Dungeons are pretty dead and its hard to find lvl 80 experienced groups after reset.

I think the heavy legendary armor is the best looking set in game so yea I guess i’ll have to raid sometime… I would have preferred it to be like the legendary weapons having to do collections or world completion even one for each piece would have been nice for people who dont like raids. I personally dont like raids because it isnt noob friendly, too many toxic elitists and with the pugs i’ve joined it never gets completed cause people keep rage quitting.

Will this ever be a thing? I was pretty hyped for the legendary armor till I found out it was tied to raids. Or at least make it sell-able on tp.

The reason the Crystal Arbiter pack isn’t available separately is because it was one of the first appearance packs (actually the first, IIRC) and introduced at a time when those types of packs weren’t available separately at all.

Due to player feedback they made future sets available in the form of individual items after releasing a couple more “locked” ones. But to avoid ticking off all the players who sucked it up and purchased them back in the day, they won’t make the first packs available separately, lest they be bombarded by posts and customer service requests saying “I bought it when it was bundled but didn’t really want the bundle, now I feel ripped off!!!”

Who cares about those people, I see thousands of gems worth of perma finishers up in the tp for 5g a few of which I bought. I never got any refunds or compensation for it.

Nah, exchange rate always goes up high when something limited or some old item comes back to the gemstore and every week anet has been adding old items/new skins to the gemstore which explains the high exchange rate. Moth wings are coming soon so expect another increase when the gemstore updates again.

There’s very little prestigious items left in the game tbh, when those potions first came out it was quite the grind to Aquire them and when they were introduced for a second time it was even more of a grind to get it. Having anet add them for a do nothing and log on every day currency + a measly amount of gold is just a finger to those players saying “kitten the time you spent grinding to get this, everyone can get it now!” But at the same time I wouldn’t mind it being reintroduced again just not in the laurel merchant/gemstore item.

Yea they should, I’ve got almost 6k spirit shards and they’re just piling up and collecting dust.

I don’t see anything wrong with how they describe the bundle, it clearly states “2 bag slots” not “2 account wide bag slots” and as for the dyes it says account bound unidentified dyes which is in fact what you get but after consuming them they become sellable which is the case for all dyes sold in the gemstore.

I don’t think it is a result of a dupe purely because Anet have been very on top of that stuff in the past. They can track items with ease. I am surprised that there is still supply to be dumped though.

I know what he does, ive been closely watching the skins on gw2dp/spidey for the past few weeks. he puts in small but somewhat realistic buyorders at a set price that he wants and when he gets enough orders on top of that he removes his buyorders and fills them in. But that still doesnt change the fact that hundreds have already gone out and he still has more.

I’m just not buying someone bought hundreds when they first dropped ( and maybe more to explain todays endless supply ) Keep in mind, this was 3 months into the game. Sure, relatively speaking, they were cheap back then. But back then, 1 gold was maybe like 10 gold today.

When ArenaNet did the raffle thing two years later. They knew it was a rare item and wanted to create something fun to try for. And at the time it worked. I know I went for it. They limited the raffle to just 100, a very small fraction from what’s been magically being put up for sale today. If they knew there were hundreds/maybe thousands more out there, I don’t think they would have did the raffle thing.

I just don’t see any explanation of this other than someone has figured out how to duplicate the skin. If they have, that’s why they don’t care if they only get 400G, 300G, or even 200 G. They have a endless supply.

Maybe I’m all wrong, but I predict this will not stop until ArenaNet looks into it, and stops it…………piece.

So I’ve been thinking about it, if I was a new player I would buy one bank slot. My little bro who got the game filled it up fairly quickly and that would be enough to start. I wouldn’t go on and buy a set of perma gathering tools cause tbh you don’t really get your gold back from it and no one farms so much that you’d need perma gathering tools since you’ll most likely see a merchant everywhere you travel and can just restock your gathering tools there. Copper fed kit however is a must, it just saves so much space rather than filling your inventory with basic salvage kits. I don’t think you’d need to expand your inventory, just look up how to get the 20 slot Halloween bags and use those which should be enough to start. Character slots are always good. I’d just save the rest of it until something in the gemstore tickles your fancy and remember to preview before you buy which you can do so ingame or look it up on dulfy. And also stay away from gambling haha it will get tempting but you’ll do most likely end up losing and will lose even more when you chase your losses like I did xD

yea id get a bank slot or 2, copper fed salvage kit and save the rest for cool glider skins. And also you should gift LimitBreaker.4165 the new bubble glider cause youre awesome

I feel the exact same way, I’ve been playing since 2012 and have lost enough gold to the forge to make 1-2 legendaries. I’ve looted 2 precursors, one on my beta revenant which I can’t keep anyways and one on my main and that was after 3 years of playing. When I played SAB today literally everyone in my party got a skin chest drop except for me… And I also have 375% mf most of the time.

