I’ve got my gems waiting for this too, I feel like they should release items separately cause not everyone is willing to spend 2000 gems on an outfit and I say this cause I feel like the rest of the bundle is unwanted and has no use for me.

Are you doing any events besides the Breach? Did you do the same boss in every one of those fifteen Breaches you did?

If the answer to those questions are “no” and “yes”, respectively, then that’s your issue. If you repetitively farm a single event without doing anything else, you’ll stop getting rewards from it.

yes I’m doing indigo and I do every event until breach. Idk whats wrong since last week I was doing the same thing and getting rewarded every time, maybe they changed it.

I’ve been in like 15 breach maps and im not getting the 3 rares anymore? wasting 15-30 minutes in every map and getting nothing? Is this happening to anyone else

Honestly, from my experience I would say kitten the mystic forge that kitten is just a gold sink I have literally lost enough gold to make 2 legendaries over my 3 years of playing which made me quit for a few months after each attempt… It’s addicting. Just play it safe and farm the gold, I finally made my first legendary this year but I had to drop $75 on gems for my precursor cause to me my time > money but yea… Just stay away from the forge.

I’ve got a lot of ascended armor/weapon boxes and trinkets from playing. Just do high level fractals they drop quite often.

Having to constantly point my camera from the ground upwards to see cool animations from the sunrise gets annoying but necessary if I want to avoid the poo coloured slash effects.

I’m not sure I get this attitude. It’s a question of time and interest more than difficulty for most people.

A full set of ascended gear costs something like 350G – 450G. I don’t know what people’s average gold-making rates are, but if you’re making 10G/hour (which isn’t a bad rate!) that’s still 35-45 hours of farming to gear up a character, with a single stat.

That’s not difficult, but it’s definitely grind, and if it’s required for raiding, it’s mandatory grind.

(You can change stats in the Mystic Forge now, but that’s something you want to do once, not back-and-forth as you experiment or do different content.)

Also if you have a non-meta statset for ascended you’ll need to start from square one even if you wanna raid.

Raids should require fully ascended geared players from the start. It’s honestly not hard to get, I made it in less than a month back when gold wasn’t easy with the methods now it could be done even faster. Anyone having a cry about it is just lazy af. It’s “End game” suck it up and make your ascended.

It’s not difficult, just time consuming. You can farm sw for an hour or 2 a day and make 20g+ which is what I did, took me about a month and a bit + $75 lol. Just do fun stuff to make gold and dont worry about it just let your gold pile up till you can buy the required items so it wont feel like a grind

I have a few friends I want to play gw2 with but they tried the game and it wasn’t to their liking. “theres a reason no one plays that game” out of curiosity what is this ‘reason’ cause in my 3 years of playing gw2 right now is more alive than ever.

I’d put buy orders for exotics under 50 silver, buy exotics with dungeon tokens or buy exotics with sigils/runes that cost more than the piece itself and use black lion salvage kits on them. Doing this has gotten me about 200 dark globs over my years of playing

Lmao If you think grinding in gw2 is worse than any game in existence then you probably didn’t play much games at all. Grind in gw2 is mostly for cosmetics and the grind is a choice. If you complain about little things like that when you have a choice to not do it makes it seem like you’re a whiny lil kitten irl tbh.

Everything in the game has some sort of grind to it if you think about it. But ask yourself, does this make you a better player? Does it increase your stats? You don’t need it but it’s there if you want it. The halo/horns are one of those items which says you were playing way back then or “I grinded hard for this” its bragging rights items not really needed but nice to have like legendaries. #swagwars2

It’s not the same amount of grind. We only have 4 days to do it this time, but last time it was available for a month, so you could spread it out over 28 days.

Idk I got it within 2-3 days grinding. If people really wanted them they’d grind for it. I’m probably gonna try get a few halo’s so I don’t have to keep transferring my potions.

I grinded AND paid 10g for the thoughtless and selfless potions when they were released, the fact that they re-released them should have bumped the price to 25g.

OR they could just remove those potions which shouldn’t even be there as it was a living story item that people worked hard AND paid 10g for way back then. yea I know, its been put up twice during the 21 days. Its a big hit when it comes to making money for Anet so I wouldn’t be surprised if they put it back up to make more money.

