There is no such thing as “unattackable AC” when you have Staff eles with Meteor Shower.
For those that roam on Condi Necro, what build? I have failed repeatedly to make a solid roaming build for my Necro.
I like either 6/6/0/0/2 with signets or 0/6/2/0/6 with spectral skills… Both go with Scepter+Dagger/Staff.
Why don’t you ask them?

I belive the complaint is about how the AoEs from below can cover the whole wall, making people on ground safer than people on top of it which make no sense.

For all of you shouting “Perplexity! Condi Spam!”… I run no condition builds for roaming, and yes I win more often than not.
So whether condi is meta or not… depends entirely on you.
And care to share what you roam with then? I’m sure it might be d/d elementalist or other class that can clear a lot of conditions really fast.
Scouting is boring. Scouting is unrewarding. It has to be, otherwise we’ll just have AFKers. Apart from the time I had a tea party with all my golems (supplies were nearly full and weren’t being used, what choice did I have?); I have loathed scout duty as I get no fun or rewards, but I allow other players to get even more. An act of kindness and selflessness? No. As usual, I’m just being told that I get the kitten job.
You’re doing that because YOU WANT to do that… If you don’t like it, there is absolutely NO REASON for you to do it. It’s a GAME, it’s meant to be FUN, then why in the world would you do somenthing that you find to be BORING?
If fighting while outnumbered is your thing you should consider Eredon Terrace… PST is our weakest timeslot and we need to strenghten it up in order to be able to be competitive at T6.

Necro is just an unacceptable answer. Worst roaming class bar none.
It’s the best counter to the condition meta I’ve found since conditions for necro is merely ammunition.
+1 for the EotM tourney idea. Love that map, disappointed that it is just for k-trains.
The map would need balancing first. Red has a big disadvantage.
Depend on how you treat it… The biggest problem for red is their keep. But Badlands can bum-rush any keep right at start and take it unless the oposing team is on the keep waiting for it (A zerg of devourers melt any gate/wall in seconds), and they will have a keep at the expense of their own… Then they can even camp the enemy keep while taking back theirs (since red keep is kitten to defend) giving them a huge advantage on ppt.

Now can someone confirm the speed boost is working in WvW? I thought speed boosts were specifically stated as to not work in WvW or PvP.

And idk wtf are these “level rewards”… If it’s the wxp ranks, I also never received one from it. If it’s the new progression kitten Anet added, I haven’t leveled a character in months (as I have 8 80’s already) so I know nothing about it..
The Tp has always been full of oils foods and boosters ,this complaint is a total fabrication or ignorance.
The ones you buy with in-game currency don’t really matter as everyone can make them if they want. People are complaining because these boosters come from the gem store (which technically is their real money shop)… If you can’t tell the difference, I wonder who is the ignorant here…
Well, if you stop to think WvW is pay to win… You pay to transfer to the most populated server and win… Easy…
In the end – fun factor is the ONLY thing that really matters in a game.

No! Lowlands is the worst keep to defend with few people… It’s way too big and super siege intensive.
I’d rather have Red for Valley, Blue for Lowlands and Green for Overlook.
Well, considering that candy corn will problably skyrocket once halloween is over maybe this won’t be a problem at all… I’d rather sell my candy corn than use to get some meager boosts.
takes a pretty significant investment to rack up huge durations on anything besides wxp boost

How much is significant? I have like 80 stacks of candy corn that i didn’t turned in cobs.
WvW isn’t considerated competitive pvp… You can go in with the boosters and not lose them.
The problem here isn’t the boosters themselves (if a idiot someone want to burn his money for a 1 hour buff, please be my guest) but how you can get hours and hours of these buffs now at the expense of only 300 gems and a few candy corn.
Considering that most boosters cost 150 gems for 1 hour, this item is also a shoot on the foot by Anet… But that’s not the issue here.

They do PPT, they just don’t want to admit… Touching these rams is tempting…
This would only work if it activate upon meeting some threshold (like 1st is 50k ahead of 2nd and 3rd is 50k behind of 2nd). Otherwise it would encourage the strongest server to tank to be 3rd all week while artifically keeping the score close and them make a push on the last day to secure the win.

dude… Omegas can’t shoot from underwater… At best you meant alphas, because they can actually punch the gate, but omegas can’t do anything while swimming.

