just wonder, how much people have played at least one tournament match which is either one of soloq or teamq? Including both idle and active players. any1 know? i am asking total number of players both soloq and teamq including their idle and active players heehee

Since patch, rifle killshot become complete kitten: it just doesnt hit becuz too easy to dodge but we lose all adrenaline, also no cond removal benefited from cleansing ire, + being hit by enemy while preparing killshot.

As comparing killshot to axe elite skill whic is very similar skill in point of doing high physical damage by one hit, axe elite skill exactly hit one target within its range but rifle elite doesn’t if there is a dog or minion right in front of me, so also become trash if you duel ranger or necro with rifle. also, axe elite skill is bit hard to dodge but killshot is too easy tk dodge, almost 99% evaded by enemy for sure in duel, unless you are dueling complete noob.

Rifle need Either one of follwing buff
1. decrease its cast time by 0.5 sec
Or
2. Normal attack grants bonus adrenaline without condition of vulnerable target and change 4th skill does something different.
Or
3. no killshot cooltime even if cancelled while casting time. so we can do some kind of “trick” by cancelling and redoing killshot immediately, making them a bit confused.

And one mandatory thing to apply regardless of above buffs.
1. Killshot must pierce, at least one unit.

1vs1 with strategy is fine, like gw1 had. however, current custom dueling arena, like leaving only 2 people in a area like desert and force them to just “fight” is ruining game i think.

the reason is simple, if you can determine which one is best by simply making 2 opponents dueling each others then just figure out its result, it ruins game itself actually. if you are game creator you probly dont wanna making your game look cheap by makinh dueling arena so people can find fastest way to conquer the game balance design & system itself. it should leave something abstract and undeterminable to make customer play the game longer i mean. Anet need to ban all custom dueling arena to make game their game valuable.

Just wonder, i know daze can disable enemy skills for a short time but can they dodge, that costs endurance, during that time?

Yeah. you may do make your own leaderboard like this by analyzing people the way you want to implement haha. Currently anet do NOT fix soloQ LB to be more precisely but you may make more precise one based on the activities how all top1000 did for a specific term (like 1 month or something)

This is because of several reasons: 1. Some professions can carry in solo Q harder than others (one example is a thief); 2. Some players like to try out different builds, play builds which they’re not good with but enjoy trying out in Solo Q, and only try hard in team Q; 3. There are some skills unique to team Q, like communicating downed player, reviving, cleaving, targeting etc. that are impossible in solo Q

And lastly we don;t even need to take care of communication stuff skill thru voice chat in soloQ, but rather, it is better for you to increase your personal skill to check Ally’s HP bar all the times so you can be prepared to rez him, meaning that increase your solo skill. lol what you are talking about communication skill via mic isn;t required in soloQ. impossible yeah, but so what? i don’t even know why you even talk about this but, rather than increase your communication skill, you can increase your soloq skill of looking ally’s hp many times and be prepared to rez.

I don’t think I am wrong since backpack seems like just putting all his friendly people into his top25 list and just evaluate them by his general experience based upon plays with them (or might be just team arena LB only) but almost no use of real evidence or real records remained in leaderboard like what I did. What I blamed is that he use no LB records of their soloq but just say top25 overall though. If you can check my post above explaining this with 3 evidences, I think it would convince you.

Anyways, original purpose of making both soloQ and teamQ must not be distorted. For me, TeamQ is rather TROLL than soloQ becuz you can solo submit like soloq on teamq and mostly you win if you have decent teammates gg and the worst problem of teamQ I think is that people in team pvp only, mostly play with themselves whose ranks are similar, so making a lot of MONOPOLY in Team Arena Ranking System. (IT IS REAL EVIDENCE THAT YOU SEE TEAM ARENA TOP PLAYER’S LB RANKS ARE ALMOST FIXED FOR MANY MONTHS.) but when it comes to soloQ, every1 get equally random people, and same amount of luck and bad luck to every1 as their total number of queuing increases. Everything is equalized in soloQ, therefore, NO MONOPOLY happens in soloQ, but, people may rotate certain range of rank bracket. That is why I love soloq much more. I rarely play teamQ though, just to test build.

it takes longer if your rank is high. currently, it takes normally about 6~7min for me cuz my rank in soloq is pretty high -_-;

absolutely it means something… for example, when they have same 100 matchs, which is enough that both luck and bad luck can happen to any1 equally, they shows different performance as listed above. In this case i replaced that 100 matchs with total matchs in a month though. Also, as you know soloq ranks fluctuate a lot, so i rather used rank range bracket to estimate how long they have been staying in which range of ranks, and it shows their general performance: staying in higher range of rank bracket means that his performance is actually better.

Actually backpack is right about solo Q. It can’t be taken seriously and the ranks mean absolutely nothing. For example, the high amount of 4v5’s. The amount of clueless pve players mixed in the queue, teams that are not even closely balanced(every game)..etc.

Solo Q dosent matter and that josre guy is just pushing far with a full cleric build so he can contest 3v1 and win the game easely.

Once he tried to drop his usual cleric build I killed him pretty easely.

Team Q is much more acurate of player skill although you can get carried but it still takes more skill to win in top 100 team Q than top 100 solo Q.

In fact there’s plenty of turret enginners placed in the top 20 solo Q. No skill no brain , carried by turrets and they are holding top solo Q rank.

Solo Q should never be taken seriously.

