Sandy, I love the double vigil, infinite light and firebringer clash to me. But anyway. Great choices, very different from the norm.

All right cool, I was aiming for vigil but certain regulars here didn’t like it the only reason I brought firebringer is that this set is going to be for solos and makes use of battle sigils. The fiery glow on the hands that might gives makes more sense when you switch to a fiery sword, but I too had my doubts about the infinite light combo.

Well the thing is you lose like 400 power /1000 attack and like 10% crit chance / 10% crit damage as a quaggan and we didn’t have the 25 charges on conjure weapons, so it’s not the best DPS (but you would still do more DPS than a staff guardian I guess). That’s why the 5 quaggans wasn’t working well

Wrong. AC P1 is the fastest. Even with pugs (who know what to do).

Yeah AC 1 is the fastest one, followed by 2 and 3 (2 might be longer with pugs).

CoF P1 is the fastest CoF path (and the one most pugs run), followed by P2. But with an organized group P3 is faster than P2

Don’t forget about Coldsnap [IX] (NA), Legion of Doom [LOD] (NA)! Also for EU I heard LuPi started to recruit again

Well yesterday I pugged AC, 2 guys asking for zerk only + 4k AP joined the LFG I put with my 2nd account, that have 1.7k, and I didn’t have any problem, but well I was with a friend. Was decent for P1, P3 was ok till the last boss, then it went just so bad -.- Didn’t even bother to do P2.

Well it’s not top fashion but at least it’s unique!

Yeah a Mesmer in a speedclear guild never uses 10/20/0/25/15 (some ppl in the old Define [HC] were using it for fractal, but we don’t ever use that build in Snow Crows). Instead we use builds like 30/30/0/0/10 or 25/30/0/0/15 (when we don’t need that many reflect). And when we need a good reflection coverage, we use like three different builds depending of the situation: 10/30/0/20/10, 0/30/0/25/15 or 15/30/0/25/0.

Jerem already linked that vid to me in another thread, which is why I added it to our daily dungeon schedule. Our CM p1’s usually take 2-4 mins longer, mostly because the thief solo’s the first part. If you had the thief solo it in your vid, CoF 1 would be faster.

EDIT: maybe the thief did solo it in the vid, I dunno. I can’t really tell from Jerem’s point of view. When I or someone else solo’s it, the rest of the party just waits outside the instance for 2 mins. So since the other 3 players went with the thief, I assume they helped speed up the first part.

Check Mhenlo’s PoV to see a bit more about that run. The thief used the following utilities: Hide in Shadows / Shadow Refuge / Smoke Screen / Shadow Trap. Basically the 3 other members went with the thief to help with the blash finishers.

Definitely Obi shards. Making an ascended back piece in the forge (Quiver of a Thousand Arrows then choose the stats) costs around 70g IIRC. Whereas grinding out > two stacks worth of Obi shards from karma will take insanely long and most likely consist of content you won’t enjoy.

Similar to the Queen’s Gauntlet arena where you get to choose which monster to fight you can practice your class skills in the Dungeon Boss Arena.

Some Characteristics of the Arena:

• Players will have the option to choose which dungeon boss they would like to face and give it a difficulty from easy, medium, and hard. (Hard mode is probably going to be for the Hardcore Veteran Players lol ).
• Each boss will be in their respective environment (For Ex: If players pick Lupicus they will be teleported to the center of arah and prohibited to leave the boundary and go explore the dungeon.) this way veteran players can teach new players how to use the environment to their advantage.
• The bosses in the Arena will not drop any loot because their sole purpose is for players to practice their skills/builds on the bosses.

New players can practice their class builds/skills and become more familiar with the boss mechanics. Instead of players going into the dungeon for their first time not knowing anything about the boss and having their Guild/PUG members finish everything and leaving the dungeon with little to no knowledge about the boss mechanics they can practice in the Arena before going on their dungeon run.

Benefits of the Arena:

• Veteran players can teach new players their group style of killing different bosses without having to spend extra time skipping dungeon trash mobs for a teaching run.
• New players won’t have to wait for a group to run dungeon to practice on the boss.
• Hardcore Veteran players can choose their favorite bosses to solo/duo (Ex: Lupicus) and record their personal record.
• Experiment with new builds, trick, and skills that will be most effective without having to worry about holding your party members back.
• Allowing some of us to do something instead of standing in Lions Arch.

Since this post was archived and most likely not read by devs, I’ll bring it back to the Dungeon Forum this time, since it is an amazing idea.