Omega Golem Auto Attacks are an arc projetible that have 1500 range and deal splash damage which increase the range a bit. I don’t get the exact picture of where you placed your first AC, but I’m sure i can hit the one near mortar with a omega golem.

Ogrewatch can treb the inner of red keep, and Ogrewatch can be defended at nearly every angle from red keep trebs. These are two properties only inner towers share. Note that Anzalias and Mendon’s share neither of these properties.
Name aside, the ease with which OW upgrades and the ease with which it’s defended by mortars/trebs from red keep means we should treat it as an inner tower. Yes, it’s unfortunate that it can be treb’d from SM, but that shouldn’t disqualify it from being an inner tower.
We can go all day long on why Ogrewatch is or isn’t an outer/inner tower… Simply because it has the properties of both and they do not deny each other.
However I would like to point out that Ogrewatch upgrade just as easy as Quentin Lake and Wildcreek Run which are outer towers. Inner towers tend to upgrade SLOWER than outer towers as you always control your keep (or at least you should) but not always control SMC, making the supply routes to outer towers faster than the ones for inner towers.

It’s true that the distance between pangloss and the keep is the smaller of any other camp/keep, which lead to pangloss suppling Overlook faster. However it’s nearly impossible for the overlook to receive supplies from Speldan which is the longest of all supply routes.
Lowlands and Valley upgrade faster then Overlook if all the 3 teams are keep both of their supply routes.
Overlook will upgrade faster than Valley and Lowlands if they are keeping Pangloss and the other two keeps are maintaining only one of the their camps (regardless of which).
Overlook will upgrade much slower then Lowlands and Valley if they only keep speldan, regardless of which camp the other two keep are maintaining (even if only one).
So i guess most of us kinda have an agreement that the change is good but removing the bridge is a must.
Ogrewatch isn’t a inner tower as it can be trebbed from SMC (only outer towers can be trebbed from SMC).
Also Mendon is the only inner tower that cannot be trebbed from your keep.
And if you still want to argue about who is inner and who is outer tower… The PoI’s in inner towers are called [Name Tower] (like Mendon Tower) and the ones on outer towers are called [Name Post] (like Ogrewatch Post). So even Anet agrees that Mendon is the same as Veloka and Ogrewatch is the same as Anzalias.

Well, even on soccer you get penalities that put players from your team out of the field… I guess most games have this kind of stuff. But none of them start with already uneven teams.

Eredon Terrace is currently on rise… With the new transfers for OCX and EU, our only lacking timeslot is PST. So if you are a west coast player, you’ll problably find yourself dealing with larger forces with small numbers (if that’s your thing).
That doesn’t mean that if your are from east coast it wouldn’t be good to join us, but we have a sizeable force on EST compared to our other timezones (and even to the other T7-T8 servers).
Removal of white swords isn’t an issue for any Tier. Even in the lower tiers if you see that something is contested, how often is anyone actually able to make it to the node before it flips? The color still changes so you know it isn’t under your control and that you need to reclaim it. That’s the important part. If the colors were removed and no one had a clue which team owned what then we might have a small problem.
The only objectives I’m not able to reach in time after I see white swords are the southern towers of home borderland (if there is no WP) and camps (which sometimes flip without swords)… And by reach it in time, I mean have enough time to toss a disabler and use the siege inside the tower to protect it.
Of course, if it isn’t a sieged objective I’m sure not going to run like crazy to go try defend it. Without white swords, I might just not try defend anything at all…

When you say your going to test adding PPK, does that mean along side PPT? Or replacing PPT for a limited time?Because if the reason for this test is because of how PPT currently is, wouldn’t it be best to test this new scenario without PPT and just PPK or something similar to give true results?
They never said they will/want to remove ppt, just that they want to add ppk. It wouldn’t make sense to test ppk without the ppt if they do not intent to remove it.
Depending of how far of zerging you want to get, the farther away you want to be from top tiers… However the farther away you go from the top tiers, less action you will find on off-hours.
Is that what you want from Guild Wars 2? World of Warcraft raid guild mentality where you’re expected to be there on raid schedule or get kicked?
The Hardcore wannabe WvW guilds are already like this… Don’t show up on raiding time with the specific build and profession and you get the boot.

To the people suggesting a tunnel under the tower: Splash damage from catas can damage the walls from below. So, unless it would be impossible to build siege on the tunnel, it’s worse than having the original gap.

YB got a number of xfers during and after seasons – well a lot for us anyway. At times, I think we outnumber SOS / fa.