Warrior : too nerfed, currently worst class to play. Rifle war now become complete kitten.
Ranger : too buffed, currently nice to play.
Necro : Similar as usually, normally you play.
Ele : Similar, strongest class currently and need nerf
Engi : Similar as usually, normally you play
Thief : Similar as usually, normally you play
Mesmer : Similar as usually, normally you play
Guardian : traditionally useless class except bunker job, need a bit more buff in mobility and cond dmg.

Cheese order:
Ele > Ranger, Necro > Engi, Thief, mes > Guardian, Warrior

Nerf in need class : Ele, Ranger, Necro, engi (for skyhammer only)
buff in need class : Warrior, Guardian

just wonder, you know they use fear whenever i get close, are those fear blockable? (for example, block it with shield if i am warrior)

This is a big problem in solo queue, whether you start the game short-handed or somebody leaves in the middle, be it through rage quit or disconnect.

So, my idea is … if you outnumber the other team, you can’t respawn. Respawns would be queued up.

For example players A, B, C, D, and E are on blue and outnumber red. Red still manages to kill A. A will not be able to respawn for now.

If the 5th red player manages to reconnect, A will respawn.

If red kills player B, player A will now respawn and B will be locked.

It would kind of suck for the locked player, but not as much as it sucks being outnumbered.

just put NPC instead of that person when some1 left heehee.

honestly i have not seen any person who cant dodge rifle elite skill, kill shot, during my 1000+ pvp game unless he is complete noobs. I am top50 in lb so plz do not say me that it fails becuz of my poor skill. it is just too easy to dodge i mean, it mostly misses and then we lose adrenaline as a result. even worse case when dueling thief that they do reflects missle whole whirlwind, in this case, i lose my all adrenaline+no dmg to him+i get dmg.

Just do one of follwoings:
1. don’t make it loses adrenaline only for rifle’s elite skill only. or
2. Reduces cast time of rifle elite skill. Or
3. Grant extra adrenaline for using any of rifle skills to recharge them way much faster.

Just do it anet, you nerfed rifle way too much. It is the most and worst nerf for warrior this time, and it is even worse then those torment dmg nerf or healing sig nerf actually cuz applying torment is way much easier than kill shot.

They don’t need to dodge, because in a large group, they will likely have aegis or protection from the numerous guardians running around nearby. Shooting a killshot into a zerg is a 50/50 chance at best, just on mass buffs. If it was unblockable, then it would actually need you to dodge, as it is, it is far too unreliable.

lol unblockable does nothing to do with enemy’s evade. i think warrior rifle is the one getting the most nerf since kitten became real garbage.

nope. warrior, or probly guaridian traditionally, is currently worst class cuz they got nerfed 2 times continuously since april patch. also have real evidence that warrior population in top100 has decreased a lot as compared to era before april patch. Now war anf guardian has lowest population placing top100, it is fact. currently thief on team arena of NA called Magic Toker is top1 in teamq so this topic does not make any sense all. dont estimate and guess based kn flase info or just assumptions, rather, use real evidence and proof like me when you really estimate something. currently ele and necro are the most op class from the data from its population of top100 position. thief is pretty fine right now.

you know, warrior class got nerfed 2 times continuously. first time they nerf lb’s 3rd skill and healing signet. then now torment, adrenaline and etc.. since update rifle become complete trash becuz it will mostly not hit but lose all addrenaline. mace.. no one use except 100b mace stun combo noob.

If you look at the top5 people (legend of the arena)of current leaderboard on both soloq or teamq(NA). there isnt even a person who plays warrior mainly also.

Perhaps you might say legendaryGorn= but i saw this guy playing engi and ranger a lot meaning now he is multiclass as well. magic toker=thief or sometimes mes. Top1 celtus.8456 is ele. noscoc is necro(this guy has the most op build i have ever seen during 1000+ rounds) . Ementon is guardian. Phantom martine is probly necro.

There is Just no warrior. it reflects warrior becomes sucks already before today’s patch. even though you expand this range from top5 to top100, there are more necro, or, eles than warriors. but i wonder why anet is still nerfing only warrior that much -_-

Nope. i pretty much do commandering in soloq of spvp. it shouldnt be removed from spvp, usually when bunkering somewhere i do command people in chat.

Are people forgetting how incredibly easy it is to obtain adrenaline?

So who cares if you spent those 3 bars, the rifle aa got an adrenaline buff and by the time the cooldown comes off you can try again. Also warrior rifle isn’t meant for up front battles, you should try sniping from a vantage point and see how much more effective it is in a team fight (like above the hut in temple of the silent storm).

whether it is easy to gain adrenaline or not, it is actually nerfing to rifle users. gaining easy or hard isnt related to the main problem.

becuz of that, rifle elite skill become just super useless, actually, it is even worse to even use it becuz everybody will evade it, and you lose all adrenaline. It become like, garbage that warriors must not use. omg, who would use skill that never hit and lose all adrenaline.

sometimes we will have more worst case when fighting again thief. we lose all addrenaline, damage, and reflection to me by thief’s whirlwind, which is the worst case though. but it is very easy for thief to do such thing. i just fought against Karmy and yeah, she reflects all my rifle elite skill.

ONLY,
“fear me +rifle elite combo” or “pindown + rifle elite combo” is only useful way to implement, however, their cooldown time is vey very long.

I wonder who balanced this among anet team.
He is really stupid in a way that it just went totally reverse from his original purpose of improving rifle. it actually got nerfed.

I am pretty sure no one gonna use rifle more than ever.
