Why is this relevant? Because GW2 is designed to make money and by people using gems to transfer they have in turn undermined the WvW community by reinforcing that.

I stopped reading at that point… The game doesn’t make you transfer, you transfer by your own will, and it was the will of the guilds who left SoS (which still i don’t see why they did it). Now saying it’s Anet fault is one of the most idiotic thing i’ve read on this forum.

In fact everyone though that the bandwagons would end after the free transfer ended, but with the current situation of SoS, we see that isn’t true. Also, that show how pathetic that portion of SoS population was… Once it started losing, it collapsed… (Just as ET, HoD, IoJ, SBI).

Let’s just wish SoS luck wherever it will stop, because i’m sure Fergusson’s Crossing and Eredon Terrace situations are waaaaaaaaaaaaay more delicate than SoS’, and we don’t want another server in that situation. (although if SoS really colapse that bad, we might finally find the 3rd member of the bottom tier)

This event is bugged since the very first time i’ve stepped on Malchor’s Leap. Either the NPCs don’t spawn, or they just sit there without diving in the water, or they go all the way through the corridor and don’t start the door opening event…

I think i’ve completed this event 3 times since launch… And yes, i check it everytime i go to ML.

People cry over because the swords were 5 man only… Now people cry they aren’t 5 man anymore…

Those are NON-COMBAT itens… Stop trying to fight using it…

What people don’t understand is that FC doesn’t want to get out of T8 (at least many regonize they are there for a reason). What FC want is a different opponent, oposed to SF who clearly dominate T8, and problably belong to a higher tier…

Some forum warriors like Orikx.9671 keep just throwing words on FC saying how bad they are and that they have no hope… I’m sure that more than anyone, SoR know how boring it is to take the same beating over and over. I’m kinda surprised to see someone from there saying this kind of stuff.

I do belive FC/ET might have a chance against a different server… But we will only know after SF go up. Too bad it’s taking so long (and still will take at least a month). I’m sure that already heavily demoralizated both servers which i’m sure don’t call WvW fun anymore…

BG already got kicked from T1, twice, and never got deserted… I’m sure that if BG was composed solely by bandwagoners we wouldn’t have stayed on the high tiers after such miserably losses.

However BG ain’t a place for small play anymore… So if the OP is interested in a change of play (compared to SoS), BG isn’t your place.

The team with most Elementalist always win… As they can destroy siege on the walls with gigantic AoE zones, or protect their sieges from enemy sieges.

The only problem i have with Mr. Siegerazer is that he should despawn as soon the team control a tower/keep in the map since he only spawn when your team have none, or at least it’s what he is suposed to do (But he can sit for a few minutes at the tower he capture if he like).

I’ve said already that reflect/absorb projectibles shound’t be able to block catapults and trebuchets (Arrow Carts and Balistas are OK)… But people just say it would turn elementalists useless and blahblahblah. So i had enough of trying to discuss that topic… I’ve been away from WvW for a while anyway…

The trouble is the game is not designed for that. People play to win. People naturally take the path of least resistance.

I hope that after removing the consumables they implement some env. weapons on WvW. Boulders around quary, planks around lumbermill, etc..

Maybe hyleks can give you poison buff for 10min and so on…

The main problem with bundles seems to be how easy it is to spam it or to have a lot of people using in a group. If you have just a env. weapon, it takes time to pick up, cant be spammed or used by 10+ people at the same time, but still provides some tactical use and “fun”.

Indeed… There are some boulders on the EBJP which i’m sure they are there for knocking down people standing at the trap chains. Some of those weapons around the map would add a “tactical change” and since they are limited they wouldn’t get as OP as consumables you can buy 200 for 30silver.

Describe how it’s “unplayable”, i’ve spent many hours on WvWvW on fryday resets and during the weekend. I don’t see a issue there.

JQ hasn’t been red in a very, very long time. I doubt I’ll ever see world completion b/c of it. It should rotate color within each tier every week independent of rank so if your server is in the same tier for 3 weeks you will have been every color. If you move tiers the other 2 servers switch colors and you get assigned whatever is left.

Why don’t you simply go in there and capture the enemy base? That’s what’s the WvWvW is about isn’t?