So this 3rd year anniversary sale I got myself black wings, some bag slots, silver fed salvage kit(not worth, been getting 5 ectos from 20 rares) and a lot of useless blue and green dyes I already had. This years sales was a big flop for me, I mean for 3 years you’d think it’d be something great like stuff the player-base have been asking for for years now. Or at least some decent new items, after dropping $125 on this game to finish off my legendary and buy stuff on sale I’m pretty salty with what’s come out so far I mean really how hard is it to re-release items? It’s already in the game just put them up. I was about to drop another $50 on gems yesterday in hopes that the last day would be grand but after seeing today’s sale, that’s a no from me. I gladly bought $35 worth of rp for some project skins/skins on sale on league of legends instead, money well spent ty Riot games for the great sales/new skins that people actually want. Still hoping for tomorrow’s sales tho! C’mon anet don’t let us down with revive orbs and bl keys. My wallet is ready!

Sure, they got off to a great start with the game but out of 3 years this anniversary sale is actually the worst. You can say I’m just being salty cause I didn’t get the items I want which is true but whats also true is that anet put a tonne of useless gemstore items nobody would want for crazy discounts like 90%

20hrs for 5g at sw… What a joke, easily 14-20g an hour at sw if anything anet should nerf the loot with how easy it is to make gold. I’ve been playing since release pretty much and the only thing I complained about was precursors until I had one drop for me after 3 years of playing and another one a few days later.

Been playing since 2012, the new area was a little rough to begin with since I was so used to killing mobs just using hundred blades and it really makes you use your skills. Once you figure out the enemy mechanics and learn which abilities to dodge even the smokescales were op but there’s a lot of counter play and once you know it they’re not hard at all. Went full zerker and rekt, not gonna lie I died a few times and got downed but it lessened the more I played.

I’d suggest a gtx960, I’m getting 60-120 fps going to as low as 25-40 during world bosses on ultra settings

Oh I tried it… went through about 300 of the ascended globs. Made a 2000g profit. It was fun. Stopped after that though, too much pressure.

I’d say I went maybe 20x before losing all my gold but like I said most of the rich just end up making more.

A rich person would never gamble more than 10-20% of their money on any single thing, that is how you lose it all. I typically have investments in 40-50 different items, and if I gamble at all I only do so with a set amount of money, usually 10% of my liquid gold.

I don’t buy frivolous things, and I farm my own mats even if it takes me an extra few weeks. Everyone is playing the same game, starting from the same point.

Take me as example: Have crafted a eternity, and the bifrost. Have all upgrades possible on my acc. Also, had a little over 1600g 2 weeks ago.

Gambled with ecto, and got down to 5g, and 76/100 on the skritt support. You logic fails on me.

Still, I farmed sivlerwastes the last 2 weeks (2h/day) , ONLY playing, not gambling with anything else, and what do you think? Got back to ~200 g. Thats in 2 weeks playing.

TL:DR – The lazy get poorer, The player get richer.

I’m not lazy, I farmed that gold all by myself from dungeons to frost gorge to the now new farm silverwastes where I spammed “F” everyday. The difference between me and you is that you already have legendaries, you barely have anything to worry about. I have yet to loot or even buy a precursor to make a legendary the closest I’ve gotten to a legendary is elonian wine.

2500g wasted you couldv’e bought as lengendary. It’s a long term goal remember slowly slowy catchy monkey. As i say to guildies etc save up and dont spend and gamble, yes it takes a while but it is achieveable.

I could have a few legendaries by now but whenever I get past the 500g mark like 700-900g I end up blowing it all on the forge after so many guildies and people in map chat pinging their precursors saying kitten like “300g #worth” I always end up depressed after my many failed attempts. Then anet just adds this ecto gambler to make it worse and I even had to sell my pet undead chicken to fuel my newly found gambling addiction where I then lost it all. I have nothing tradeable, just a lot of skins on my account sorry.

I swear to God everyone I’ve seen with legendaries just gamble their ectos for fun and come out on top with like 1,000g+ or roll rares in the forge and out comes precursors like it’s common loot and then when I try with all my hard earned gold I lose it all. Over my years of playing I found that everytime I try stuff with RNG involved anet comes out with the finger “*#%!% YOU AND YOUR HARD EARNED GOLD!” With around 2500g including 4000gems that I bought myself on my birthday lost to RNG since 2012. I usually run around with 300-450% magic find and I feel like this accounts fate was made upon creation to have THE kittentiest luck ever. After losing everything I now quit this game.

The answer is simple, simply lock out those features and the qq’ing ends. I mean after getting over the fact that ill probably never get a pre in the normal game you kinda understand why they don’t let you keep progression on it cause people can spam and remake revenants and forge their gear but why add that to the game? if their reason is to try out builds then whats the use of having a remake option when you pretty much get everything handed to you upon making a revenant anyways. Idk RNGesus pls gimme a pre lol.

RNGesus finally blessed me with a precursor today which soon turned into a troll face in my inventory after finding out that I cant even keep or sell it cause I was on my revenant… like c’mon 2000hrs of playing and I get a precursor in the BETA…
