We were up against VS (and others). Most of us that were on FSP since the beginning remember how the blobs were in the days when we were in the upper tiers.
This is why most of the wvw veterans from FSP do not want our server to climb higher in the tiers.
Saying that people are crying just goes to show how clueless you and other trolls like you are.
But then again, what can we ask from a server where the trolls are stuck at the level where all they can do is post youtube crap.

The thing that i am trying to tell you is that GW has PvE and PvP. The open world and WvW is PvE. PvP is not about armor or buff food, it´s about skill, tactic, and teamplay.

WvW has plenty of skill, tactic and teamplay. Get out of your blob more often and you will find out.

@Seed – wvw is pvp, you cant tell me that if you use food buffs you`re considering its pve.
They copied it from Warhammer which in turn took it from DAoC.
Warhammer had the same – spvp/tpvp (called scenarios or battlegrounds there) and wvw (which was called realm vs realm). All of them were considered pvp.
The wvw you are playing today is not a new concept and its been around for ages.
It was always considered a form of pvp.

@Seed – as long as im fighting and killing players and not mobs its pvp. The difference between pvp armor/skills and the ones we use in wvw its minimal. Pvp also has objectives so your argument is sadly flawed. WvW is basically pvp on a larger scale, with more diverse objectives.
Just because you play the game as player versus door and choose to blob up when you get killed doesnt make it pve.

It is actually. GvG is a pure PvP mode, with PvP skills and PvP equipment. WvW is PvE. In reallity you are playing small scale fights, in a PvE enviroment, with PvE skills and PvE equipment.

As for the rest of AM`s, post all the youtube crap you want, at the end of the day we`ll still be here jumping on your corpses.

By jumping on our corpses, you are not contributing to your server. So if that makes you happy, then keep doing it.

You dont seem to get it. Most of us have 2 frames per second when encountering your zergs. Im not going to explain why that happens, you can find info about it yourself on the forums. What i can tell you is that the game is not fun when you cant use your skills or even move.
On one side it is Anet`s fault for the crappy engine they are using but most of the fault lies with the whole mentality that servers like AM have.
“Its ok if we suck, we`ll just get more players and steamroll them”.
If you want to win that badly and this is how you want to play the game, its fine with me, go ahead.
But dont come here and bullkitten us trying to come up with excuses for zerging.
AM already has a reputation for being a terrible server, what you guys are doing ingame or on the forums is making it worse.

So you are not able to inspire enthusiasm for wvw among your players in the same way AM can.

What you are saying in the end is that “you either play with us how we want to or you`re free to leave”. It shows a fear of change, a unwillingness to try and play the game differently.
However, in the long run, this type of thinking will affect your server in a negative way, people will not improve, and at some point they will start to realize just how boring it is to play just by blobbing up.

Haven’t been to EB yet, but I’d run away from a 1v1 most likely, why ? because with my build I’d pretty much get owned by a competent player. I run with a build that focuses on group play and AoE etc. It’s just common sense, neither can I be bothered with a boring 1v1 when I’m in WvW for obviously the large scale fights. If you want small scale go sPvP and quit the moaning. I also find it funny how you’re surprised that you get jumped and outnumbered fights in wvw, especially EB…

Anyway, nice night in DL BL. You guys sure are suicidal tho…I got like 400 kills during in just ~30 minutes at the fights near cragtop (?) and garrison. Good stuff.

While i understand why someone would avoid doing a 1v1 on a support build, i disagree with you when it comes to roaming solo in wvw. I do both spvp and wvw and to be honest, roaming around wvw on my ranger is a lot more fun than sitting in a circle all day long (spvp-tpvp). But then again, it`s a matter of preference.
So far, i liked this matchup, even if FSP is clearly no match for Piken, we had a few good fights against DL and PS, and i`m sure more will follow.

The whole argument is flawed right from the beginning.
You`re assuming that tpvp-ers and wvw-ers dont have the capacity to adapt.
Its like saying that, for example, if i play a lot of Gw2 i must suck at every other game.
When it comes to wvw and tpvp, a good player will still be a good player, no matter what. And if he/she will not do so great in the start, adapting quickly would not be a problem.

Sadly no AM peeps showed up other than the few AM [ROSE] who were spectating us for a moment (I think it was AM guys, I was kinda busy trying to stay alive), big thanks to you guys for not interrupting the duels! First fight is FSV with fairly even numbers – a good fight but your not outnumbered (they have 10, its easy enough to count).
A fairly even fight against pugs in garrison but you’ve got siege – yawn
A fairly even fight against pugs at briar in which you nearly wipe, decentish fight all the same
Blob wars at bay and vale – yawn

FSV was already trying to defend the tower from a zerg that was attacking from AMs garrison side.
You also had pugs that kept reinforcing from the spawn. Our objective there was to destroy your treb, which we actually did at the second push.
I ran on all borders until around 22-23:00 and i couldnt find a fight with numbers smaller than 20.
We met some small Gandara groups, but that`s about it.

