This. Try pulling this off in our BL and see how long you last. There’s a reason our BL keeps are rarely flipped during the primetime hours, and at all. Also, Eternal is not a place to brag about, as strategically in the long run it provides nowhere near the amount of points you can get for ruling borderlands just due to how many people are on there at a given time. Whereas borderlands oftentimes are left alone by their servers, making them easy prey. There’s a reason why we’re able to get massive amounts of points every week, and protip, it ain’t through Eternal.

Well he did neither lol. Worse off, had his buddies on the AC’s not been there I’d have gotten up again. He simply was not not putting out enough damage on his own. I can only assume, again with all due respect, his damage was so low because he’s running a tanky build. In which case what would have ensued would have been neither one of us being able to kill the one another.

How’s any self-respecting warrior supposed to lay down for sleep in good conscience when he can’t supplant a widdle ol’ ranger, even after said ranger is already down? No way for a warrior to live! =D

So. Had you thought it though, you would have realized that the warrior was likely running a tanky build with poor damage output. So telling him to amp up his damage was dumb advice. Because it was advise you were giving him after all. I mean, had you thought it through. Which is clear you didn’t.

AR is the defacto smaller server of the 3. If after 10 weeks you haven’t figured this out then you are truly ignorant or just joined WvW.

AR will gladly fight BP 1v1. But as we all know , Ebay can’t help itself and MUST get in its kicks. So what ends up happening? We have BP @ hills and Ebay @ Bay and both poking us @ Garry.

What do we get for our efforts? A bunch of immature kids on the forums putting us down ( you know who you are) in the forums and using lines like ‘bunch of bads’ and ‘dumptster these fools’.

Now I’m a big boy and have grown thick skin so these lame trolls just go unanswered, same for my guild and for the regular WvW in AR. But if you haven’t noticed , AR is a pug/casual server when it comes to WvW. So when the puggies get discouraged ( you know, sorta like what happened to Ebay this weekend) they bail and go do something else.

So this alliance is our effort to bring some life back into AR WvW, ( you know, Tuesday when we had 360ppt) and provide an more enjoyable experience for our puggies.

Do i like this alliance? hell no. I would much rather spend my nights making BP cry and Kalkz rage. But we do what leaders do and swallow our pride and our own self interest and agree to this alliance. Call us lapdogs if you want but this has been a great boon to the WvW community in AR.

Now do I expect you to understand the above, no. The fact that you had to ask shows that your way to immature to grasp the concept. However I do know there are plenty of mature players on Ebay who will understand this and maybe just maybe one will take you aside and explain it to you.

Then why did those better players not win vs greater numbers in T4?

Two answers.

You lost to better players. or you lost to greater numbers.

If A, then your server has wasted 10 weeks in T5, yes 10 weeks, as stated by your own realm mates, AR and BP are a bunch of bads. Guess what?, you don’t get better by playing bads.

If B, you lost to greater numbers. Then both AR and BP have a valid point, they are losing to Ebay because of population and coverage not skill.

Now you and I both know, and every sensible reader here knows, that the Glicko system and the PPT tally over a 24 hour 7 day week is a measure of, population and coverage, NOT SKILL.

I hope AR and BP team up against EB considering EB destroyers both of them each week. The game was designed with 3 server to correct an unbalance of servers such as T5 experiences every week. IF AR and BP teaming make the fight more even then T5 is in a better place than it was before.

T5 would be a better place with 3 evenly matched servers, not a lopsided matchup like we’ve got. A 2v1 alliance makes it tougher for the 3rd to get out of the tier to where it belongs.

This is just my two cents on this whole alliance between BP and AR as a Fellow AR person I think it was a horrible Idea, commanders in AR saying don’t fight BP in Map yesterday while I am seeing BP taking camps and towers in AR BL..I call kitten on that. I don’t post here often, but I follow whom I choose to follow and no commander in AR speaks for me or how I play. I sometimes zerg and sometimes roam its my play Style. It is an agreement, between a handful of guilds/commanders. There are plenty of BP/AR commanders/guilds that are not part of this agreement. Guess what, they are free to do as they please.

