Well even if you kill the trash it’s still pretty fast, you lose maybe 5 minutes max and you can kill the last boss on a rock and he won’t be able to hit you (like the ooze in arah p1)

I havent pug’d in a looooooong time. the 16 paths I listed are the ones I do with guildies every night, and unless I’m evaluating trials, they go very quickly and smoothly. Even with trial members, runs are still fast; I just need to explain things on TS as we go, which only adds a few mins to the runs.

everyone, even the trials, is full zerk + meta spec though. so if the OP is pug’ing, the only way he’ll get anything near a fast run is to require a gear ping. otherwise, bring on the bearbows and staff guards!

You should try CM P1, it’s almost as fast as CM P3 (with a thief / guard / mes)

I don’t even understand why they would ban sellers now after it was said it’s legit if you don’t use exploits…. (if they would do the same in EU there would be a lot less p2 seller ^^)

Being a leader of a hardcore guild, I do not have that much time (since i’m organizing trials / record run attempts). I ask for people who are open-minded and ready to take advices since the tactics I use might be different from pugs. I also want you to use the meta build with at least exotic gear (doesn’t matter if you don’t have scholar runes, ruby orbs are fine). The runs I do will most likely have someone from my guild or another mentor to come with me.

Usually we just go to the right side past them, there’s a spot where they should lose aggro and if you’re lucky the NPC won’t attack them and go straight to the next section and you won’t have to kill them. Else you can los them behind a rock.

Also http://gw2dungeons.net provides a lot of useful information about every fractal / dungeon paths

According to one comment on my Kholer video, it seems they already nerfed FGS Rush damage in Open World, dunno if it’s true though

They already did that’s why people use flamethrowers instead against Teq now

but the FGS is still effective against dungeon bosses

Well we had this team composition at the beginning. We could’ve used a guard instead of the mesmer but I don’t trust the guard’s wall for Lupicus ^^

You’re right, but you know most boss fights don’t last more than 1 minute. So you’ll have your spirit back for the next boss

its a warrior AND guardian meta not a full zerk meta….

Zerk is the only way for players to cover the last spot in warriors and guardians PUG groups when there are no warriors available.

Most people if they could would play WWWWG or WWWGG….and many do.

One thing, stop playing with pugs (or make a friendlist of good ones) or join a good guild. Then you’ll notice that every class can do the job right (ofc there’ll be always 1 war and maybe 1 guard / mes in the meta group).

Well if you wanna play frost spirit + spotter with sword/warhorn, it’s mostly two different builds (30/25/0/15/0 and 20/25/0/25/0), both works well and you should switch between those two according to the situation (is there plenty of trash mob to kill? is there a FGS?).

Yep. Literally anything that isn’t a current meta dungeon/fractal record, can be posted in the other records section, and will be put on the board when it’s up (shouldn’t be far away).

Solo’s/duo’s, all 1 profession parties, naked runs, boss kills of any type/style. Just make sure you follow the rules!

better go 25 into WS then into skirmishing, OH training is worth losing critical chance/damage with increased utility(especially reflection bubble AOE and CD reduction)

OP wants a full DPS build for ranger so I doubt he’ll spend points into a line who only gives Toughness and Condition Damage (especially spend 25 point in that traitline for a bonus similar to the scholar one instead of buffing your pet damage)

This build, which is good for fractals where there is more trash to clear since you get 5 vuln on each kill.

Or this build which is better for dungeons where you mostly go from boss to boss.

Both builds are good, but I kinda prefer the first one mainly because of precise strike (Opening Strike always crit). That means if you use the Fiery Rush, all hits will be a crit since it’s 1 skill (Video proving that)

Just bring a good ranger and use him to push Alpha with LB

I would change the first rule 12 of the restricted dungeon records (there are two rules 12) to “No player may leave the instance once a run has begun.”

As it is, you allow people to retrait while in the run.

Also, non gameplay gemstore boosters should be allowed (Magic Find, for instance) for both types of run.

For dungeon runs, retraiting would be a time loss, since you have to go to a town, retrait and come back to the dungeon zone (except for TA / AC), so that’s at least 2 to 4 loading screens. And for most runs, we’ll just use the best build for that dungeon. Also relogging to gain time is a smart idea (see the current AC p1 record)

About DE, it isn’t really a nerf (well maybe a lil’ one for PvP idk), look at the dev’s post:

I remember it being: “The timer start once everyone is loaded in the dungeon and when someone moves or uses a skill”.
