Condi dura doesn’t really help that much because condis get cleansed after couple sec anyways.

Well pips are only reason play normal wvw. EotM is superior every other way. Of course it would be ruined if these teamspeak heros would come there with their lame follow commander and spam 1111 tactics. Desert borderland did make WvW little bit better, but it lack super cannons, sentry turrets and would need more bridges and cliffs.

This comes down to a single bloody class mechanic we have complained about over and over again but that Anet utterly refuse to kittening fix unless they’ve sneakily done it in the last couple of patches and I missed it.

Fighting zergs with 15 condi necros? Prepatch that was like fighting… well, a zerg with 15 condi necros. Postpatch, its like fighting a zerg with 30+ condi necros. Complete. kittening. Condi. Overload.
All other condi classes are either gimmicky or have a few types of condis thats far more easily cleansed for zergs.
Necros have so short range that 15 longbow ranges counter them.

Normal WvW players follow commander because they don’t know how to play and builds are copied from metabattle so they don’t need any kind of gaming skills to be effective.

Missed like 100-200 pips yesterday because of this. What is point that some players have outnumbered and other players can’t get outnumbered at all? I get one dc, come back and won’t get outnumbered in whole night while party member have outnumbered whole time.

I have 1,175 tickets after very casual play. I actually played much much more when EotM was active.
I’m guessing you didn’t spend your original ones we got for the old tourneys then because with the current 175 a week cap you could only have mad 875 with getting all the way to diamond so when saying the number please don’t forget you had extra ones that newer players didn’t have access to
I have bought 4 mistforged hero weapons (1 two hander and 3 one handers), but seems like that i got 200 tickets left. Didn’t even know that those are same tickets. No wonder why my efficiency rank is so low. Kittens me off.

No one can take you seriously when you want to completely kitten Thieves by removing There stealth access and Infiltrator Arrow as you have stated in other threads.
You just have issues with fighting any skill level Thief and want them nerfed so you can get free kills.
That isn’t even close to what I’ve said.
I’ve said I’d like to see infiltrators arrow be more useful as a skill and to lose its mobility which would make thief still more mobile but not to the insane level it is atm while giving them more use for SB.
I haven’t said anywhere about removing stealth from thief. I’ve said I’d remove stealth from mesmers nearly but not thieves unless something has been taken out of context.
I have said multiple times in multiple threads that I also want thieves to lose the spammy nature of their attacks and get stronger more impactful abilities but again this is something thief players largely ignore because a lot of them are biased and want to keep their easy mode.

I know why it was used, but that doesn’t change anything. It is still a weapon that was already used 100% of the time on thieves. Dev time would have been better spent making SB5 on thieves not so mandatory for them somehow (preferably by adding some of that mobility to other weapon sets somehow). As it stands though, that was a straight up buff to every thief, since every single one will still be running SB all the time
I think their time would have been better spent removing shortbow 5 from the game entirely. Then figure out wtf they want shortbow to be, a condi or a power weapon and roll with that. Right now it’s some weird hybrid that doesn’t really do any of it well but makes up for it all with an insane gtfo button.
The bias shows in all of your posts about thieves, and yes in quite a few posts you complain about thief stealth and have said they need to lose a lot of access to it.
Well stealth could be something like this. 10 sec stealth, -50% movement speed in stealth and 2 min cool down. You would actually think when to use it.

Some servers seems to use that follow commander and spam 1111 tactic. It’s kind of funny how they try to run over one dude with 60 players. Some ultimate fighting servers have like 3 guild + pugs in same blob when they fight against PvE players that mainly stand inside tower and run away when wall go down. Of course if they manage kill like 5 dudes it’s farming.

