys are this rude and disrespectful when he is obviously trying to build interest it gives them no motivation to do it again.
You could probably consider this the first and last stream.
Next time, you should encourage more gameplay and allow them to learn with us rather than be kittens and shut them down just because of a minor detail error.

Because of the constant 2v1. I was completely fine with it when we were on top and its completely fine to do it to make things even. Now SOR has taken about being a bunch of kittens. Might as well rename Sanctum of Rall to Blackgate 2.
Cut Killtrox some slack. Yes, he made a mistake trolling around in the T1 thread as a rep from a newly transferred guild. That said, everyone knows that the only thing more organized than TW’s map zerg is the guild’s forum warring. I’ve never come across a more bitter group of trolls. If you disagree, just look at how his original post (which targeted both JQ and SoR as entire servers) was somehow interpreted as a personal attack on TW.
Besides, anything that makes SoR’s “flagship” guild focus on a week-long personal vendetta instead of ppt is fine with me.
The interesting thing is, when they were in EB, they always had SM and either JQ’s keep or SM and all of BG’s towers.
It’s probably better for the other servers that they don’t go in EB, they get more points out of EB than when they go into home BL and hold the whole thing or an enemy BL where they hold their corner and garrison. One thing TW is, is consistent. They lock down the BL they are in like no other.
You missed your window, slow isn’t the word. Try non-existent, whoever was leading your server messed up the strategy to get you guys through T2 to T1.
Though he/she/they might know that now which is why they are trying to recruit out of JQ to try and accelerate that server’s demise. A large population shift from JQ to DB would create enough fall from JQ to create a gain for DB.
In the end, I still hold it’s lame to try and destroy a server like that because your server leadership didn’t have the forsight or enough knowledge about how the game works to get you guys through T2 legitimately.
Gratz to BG people you roxx keep it on long run ! And SoR fight to get rank 2 in T1 you have the chance to beat JQ now so get them before DB push to T1.

Maybe, a few but please do not say all. Love how people make judgements on server they have never even met in battle. Wait a month and the dragons might be in T1… There is no rush for us as you can see by our slow progression up the tiers… We are nothing like a bandwagon, yet.
The slow progression you speak of is due to glicko not by choice just saying lol. And multiple guilds coming to JQ LA to recruit is low you seem respectable I would talk to them about it personally as it reflects badly on the server as a whole.
Wow … Go look at millennium again under Dragonbrand … LOL. We sat in most tier we went through for more than one week often times not even winning that tier… So this due to glicko thing is just laughable..
You do know how GLICKO works right? Because of how you guys are winning you are going to be required to win by more every week to maintain your rating gains otherwise starting next week you will gain around 15-20 then after that you will LOSE rating for not increasing how much you win by. To be honest, if DB wanted to get into T1 faster you messed up. You should have won the first week, taken your 70, won the 2nd week taken you 50, then LOST this week to lose around 30, then won next week to win back 70 for a net gain of 40 instead of 30, then won the week after for another gain of 40. Which would have brought you to 80, and then you grind out the last 30 ELO. As things stand now, you will hit glass ceiling next week and then you will be in T2 for a long time now unless one of the T1 servers implodes(if you want to history see BG v SoR v IOJ, where BG sat in T2 for 11 weeks until SBI imploded).
And it’s obvious if your server is recruiting from JQ’s LA, you are trying to accelerate that servers downfall, which is pretty low, you guys should try to win on your own not create dissension within an existing server for your own gains.
While I wasn’t there, someone on JQ has been using the spawn/mountain exploit to hop directly into inner Lord’s room area.
If you play on JQ and you see a portal going there, please don’t take it and report it to their guild master and Anet, they have been doing it all day.

I can’t look into something that I have no proof of. I’m not going to go through an exploit path to find an exploiter. If you have had it happening so much you should have some proof of it by now. I really don’t see the point in continuing this I’ve asked my officers to look into it but i’m not going to tell them to exploit to catch an exploiter.
The only way to catch that exploit is to go through it as you know and are acknowledging. Which is why it’s difficult for us to get it. Which is why we are asking for your help.
From your post, it seems like you just don’t care.
Even if you don’t go through it, you can tell your guild to stop taking the portals from the same mesmer over and over especially if you haven’t legitimately seen how he got in.

Hard to figure out who it is without at least a screen shot. I just got pm’d accusing me of being in a guild of hackers and exploiters but said user wouldn’t provide a screen shot. Hopefully you can provide me with a screen shot to go off of otherwise I can’t do much.
He is exploiting in from the spawn point to hills, he’s done it about 4 times now. We’ll try and get you a screenshot, but looking into it on your end as well would be a great start.