Trust me if I see BP on ARBL, they are dead.

Do commanders have the ability to see how many from their server are on a given map at a given time, or only their own guild (or nothing)? It would be really interesting to see if BP + AR = EB in WvW numbers, on average.

And re. what anyone “gets” out of the alliance…..it lasted a precious few hours, and we don’t get anything from it because we don’t want anything from it. It was just an interesting experiment that provided some interesting results. Most important, it was cool, fun, and everyone had a blast. I think EB was surprised by it, was challenged by it, and they too, as a server, likely had a blast. THAT was the point. The rest (score, place, blah blah blah) doesn’t matter.

So…according to you, if a post has the word “numbers” in it, it’s “complaining”. ROFL.

For those who can actually comprehend, it’s a question: Do commanders have the ability to see numbers of 1) total team members on-map, 2) total guild members on-map, or 3) (careful here koolaid, this is a tricky one) none of the above. Just curios (or in koolio’s lexicon, complaining…..LOL).

I have to say I am most disappointed to see AR fall so far this week. They were doing so well the previous weeks and are now getting stomped by BP. Sad times indeed.

How is that even a reply? I mean WvW is about capturing towers to get the highest points. Of course they are. PvD is the game. So because EB is PvD you get to use AR as whipping boys for your benefit? I don’t understand your answer, but apparently AR is satisfied with it.

As I said, I used to think much higher of AR until they began to kitten themselves to BP and take the huge sacrifice they are making in Points and Ranking that they are so that BP can come out 2nd place.

Just a word of encouragement to AR, the purpose behind this alliance is for us (BP&AR) to be in 1st and 2nd. Your help has been invaluable and we will continue to need it. As far as who gets first and who gets second I personally don’t care as much, I am happy that together we can give Ebay a challenge. As long as one of us takes 1st (either BP or AR) because they took more of Ebay’s points than the other (and not from the other) than I shall be fine with that outcome.

Have you never played on a map when one of the other servers is totally afk.
Happens in most borderlands and occasionally in EB.

Every match up has 3 servers matched against one another. Therefore , wvw is always 2v1 from each servers perspective.

I know these transfers are crazy. I just don’t understand why everyone went to Ehmry and not Borlis, I continually see what a tightly knit community of dedicated WvW players they have, a really solid NA presence. I’ve honestly heard nothing but good things about BP and I would keep it in mind if you are thinking about transferring servers (and miss out on all the fun Anvil is going to have in a T6 match up). Looking forward to SF, if they can pull it together and not be weekend warriors.

We beat DH because of coverage gaps. DH is beating SF because of coverage gaps. SF would choke on their own tears in T5.

I think Sekz is just a bit tired of fighting the same servers over and over. It gets a little old after a few months. We just want a challenge, not an easy victory.

You keep saying that but your actions say otherwise. Two months now in T5. As a server you either , a) want to be here , b) don’t know how to get out .

You’ve been here 8 weeks. I predict another 4 weeks minimum.

Also as a guild, I’m sure SEKz could have farmed enough gold (over 8 weeks) to pay to transfer each member off this server. Yet here you are, you say one thing but your actions say otherwise.

I’m pretty sure both BP and AR are tired of hearing We just want a challenge, not an easy victory when you can easily remedy it by moving to T3 or T2 cuz I’m pretty sure you won’t find much of a challenge in T4. DB Mag and Yaks have all moved on.

Sekz was originally from Fort Aspenwood (T3 at the time) and from what I’ve heard the lag was so bad that they had to leave. If we were to move to a T3 server or higher we would need better computers since most of us don’t have supercomputers just sitting around. Plus, Ehmry has an excellent community and has the ability to go to T4; it would be a shame to just up and leave such a great group of people.

Since you are here by choice and staying by choice. How about get your trolls to stop complaining (We just want a challenge, not an easy victory) and accept the consequences of your decisions to stay.

Don’t be surprised if your here another 8 weeks.
