A Random fact since I’m bored: Did you guys saw that a T1 server have basically the same rating as the whole T8? Rating keep being stolen with every server that goes up…

They did? I don’t remember any… They backed on the only one I knew (and problably would cause a real mess anyway).

NO ONE know if SF is good or bad, because SF never faced a real fight… SF might be even bigger than T7… Maybe than T6… Who knows? SF never left to pit themselves against a real opposition…

I don’t think everyone will be a commander in 6 months from now because:

1. Not everyone wants to be a commander. People differ in personality. Some like to lead, some like to follow. Also, some others love to do their own thing in their small groups.
2. Some people prefer to buy other stuffs with their 100 golds instead of wasting it on a commander icon.
3. There are some people unable to get 100 golds saved after 6 months because they have spending habit.

This thread is already 6months old… Thus, its proved that not everyone is a commander after that time as OP said.

like i said. either we spend all our limited manpower to try to defend 1-2 things, and eventually lose them anyway due to attrition, and fall into last place because 1-2 things in our name does not make big points… OR we run thru at breakneck speed and cap everything while SF/FC looks the other way and make big points for a few hours.

option #2 has kept us in 2nd place for a few weeks running now… if we had more folks we might actually be dangerous. XD

The only thing that really keep ET in second is the Night Crew… Capping a tower to lose it 5 mins later during NA prime generate no points (as SF will have it for the rest of the tally).

EBay just dropped a Tier and Borlis Pass went up in that same tier… Glicko punish the server that dropped unless it roflstomp (You can even win by a large margin and still lose rating). Also Glicko give a handcap to the new server and unless it get roflstomped, it will most likely gain rating.

T8 thread isn’t as lively as it used to be on T2 BG/SoR/Someone… I got a fair share from there, but it’s been long since i’ve last received a BoI.

Yes the only reason BG moved to t1 was the collapse of SBI.
So it was a curbstomp only because of the end score!?!?!?!

The discussion on this thread is about ratings gain and server movement. Talking about how your coverage was better in the NA prime than ours doesn’t change the fact that SoR lost and that BG barely got any rating.

But of course, i do not hope that a SoR forum troll (Because warriors would most likely come with a more solid argumentation) to understand.

Mend does from time to time, or at least they did when I was there…..Durios more so than QL, but I think that Lang provides the best advantage due to the terrain/setup.

I was mainly just talking about how you guys come out of the woodwork with a sizable zerg almost out of no where and then randomly disappear leaving us to cap it back with nearly no defense. Just odd that so many leave the map at once, wasn’t sure if something is going on in the ET BL that is drawing them away or what.

I remember defending QL a few times… Never been at Durios to defend tho. Still i don’t think it’s worthwhile (We can hold the back towers since SMC cannot attack us, but it’s innevitable to lose QL and Durios).

About the zerg despawn: Yeah, that’s how it’s happening… Rush in, take what you can, and leave before SF show up to take everything and we have to fight. A shame really, since the point of the game is holding the bases as long as you can.

I think they either just want the karma train or they want to keep us occupied for a short period of time so we stay off their BL. Just speculating really.

Wouldn’t work as SF can cover 2 maps at same time… Karma train is the answer.

my guild has to tell people that the jump puzzle in EB is broken on reset nights. never underestimate the stupidity nor the intelligence of the masses.

People who care about the Jump puzzle aren’t WvW players… They are most likely PVe’rs that need the badges for the legendary… And seeing how you call’em “stupid” you problably one of those guys from “Harcore PvP guilds” who have no respect for the others…

curbstomped t2 eh? I assume ur talking about when BG beat SoR for 8 weeks straight…….sry but no curbstomp there! BG lost NA primetime 90% of the time to SoR at the time. The only way they won was to pvd with their EU/Oceanic crew.
BG pushed when the other server had low numbers…….SoR won NA primetime when there was HEAVY resistance.

I’m talking about scores… I don’t think I need to link’em for you… If they were via PvDoor or not, glicko doesn’t take it on account.

Six months later I still hardly see more than 2 blue doritos in the same map.

