The damage that thieves deal isn’t the problem. The problem it is the only mechanic that can’t be counter which is stealth, specially constant stealth during one encounter.

What a relieve to find other players are having this same issue, follow on the thread below too

I got same problem.
All my skills have 1-2 seconds delay (but my FPS always stay 60+), and I am frozen and d/c like every 5-10 mins. It never happen before yesterday’s patch.
I tried to reset modem and router but it won’t help.
The game is totally unplayable for me now.

Ever since yesterday and the patch I have been getting so many instances of really bad skill lag. I’ve also been getting complete disconnects from the game even though i’m still connected to the internet. I’m still able to visit webpages and I’m still connected to mumble while I’m getting disconnected.

Anyone else experiencing this? Or is it just my internet being wonky this week because everyone is off from school and people have spring break and people probably are on vacation from work?

Currently at lvl 96, spending hundreds of golds to convert to gems so we can buy ressurection orbs.

Yes, Jade Maw at 50 still deals 1172% HP/sec with agony. You’d need 960~ agony resistance to reliably survive (which is not possible and never will be).

whats the point in running fractals after you got your rings + backpeice + infused? I think it only took lvl 30 (running 26/10 dailies aswell) to get to that point. I was about fed up with fractals at lvl 10 for christ sakes.

doing the same dungeon over and over and over and over again is fun? The challenge isn’t even there the fights DO NOT CHANGE in the higher tier fractals rather they just “lol more hp more dmg” and add more agony. This does not in any way shape or form make it more “challenging” it just drags the fights out a little longer.

That’s only your perspective. Personally, I love Fractal specially at higher lvls, it can be a challenge if you haven’t master avoiding all the agony bosses attack(except maw of course) and a whole lot of fun if you run it with outgoing, entertaining group of people.

I haven’t done fractal about a month and a half. I reached to lvl 50 in that instance and couldn’t pass it because maw was impossible to beat, has this been improvised? is it possible now?

Where can I farm destroyer lodestones aside of the large and heavy miner’s bag.

Is there a magic find stat cap in the game? if so, what’s the number.

What’s new with rangers? Since the first week of close beta as an ele with all the builds i have tried, this profession was always the easiest for me to kill; Now all of the sudden i see so many using a massive healing/dps build where It is such a challenge and some of them even impossible for me to defeat theml.

The only reason you are missing with fire grab is because you are not facing your oppoenent directly, your opponent might have moved a bit to the sides, dodged out of the way or simply out of the close range.

I have a few concerns before i buy superior sigil of battle for my weapon set. If i have 2 superior sigil of battle in my s/d or d/d wep set, does the might stack? do I get 6 or is it still 3? Also, If i buy only one while the other ghostly dagger has the default sigil does it delay the sigil of battle effect when attunement swapping? Please let me know. Thank you!

All mmos forums are full of ridiculous senseless whiners, specially on the genral discussion section…. How can you possibly complain about a very small task for a monthly achievement.

Create your own group and stop being complaining for unnecessary reasons.

You are using the wrong type of rune and weapon type to maximize your dmg output.

I do perfectly well with my glass/cannon ele 30/30/0/0/10, I only tend to lose with good mesmer players as they constantly play with my mind and make me waste most of my skills lol. There are not many good ele players out there and most of the tanky/defensive build eles are so easy to beat.

1- Proving ppl wrong that ele is NOT underpowered in pvp. Quite the opposite once you master the profession itself.
2-A lot of contents to explore for a non-subscription, high graphics awesome new game.
3- The voices and unique personalities from all the characters met in story. My favorite -Tybalt!
4- Pretending I’m afk in wvw facing the opposite direction of an upcoming enemy. When he/she finally decides to atk, i teleport behind him and kill him… always get them of guard.
5- Vertical progression

When you work in the IT field and come across a never seem problem and you tell the user “This is rather rare”

You can successfully run any of the dungeons except Arah and Fractal lvl 20+ with any team mates or personal traits/build.

I have 3 lvl 80’s(Ele, Warrior, Mesmer) all with full exotics gears/accs. Only on my ele so far i have done fractal up to lvl 21. Today I wanted to play with my warrior with a group that were going to do lvl 12 and to my surprise i couldn’t. It turns out I have to do all the lvls again. What are your thoughts regards to this? are you willing to go up in lvls all over again with your other characters within your account specially in this hard to find a group game?.

For pvp it is better but for pve I perferred the previous version of vapor form on downed state.

Rank means nothing and you outscoring as number 1 is easy to do even beginners pvping for the first time can do it. Unless your high numbers are from 1v1 situations then it doesn’t determine if you are better than the others. Until/if we get Arena where 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 can be scheduled against top duelists then ranks doesn’t mean anything. Thieves/assasins always start very strong on every mmo then they get nerf real hard to the point they become so weak a lot of people stop playing them, then sometime later they get buffed again. This game won’t be any different.

How do you do 1v1 in this game? That would be so epic. I would duel you with my ele.

Thieves always start strong on every mmo and then they get nerf real hard. I wouldn’t be surprise it happens in gw2 as well. My vote goes for the thief as the most annoying profession in wvw, in spvp and in dungeons by constantly getting downed.

I tried all classes during beta doing only pvp and I found Eles to be the one class aside of warriors to do really good as glass cannon build massive burst dmg. With the thief I can 1-4 shot ppl but that’s boring. That’s why I got my Ele as my main,

See ya later. I still don’t understand how some ppl find eles useless on pve and pvp. I excel on both contents killing every class in pvp on 1v1 and surviving dungeon runs as a glass cannon build. It could be my build/traits/weapon set that I see very few using or my way to play or both. My point is eles are very powerful on both pvp and pve.

I only read the first and last paragraph. I’m glad you enjoyed it that much. This game rocks on bringing strangers together as friends.

Same here Zades as an Elementalist and definitely fine in terms of:
- Not diying
- Able to get teammates backup when they get down
- Support Teammates with 2 protective utility spell and great damage dealing
- Able to constantly dodge and avoid getting down or be the last man standing from your entire party.

You could have said all of that in less than a paragraph. Great post anyways. Everyone should play the way they find it more fun.

There are a whole lot of major issues to fix. Anet shouldnt bother on focuing on this minor stuff.

Sweet! can’t wait! It takes time for this to be accomplished the right way. Whoever quits before these features are implemented will simply come back once they are realeased. It happened several times before the game annouced its released date and I’m sure it will happen again.

O wow, I didn’t notice that. I’m here pressing 1-4 to see if at least the skills are cast and not trying to switch between attunements haha. How did I do that not being in any attunement? Thanks a bunch!

I’m unable to view or cast any weapon skills while having a weapon equipped. The issue seems to be only with my main character; when i switch to my alt the interface is ok. I restarted client, swapped to other weapons, and moved to other locations but the problem still persist. It just happened all of the sudden while I was selling junks and gears not suited for my profession. I have attached a screenshot of the occurrence.

I did submit a support ticket but I’m wondering if anyone else is encountering this problem or have possible solutions. Thanks!