Well this certainly isn’t happening on our server. Sea of Sorrows has been in 1 and 2nd and possibly 3rd over the last few weeks and has ALWAYS maintained the red position on EB, making it very hard to impossible to get world completion. Is it bugged or is something else going on?

That’s INCORRECT. Blackgate was the red team for 3 weeks while SoS was green (For the three same weeks).
Then SoS dropped to third (making they red), kept their red position for another week (this one), and if the scores stay as they are, SoS will be blue next week (with SoR dropping to third).
BTW, SoS been green for many weeks before BG went to T1 except the week JQ won (Where SoS became blue for the following week). So i’m sure you are either not on SoS (and thinking you are), or just lying to troll the thread.

Maybe he is a elementalist and want to be the only one able to hit siege on the walls…

Ehh… I think we just get carried by WM. Even with all the NA guilds that transfered, the past 2 weeks, we have struggled to take the lead during reset night, and it is only when NA finally goes to bed that WM does the night-cap, giving us the lead.

However, BG have people awake at that time… I don’t think WM will just turn everything blue…

According with my map, Orr is Southwest of the Tarnished Coast borderland, so it’s problably by the Blackgate Border… I just don’t know what is that “Strait of Malchor”. I’d say it’s the lake in the middle of the borderland.

I still feel commander is something that SHOULD be earned and the best thing (for both WvW and PvE) would be influence points and making the tag expire after a period of time and having to repurchase the icon, this means you need to run a large and active guild and actually prove you are able to be a leader.

I don’t want the acquisition of commander being easier, I want it to be different.. different in a way you need to prove you are a good leader, which imo is by purchasing with influence points, this way only large guilds will provide you with a commander, this would mean you are either leading a guild or have a part in leading it.

That would make small guild not be able to buy it (If it’s kitten expensive), or medium-big guilds will be able to buy enough to flood the map (if it’s not expensive).

These are old and they do not represent the actual data anymore… I doubt such a bandwagon like Kaineng still have 0 queues while “dead” servers like IoJ and SBI still have a lot. I wish they get data from THIS week (or last week, when the free transfers ended and people settlet) and show us after this is over.

The bottom right base ALWAYS, have a bank… I use it a lot when I want a bank without having to go to Lion’s Arch and go back to where I was.

I don’t know why they are missing on the Screenshot (clearly from the Bottom Right Base). Maybe the client didn’t loaded they? (NPC Culling? lol)

It takes mesmers a lot more thinking/movement/effort to kill someone than it takes any other class. Mesmers have to work harder for kills than most classes do. But what they lack in roflstomp insta-kills, they make up for in group utilities.

Mesmers who want insta kills camp the JP… I heard they also feed on tears…

I will just belive in the impossible and think that hiding the math is a way to do manual arrangements on the tiers.

i knocked some invaders off the edges about 3 or 4 times last night. unstealth + updraft and they fall and die. i get no credit for it.

If you cause some damage on they before knocking’em down, you get credit.

nah.. knocking them off puts me in combat so i should get credit without doing anything first

All i do on my mesmer to get easy badges is 1,4,4 (Scepter+Focus) and there it is… Just a second more isn’t a problem.

So far only IoJ didn’t came here to say “We’re not dead” (at least from the ones i’ve listed as dead).

In fact i’m thinking about jumping down to some less populated WvW community. I feel like i don’t belong to the “Beastgate” anymore… That’s why i wanted to hear from the “dead servers” if they are still alive, because i’m sure their WvWvW community got dramaticaly smaller.

That was a 1v1, so you really can’t draw much based purely on ppt.

He mean 1v1 because everyone from SBI just went to SoR, leaving SBI a dead server on the match. But I won’t say SoR is weak… It’s holding very well against the old T1 servers, maybe even better than we did.

Everyone have the culling problem… So if one raid was wiped because of culling, it’s because the other dealt with it in a better way… Culling isn’t a one-side issue. So i’d say your statement is flawed.

I don’t know what your experience with SBI was like in T1, but when TC faced their depleted server recently, they were nothing but class on the forums. I like those guys.

It’s possible the unpleasant ones migrated, or became humble in defeat. You can look through some of the old threads if you’d like, they all start well enough, but devolve into hate and bickering soon enough.

But hey, they’re cool now, that’s all that matters right?

That mean SoR is problably twice as annoying, since all SBI went there…