Sitting in the community ts right now, I can see that there are round about 20people in the channel for my borderland…. and I’m running in a “blob” (which is a word from children made for other children to use it) with 60+

Additional I never met another server who never have zergs with over 50 people. In my oppinion no one would complain about, if his server has 50+ zergs all the time on every bl! No one can tell me, that he would tell the people in that case that they have to leave.
And there are ways to defeat big zergs… using acs is absolutly in the spirit of wvw, don’t know what’s wrong about that. Or organising bigger guild zergs (like BB did, guild zergs with 60+ peoble… this is not a “blob”? Also funny… if we could tell everybody on our server to join 2 or 3 biiiig guilds, who would say “oh my god, AM had a great development, no blobs any longer?” just becouse there would be the same guild behind every name).

Nobody is telling anyone to leave wvw. And if you dont like the word “blob” we can use other words for it. People just want you to spread your guys out a bit.
I personally dont care how many towers or camps you get or how many people you have camping 24/7 behind a arrow cart. What i care about are smaller scale fights, and those are pretty non-existant when it comes to Am. Or if one even happens by accident, you can be sure that the whole AM zerg is not far from there.
If you enjoy sitting in a group pressing 1 all day long, go ahead, im not going to tell you how to have fun or how to play. But you have to understand that not everyone enjoys the lag of a large fight and there are many of us that prefer to roam in 5-10 man groups, as it is way more challenging than sticking with the herd like a good sheep.

Well if most of your zergs/groups would be randomzergs/mixedzergs it could make sense to split into equal sized zergs perhaps to creat even fights. But as most of you guys run in guildgroups it would in fact become a “20-30man guildgroup farms 20-30 randomgroup” and that wouldn’t be fair nor would it be any fun for us.

So, let me get this right, instead of trying to improve your teams and organization you rather double your numbers.

Looking at the video all i see you leading a giant zerg, pressing 1 from time to time. You barely even use food/consumables.

im quite ashamed to be FSP now cause of all this trashtalk, FSP has steamrolled other servers just like gandara is doing right now and im quite sure Gandara is super happy right now cause they not meeting Abbadons mouth. We all remember the AM blobbs and we all still have nightmares about them… Gandara is not blobbing up they have very good zergs.

and to be honest I never really ever seen Gandara guild groups running with commander and a gazillion pugs. But if its going well for a server ofcourse alot of pugs will join to get their POI and vistas and naturally stick around a little to steamroll other servers :P

Good luck in the upper tiers. Please send us a few photos of the blobs you`ll encounter there so that we, the lowly unskilled peasants of Far Shiverpeaks, might bask in your glory and wonder at your godlike nature.
Since my IQ is about the same as the room temperature and I don`t tend to go out much I wasnt very sure what you meant by “skilled”. I asked a friend and he told me that skill looks like a huge red “train” of people that spam laugh emotes every time they defeat a much smaller force.
While the vast majority of our FSP force valiantly defends the borderland spawnpoints (a tedious and dangerous task that requires hours of sitting in the same place) a few of us still roam the wvw areas.
Until the end of this matchup we ask you kindly to divide your “skill” a bit so that we can get a small sense of accomplishment by bringing down a door or killing the occasional npc every now and then.

Talking about actual jumping on top of a body that’s on the ground, not ganking and killing us. [JDGE]‘s super bad scrubby ganking team only jumps and /dances if it’s someone from [lion] guild, but if you bump into our “that Russian thing” engineer with ugly hat, he’ll most likely do some more hurtful things as he lives off of vodka and has never seen a sober day. During one of our guild raids we found him humping a magic find banner. Anyways, going too much offtopic here! No, it didn’t burn as FSV didn’t get me, was just wondering as FSV has always been a well respected guild, known for their fair play and good behaviour. As for getting randoms into a large groups, i think most of us like/do different things.
Sitting in a zerg and autoattacking (you know, because nothing else works, skills dont trigger) is not something i would call “fun”.

does TUP always blob or was it a special occasion today ?

We didn’t deliberately group up with anyone else tonight, and tried to do our own thing as we always do. I’d say for the majority of the evening we were running by ourselves, but apologies if you did encounter us at the same time as another guild. Unfortunately it happens from time to time, but is not intentional.

We also had a higher than normal turnout from within the guild too peaking at 27, which may make us look a little blobby, but this week has already promised and provided some exciting fights so our backs are up. Looking forward to the rest of the week and thanks for the battles so far MS and FSP.

I know you don`t blob, i was just joking. During some of the fights on FPS`s border there seemed to be a pug group following you guys around (i know its annoying))
PS – did you guys used to play Warhammer by any chance ?