“SoR will still be out in force with what we have. While it seems JQ is taking a break/quitting/bored whatever, and we do not have anywhere close to the coverage of either BG or JQ, we’ll still give it the best fight we can.
We have realistic expectations in the ppt department, but be sure that when we are out fighting, we aren’t going to make it easy for you guys.
Regardless of what happens to JQ, here’s to hoping we have an everlasting competitive T1 for those that are still interested in the game.
The ones who left are the true competitors it seems like. Leaving a #1 server to go down the ranks is encouraging to see. Not many have the balls to do it.

In the grand scheme of things, it probably needed to be done for the sake of the tier.
JQ is super stacked atm, I think if we can get the 3 servers within 20k of each other and each has a chance for 1st without overtime play, would be a lot more fun.
I think we can all agree, competition is good, so props for EMP for chasing it.
I hate getting involved in another tier’s matchups, but I can’t help but remember it wasn’t even 3 months ago when TC gave SoR so much heat and hate for recruiting and then complaining how they ruined the matchup and how SoR was the bad guy.
The amusing thing is if you ask any of the asian guys even outnumbered and outmanned, how happy they are on SoR.
They will tell you they’ve never been happier on any server, and that’s going against the super zergs of the opposition day in and day out and not winning the tier.
LoL was fun on SoRBL last night fighting TW. I don’t know if they realized how many naked peeps they were fighting.
I think there were 8 or 9 commander tags at one point. More tags than armor or sense.
TW must’ve figured out they weren’t getting any WXP after a while.
They were farming you at the spawn point with ballistas and trebs, as much fun as you were having, I’m sure they were just as happy to let you guys feed their bags.
Nice video, not many can say they beat FOO. FOO is an amazing competitor and props to them for having the courage and challenging some of SoR’s best to open field fights. While that day went to SoR, I’m sure Waha will change up strats and bring it harder the next GvG.
Actually if you are an old school daoc’er, which from your posts it seems like you aren’t. You’d know Covenn is trying to get your NA riled up to give him some competition. I don’t think he cares what happens when he’s not on, but I’m pretty certain he’s said it a few posts back that he’s tired of straight farming JQ NA prime.
If you have a positive attitude, you work well with others, and you enjoy a challenge and winning isn’t the only thing important to you, then you should come check out Sanctum of Rall.

I think it’s fair to say TW has EMP’s number, but it’s definitely a good aspiration to try to beat the best to be the best, so for that I think people should give Rawnoodles credit.

Servers move up and down through Tiers 1-3 like a toilet seat. Something around 1/3 of all WVW players have a reasonable expectation that over a not so extended period of time their server can climb to the top of the rankings.
Before paid transfers , your toilet seat reference was accurate. If you look at last 4 weeks including this week, this is no longer true. I would say atleast for the next year or so , do not expect drastic population shifts. However, like DAoC, no server is immune to fluctuations over a 7 year period.
I disagree, just look at SoS and CD. Both imploded AFTER free transfers.
BG got built from SoS and TC got built from CD.
Problem is the tiered system is inherently flawed because there is nothing in place to increase the competitiveness of ALL the servers, just the ones with the highest population throughout the day.
Oceanic/SEA and EU players on NA servers fully balanced on all servers would = a bit over 4% per NA server.
So let’s say we set the total allowable non-NA population on each NA server per each region at say 12.5%. Should produce a reasonable critical mass.
If the whole non-NA population heads for the top servers that spreads them over 8 servers.
Assume a reasonable balance or shifting balance of NA players on NA servers, you have no more stacked servers and you have at a minimum 5-6 competitive servers and maybe the full 8.

While before I figured you were shooting blanks, if they had something in place to make more than 3 servers competitive(whatever the system), it may have worked.
People take things way out of context. You do realize not everyone can be “elite” right?
There are some very good guilds on JQ and BG and SoR. But I’d say there is only maybe a handful(if that) on each of those servers that would fall into being considered the cream of the crop.
For JQ, the best of the best is FOO without question, but there are other good guilds on JQ also.
For BG, the best of the best is HB without question, but there are other good guilds on BG also.
FOO is really the only skilled guild on JQ. Not saying there aren’t other “good guilds” out there full of average to better than average players but FOO is more on the level of “elite” and really the only real competition out there from JQ server for some of the heavier WvW guilds on SoR.
When FEAR and TW setup the GvG against FOO on Sunday, Indo and Irmo pretty much acknowledged that FOO is the best and only thing that JQ has to offer as far as competition goes. And even then overall, they went 9 and 3 against them. Once Indo logged on, they actually went straight 8 and 0. Waha is a pretty cool guy apparently, even while fighting them, people were talking to him in tells and talking about him in map chat. I think it’s fair to say everyone respects Waha a lot on SoR.
