dont worry everyone. i got the item. just had to get a medium armor character to level 22 story mode, get the item. transmute it so it became account bound. then transmute it to the piece i wanted it to be. but yea there are rare armor pieces you can only get from personal story. i checked all the karma vendors because armor sites showed it as karma armor, but it isnt. the armor sites just go to the mists, preview a set, and call it where most of it comes from

it is pvp superior studded shoulders. in pve they are called studded shoulders. they are a rewards for level 22 personal story for medium characters.

honestly that was just a thief, they will do that. next time just use elixir s as soon as u see your hp spike, also try not to be alone in wvw

yea, if attack power of current weapons carried over they would just nerf kit damage to compensate. i just dont see why you are complaining about a buff to kits, previously losing all the bonus stats from weapons was a HUGE loss of stats in pve

I was simply clarifying what was meant by bonus stats.

brinson, kits all show the same attack power on your stat screen, that is not a direct way to measure the power of the kit. for example I will compare 3 kits I just put on, all of which has the same attack as u said. Elixir gun does 242 dmg, grenade does 200 twice, and tool kit does 484. if they all had the same attack why do they do different damage? power to damage ratios. therefor attack power is a pointless number that u just see not change so u feel you aren’t doing more damage

I’ve noticed a lot of people here did not understand what the patch meant when it stated weapon stats now work with bundles. It was NOT talking about weapon strength. It was reffering to stats below that such as power, toughness, vitality, magic find, ect. This also means no changes were made to kits in spvp, this only effects kits in pve and wvw. To me, playing condition engineer, this is an amazing improvement to my damage while in kits. I no longer lose my condition dmg from my weapons, along with the other useful stats they offer.

yo, i would recommend doing the meta event in that area, if u need that skill point….. or a legendary weapon

ported to heart of the mists to goto lions arch, and noticed tixx and talked to him and i got nothing; however, my apprentice toymaker title was at 11/12 and after talking to him it became 12/12 and yet i didnt get another achievement done anywhere, so i asked my guildmates and they linked toymaker’s bag and i was confused

that is their spawn if you are so ignorant to not know there are 3 exits to the spawns on the bottom of the boarderlands you shouldn’t be in wvw. also this isnt an exploit as they are gaining nothing from being there other then distracting you from being useful elsewhere. it would be an exploit if they could walk out of spawn with the determined buff and take the camp

crafting, takes like 5 minutes to get the 500k exp soo easy

i had to do it right after a server reset to get it to work

seeing as gems and gold can be traded between one another, and we can buy gems with irl money; that means anything involving gold in the game ties directly to irl money. this whole question seems invalid

It just took about 15 people to kill one thief who was keeping a supply camp from being captured because they had unlimited stealth. we had to run around the entire capture point aoeing everything until we finally managed to get a lucky daze to kill one person. This was not a culling issue, the thief was able to chain stealth after stealth to remain invisible forever

what is to say your party didnt help you kill it and u just happened to have a broken item on/ in your bag, and you took off all your other gear?

asuran cultural tier 3 weapons. easy to obtain as all they take is karma, they leave a purple trail

when against melee mobs: kite, dodge their cc
when against ranged mobs: use reflects, dodge their attacks(if applicable), inflict weakness, crowd control them, inflict blindness, strafe back and forth in place for mobs with slower projectiles to make them all miss to your sides

i know the gloves are dualist/vatlaaw medium armor

Clear Answer: you currently can not get this armor set in PvE

wait 30 minutes of no use on the ballista and it will go away, alternatively, have you tried selecting(clicking floating paper) the vista

you can get exotic gear by crafting it with 400 leatherworking and hunstman, you can buy gear off the trading post, you can do dungeons(explorable mode) to get tokens(and 26s and karma) each run to transfer into gear. you can buy pieces of exotic armor for 42k karma a piece

guild bonus +10% banner bonus +5%, and magic find booster +50%

after searching the internet for like 2 hours trying to find it, i have concluded you can only get the chest in pve

you can select the look between the two items by click the corresponding icon and item name. you may then chose between the stats of the two items i.e. the rare stats or the masterwork stats, and lastly you can chose which upgrade slot item you want(if applicable)

1. Ebon Vanguard weapons can be bought for karma from the cultural weaponsmiths in Ebonhawke.

2. Black Lion Chests, and I believe you can get lucky from daily achievement.

keep in mind you can transfer in game gold to gems to buy them from gem store

perhaps you should look into a ranger, they can tame ‘tank’ like pets such as bears to draw aggro for them so they can avoid taking damage themselves and just shoot enemies while you pet takes the damage. they can use short bows, long bows, and throwing axes for ranged attacks.

engineers can use rifles and pistols as well as some awesome weapon kits, like dropping bombs, throwing grenades, weilding a flamethrower. almost all the engineer class is ranged.

warriors can use rifles and longbows and you dont ever have to use melee weapons

and if u want to play a caster like ranged class i would recommend playing guardian and using a staff and scepter/shield combo

if you arent very good at mmos as you say and gw2 is a very active combat styled one i would avoid the light armor professions as they just tend to die more easiely.

yea it still looks cool and still stands out, but I was really hoping for a massive glowing pillar

just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you plan on making the staff. it does NOT glow all over like the greatsword. i was exspecting a massive blue glowing staff like the greatsword does. the staff only glows a little at the top