what about: while in stealth thieves consume 1 initiative \ second, and less initiative less damage dealt in power and condition damage. Thief without initiative may still be in stealth and deal attacks which don’t require initiative but the damage should be like a wet noodle even in dire\marauder when it reach 0 initiative.
Right now dagger autoattack being doing 8k \sec (2k crits in spamming no cd AA able to 4 attacks per sec) it’s simply ridiculous having in mind it can attack with backstab for 15k + dagger AA for +8k and go back into stealth.
So each AA consume 1 initiative and the less initiative less damage dealt thus the thief will actually have to manage the risk versus reward when fighting other classes.
Additionally the thief could gain new sources of initiative when some specific circumstances are met like interrupting an enemy.
Instead of directly nerfing stealth, rework initiative? I cannot say I hate this idea.

to spam iniciatiative, they have to choose “trickery” trait line, and drop the trait lines that giver power or condi damage.
“shadow arts” is the traitline that giver stealth bonusses.
A “trickery” + “shadow art” thief, will have only 1 free trait line, they have to choose damage or survivability, if they choose damage, they become squish, if they chose survivability they dont do damage.
a Thiev to have relavante damage and survival, have to drop Shadow Arts+Trickery, and become a some sort of “brawler” like most of daredevils.
About stealth, the skills that give it, have huge cooldowns. the cheaper one, pistol+dagger have 2s only, and low skill proc.
What the kitten you talking about? I don’t even know how to play thief, but i still can stealth whenever i want if i don’t just spam skills like some moron.

So where you find these bad thiefs anyways? Well maybe my high rank, op vanilla scepter/dagger ele spec and ultimate dominator title scare all scrubs away. I watch these videos where thief get killed and all those thiefs seems to be kind of stupid. Like hammer reve vs thief. I can understand that hammer reve land hit in 50 vs 50 fight, but 1 vs 1 fight it should be totally impossible if thief have normal reaction time.

How about the introduction of power stat gear that gives power, precision, ferocity, vitality, and toughness. That would be fair, right?
Or what if power users should go PvE maps and do that dodge training before they can come WvW? I play vanilla scepter/dagger ele and i don’t have any kind of condi problems. I mainly lose because i am bad player.

Condis do get blocked if the skills that apply them are blocked.
IMO, the problem is when those skills are unblockable, spammy or apply too much condi too easily. It’s a problem with a few broken, unfun builds. Fix those and people would stop complaining so much.
I heard rumor that some players actually use dodge when they fight against condi specs. Of course some players just stand in one place take 8 skill combo, Wonder why they have big condi stacks and come whine forums.

I’m not really worried about condi as much atm – I got hit by a 11,152 phase smash and 10,913 dragon’s tooth on my necro lol. That’s more than what some thieves hit me with usually.
Yes because dragons tooth is so hard to evade. Probably one of worst skills in whole game.

Well these “roamers” have utility slots full of skills that give chill and conditions. Kind of bad idea start to nerf class core abilities just because some lamers play cancer builds. Maybe warrior should have less toughness and vitality just because some players use shield and those lame stances?

It’s weird if i play mesmer for example i feel that i don’t have have nearly enough blocks and invulnerability, but when i fight against one i feel that they have too much. Could we give mesmer more blocks and invulnerability when i play one and less when i play some other class?

Around 5AM FSP took 2 main keeps on EBG. Enemies are constantly coming and dying instantly, because they badly want to defend it and FPS just farm them. Thats why you see those spikes at this hour.
Or those were bots because nobody instantly die against FSP.

I just remember that before HoT there was like 100 vizuna players in SM wall and i just run through all of them with my hammer warrior. Barely even took any dmg and didn’t use any invulnerability. Nowadays you drop dead like fly.

A 2, 3, 4, 5 Staff Mark spam alone stacks 11 bleeds
Reaper Rune + Suffer! = 6 Bleeds (9 Bleeds if Chilling Nova triggers)
CTTB! = 3 Bleeds
Geomancy + Hydromancy Proc = 6 Bleeds
Grasping Darkness = 3 Bleeds
Nightfall + Trait = 3 to 6 Bleeds
[…]The combo is important in sPvP. In WvW it’s not.It’s very easy to bait cleanses with the skills mentioned above as they have enough pressure to kill most classes and then set up the 5+4 combo to wreck face.