Really disappointed with the March sales this year, I mean after kittenty news that new legendaries aren’t in the works at the moment they could have atleast made the community happy by releasing the old requested skins instead of trash that no one wants. I’ve been looking to see wide rim glasses and aviators in the gemstone since I took a break during 2013 and missed them. They bring back bunny ears and wizard hat which is nice but I couldn’t care less about them and only got them for the sake of having them… Typical anet sales tho… I’m just surprised black lion keys weren’t on sale for 2-3 days like they normally do lmao…

Meh, most of the new items coming out always has entitled people QQing over how “overpriced” everything is. Reminder that gems can be earned via ingame gold, you dont HAVE to spend real money and buying it is like buying stuff like copper salvage kit its not needed but its just there as a QoL thing.

Look. I’ll get the tree this year. I’ll set aside 2 bank slots and pile up one present a day until next year’s Winterfest and open them all then. But that *$&@($ing! jump puzzle just ain’t happening for me.

I had a problem with the jp, spent 4 hours the first day trying then the next day I adjusted my camera speed, lowered the gamma and turned off particle effects and I managed to get 3 done in 1hr. I just need 300g to buy enough drinks now :P

Don’t think you can get banned for doing a giveaway but it’d have to be in items with a unique message with each one so you don’t get the excessive Mail thing. I’m not 100% sure but something that you won’t get banned for is helping me out without my 10,000 winters day drinks

Its good the way it is, it’s not even a “grind” I made my ascended set in like 1 month just playing normally and having fun.

Silverwastes! Seriously, not even chest farming, just doing the events gets me that much gold. You can get even more though with chest farming. I would make 100g a day sometimes chest farming. What I do is salvage EVERYTHING, I mean everything that is below 1g. Sell items 1g or more on the TP. After salvaging everything, you’ll end up with valuable mats like silk, linen, ores and other expensive mats. You sell those all.

Can I ask… How many hours are involved in a days play for you?

Could I make this 100g a day from 2 hours or will I need to invest 8+ hours?

I make about 50g in 2 hours so for 100g it would be 4 hours, with chest farming.
Just doing the events though I make about 30g every 2 hours.

50g in 2hrs… either youre talking kitten or youre part of the illuminati cause sw loot got nerfed for days. I usually run around in a chest train for 2hrs and get around 14-20g+ and I have mf% capped. not to mention the nerfs to salvaging, I barely get ectos from rares now.

You’re lucky they even have a gold to gem conversion. I’ve spent a lot of real money on this game but a lot of the times when I want something in the gemstore I just convert the gold I need and I’m not even rich making only 5-10g a day. They should really remove that feature so that we don’t get people whining about not getting the items they want easy lmao. #pay2win #nerfgemstorepls #brokeneconomy but real talk tho, they need to release items separately at full price cause aside from the glider/outfitsI don’t have use for any of the junk that comes with the bundles.

Cause I don’t want all that extra stuff they put in the package, it’s only there to up the price and make the package seem worth it. I have a lot of guildies that bought the pack just for the glider or just for the weapon skin, would’ve been better to just sell them separately.

I really want that crystal arbiter outfit and it only comes in a package that costs 2000 gems, I don’t exactly have enough gold to buy gems and I’m currently sitting at 100g but I make around 10g+ a day so if anyone’s nice enough to gift me it for now while I pay you back 10g everyday until I fully pay off for the gems it costed. Not so much of a gift request but more of a loan request haha.

That’s normal for oce, we usually get stuffed overpriced. I remember buying the original guild wars 2 back in 2012 for $120 and it wasn’t even deluxe lol same thing with my iPhone 6, cost me $1350.