Unfortenely those chests do exist… For the grub, the arboreal spirit and whateverbossexistongreenarea… Would be good to have’em moved to the objectives tho, people don’t usually bother with the 3 chests from EB.

We on Henge of Denravi know your pain… We are greatly outnumbered 90% of the time. Just about 30 mins ago was 4 of us in EB trying to defend versus about 30+ Gates of Madness. Zerg Wars is not fun. Oh and we didn’t even get the Outmanned Buff, stupid excuse for a “Buff” anyways. I’m posting a video of it.

Yeah what is the deal with that…Sometimes in EB we are just sitting around finishing dailys, and we notice or get a call that ET is here. And like a blitz before we can even scramble the troops out of LA or some other BL, ET has capped their 1/3 of EB. Then usually nothing….I mean you may push on ogres or veloka…then silence.

We go to Durios, throw down 3 rams, gotta be quick they will be here soon…Nothing

Bravost…nothing…same at QL. I mean it’s like you guys just run in with 35 peeps and zerg your third and then bail. Every great once in a while Mend and/or TFoR/TAC will siege up Lang (which we love), but most times its like “hey we got our third, AC anyone?”. 15 minutes later we are back to all green.

I don’t think someone would bother siege up QL and Durios since both can be trebbed from inside the safety of SMC. But ya, it’s been a pain in EB these days… The small groups are scared of trying take the towers, so things only turn blue when a train show up. SF even fortified Langor and QL last time I saw (due the lack of action on that side of the map)…

SF is really stubborn… No matter how much we push, they just keep comming back… That fight at ET Bay was tiresome.

Well, even tho i’m not against the downed state, i really think rallying like 20 people from the same dead guy is a little too much…

NSP isn’t helping T8… Is Anvil Rock behind this?!

I beleve our BL is untouched because we have priority on our BL. Being a commander in FC if i ask for help in our BL other commanders and there followers WP in from other BL/EB. ( just yesterday i asked for backup at our BL as in my post above and 3 commanders turned up saying “nugget, i got 20 ppl where do you need us?”). On the other hand yesterday ET had 30+ ppl in our BL while ETBL was turning green. if they had been in their BL it may have stayed blue.

I’ve tried to make ET play defense… I’ve failed miserably…

Well, you use the party system (that arrow in the left side). If you have a person on target, you can invite.

I’m sure the only people who agree with this are lame thieves that want to win 5v1…

On a side note, it seems Eredon Terrace has been a thorn in SF’s side. They seem to be all about the ET borderlands this week and almost ignoring FC.

Well, even tho i don’t like the 2v1 idea (which i don’t really belive to be the case here), SF lost rating due ET being able to lower the gap between SF and ET. So, the best way to SF regain rating is to make that gap bigger, thus preventing ET from gaining more points… Of course, if SF focus too much on ET and forget FC, they will lose rating due the fact that FC too will narrow their gap between SF and FC.,

The only hope we have is a miracle happening in one of the higher tiers that pushes someone else down from T7 into T8. Or ArenaNet changing how the rating system works so we don’t have to roflstomp our opposing servers for MONTHS for a shot at the next tier. The “miracle” might be IoJ… They just dropped a tier and are losing again.

• At same time, SoR will convince Kaineng that together they can dethrone JQ.
• While JQ and Kaineng battle against each other, SoR backstab JQ and became the new #1.

I heard who dictate the rules on T7 is GoM… That’s why they can log in and NSP cannot…

Actually, we don’t always have two active zergs in prime time. Often just one, occasionally none. Almost never three. That kind of activity is reserved for resets, and it’s not just us.

Gotta agree… SF can’t cover all maps at once during the week… They can cover around 2 (sometimes 3) if they aren’t moving in a massive zerg ball (covering only 1 map).

The “T1 ready Blackgate” was stuck for 8 weeks in T2 because the ratings never let us go up. And BG clearly was dominating SoR and IoJ/TC.

Also let’s not forget that Devona’s Rest had to win also 8 weeks straight to move out T8.

SF have 7 wins (by large margin) right now… Who knows, maybe you guys magically move this week? “cross fingers”
